Riley had wandered straight back to his dorm after the failed Science lesson, so much for actually trying to give a damn... what a joke it had been! It seemed like the teachers didn't even care, which he supposed was probably true. Who wanted to worry about some delinquent student anyway? They were just stains on society, right?
That pissed him off, and he found his fist slamming into the wall. Especially as his eyes focused on not one but two beds... he would be sharing? What! He hadn't shared anything with anyone in what seemed like forever, even his parents didn't seem to live with him when he had been at home. They gave him money to keep food in the cupboards and the bills paid but that was the end of their contact. Not that it mattered, nothing having them there had always been easier for Riley to handle... at least, that's what he told himself.
He noticed his bag had been brought here already, it stood at the end of one of the beds, so he assumed that he was meant to have that one. It was away from the window and near the ensuite bathroom. Sitting on it he groaned,
"Lumpy." He commented, even as he kicked himself back to lie on the thing. Just as he thought, the thing didn't seem to have been built with a good night's sleep in mind... but beggars couldn't be picky could they?! His eyes wandered towards the other bed.... who would his 'room mate' be? Would he even get on with the guy? Whatever, as long as the guy didn't bug him, talk to him, or try and get to know him Riley was sure he could just ignore him and pretend as if he didn't exist. Yes, that would be best for everyone.
What was he doing here? Riley was still questioning himself on the subject, maybe he should have spoken up after all? Still, who would ever have believed him?! He had been accused and expelled without any evidence, simply because he had a reputation... but fire? Riley had never set a first before. s**t! What did it matter. This hell hole.. another hell hole... they were all stepping stones to be walked over to get to the end game. Whatever the end game was. He had long ago lost sight of it.
