Has there ever been a book that you just can't seem to get a copy of to read?
Lately I have wanted that new novel out by Colleen Shannon called Catspell. The one day that I saw it in Wal-Mart, I didn't have enough money on me to purchase it. I checked at the stores on my way to campus this week and even searched through inter-library loan, but it isn't in circulation yet. What I really need is to get to Borders. ninja

This isn't something that I'm currently trying to get my hands on, but I had a very hard time finding my copy of "Storm Over Skye," by Allan Campbell McLean. It's a kind of mystery that takes place on an Island called Skye. It's been out of print for quite some time, I couldn't find it in any library, and no bookstore had heard of it. Years after I'd first borrowed it from a friend, I found an Ex Libris copy on Ebay. I snatched it, and it was every bit as good as I remembered it. And well worth the wait.

Hmmmmm....Well, I do want to read Child Called It. I heard it's a really good but sad story. But my mom wouldn't let me read it for summer reading xp She said it was too sad.

The Beautiful Boy by Germaine Greer The Forbidden Game trilogy by L. J. Smith As many Borderlands books as I can get my hands on, various writers but edited by Terri Windling. Thud! by Terry Pratchett From Hell by Alan Moore The new special edition of Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. The final 6 volumes of Sandman graphic novels by Neil Gaiman. Soul Kitchen by Poppy. Z. Brite, that won't be for a while though, it's not even been released yet. There's probably more, but I can't think of them off the top of head.

I can never seem to find the fifth book in the spiderwick cronicls, I have read the other four and just can't find the last one. That is so anoying. I did, however, find two books that I have been looking for forever: Van Nostrands Scientific Encyclopedia (a huge book from 193 cool and Physical Geology, third edition ( an old collage text book from 1932). Sence both are long out of print there arn't many floating around so I was realy suprised when I found them in a GoodWill.

I actually have an easier time finding Robert Jordan's books..it's harder for me to keep track of which ones I do and don't have...
As for C.S. Lewis...at first I had that problem, but once the movie came out, they released the 7 volume collection in one book, the same way they did with LotR, so I was able to buy it that way. Much easier than keeping track of 7 small books.
