Raven

The true soldier fights not because she hates what is in front of her.

Riven wandered through the streets that she had grown accustomed to over the last several decades. The Dragon's watchful gaze had grown welcome over the year, even comforting knowing that should anything happen she was not alone. As she walked along several citizens parted and stepped out of her way, many knowing that bumping into her was like running headlong into a brick wall. She was a Gougan Knight, one of only a handful of elite warriors that protected those who lived and believed in the Royku Empire and King Dante V Valour and the Valour family bloodline. In addition to being a Knight Raven was also personally asked by the King to attend to Lady Aurora, the King's younger sister.

Lady Aurora will be asking for me soon so id best make this quick.

The seemingly unassuming woman of a maiden's age strode up to a well armored elderly man speaking quickly to what appeared to be new recruits. Raven stood at 4'11" head and shoulders, a set of tight fitted plate armor wrapped around her chest and belly. She wore matching bracers and leggings fitted with thick green leather covering the rest of her body. Her trademark blade, Arthus, sat strapped tightly to her back. The blade stood a few inches taller then her from tip to hilt, and was rumored to be as heavy as she as well. Although rather short, Raven weighed nearly 6 times the weight of any girl her age something at was due to the fact that her body was completely constructed out of crystal.

Captain, i have come to collect the weekly report on the cities outer walls for Lady Aurora. Is it prepared?

Raven's voice was monotone and barren of emotion, normal for someone like herself. Spinning on the spot the Captain quickly spun on spot and faced her.

Ah! Lady Raven, i was expecting you today. Lady Aurora sent a messenger ahead of you. Yes i have it ready inside, give me a moment to fetch it.

The Captain ducked inside the post and returned a few seconds later with a sealed scroll.

We have not had much trouble with the outer walls. Just the usual bandits and wild animals that attack merchants every now and again. Nothing to be worried about i assure you Lady Raven.

Raven gently took the scroll and slipped it into her belt. She then turned and walked away in the same direction that she had come, calling to the Captain over her shoulder as she walked.

Good work Captain, ill pass the information on to Lady Aurora. Ill see you next week as usual. As you were!

Raven was learning more and more about human emotion, a concept that she had only recently begun to understand and adapt to. The Captain was always so... Happy? Excited? To see her. Something that she didn't fully understand. perhaps she would ask Lady aurora about it when she next saw her. Raven continued to think to herself as she made her way back slowly to the palace district, hoping to not be late for Lady Aurora.
