User ImageSo. It was finally time for Izusko to leave his birth herd, and explore the King's lands, to claim what he wanted, as his mother had taught him, as his father had demanded of him. He knew his birth family had immense expectations of him, and he fully intended to succeed where even they had failed. He tossed his head, and glanced up at the cloudless sky, before pawing at the reddish sands beneath his dinner-plate-size hooves, blinking his dark red eyes, and then drew a deep breath into his bellows-like lungs, before setting out over the sun-burnt sands, seeking his destiny. He knew he wouldn't be able to do it on his own- after all, he was just one stallion, and even Azrein traveled in herds for strength and companionship. Izusko would need to gather like-minded mares and stallions- preferably mares, he added to himself- in order to make his own place.

With that thought in mind, he set out at a steady pace, his dark-striped flesh rippling over well-developed muscles and taking long, sure strides, heading north. The Rouh'Ek Desert, after all, was an extremely unlikely place to start a herd.

Not to far away from the forsaken desert, actually just outside of it, stood Paimon. The dark, firey stallion set the grass under his hooves ablaze and watched as the flames licked at the fuel. Two days since he had last seen his blasted 'father'.

Anger hollowed up in Paimon's chest. He had just seen his father's new offspring, the lazy good for nothing cowards, that were currently hiding under a blanket. And of course it was only natural that they would get more guidance from Ruin than Paimon ever did.

"I am nothing like Ruin." he growled out, watching as the blaze lept higher, licking, carressing Paimon's hooves. He stomped the fire out, in lust to kill something, even if it was just a simple blaze, and shifted the weight of the saddle on his back, the metal thing chafing against his dark pelt.

"Blast it." he muttered darkly. Maybe it was time he found himself a mare to shack up with, if only for a night so he could sow his own fertile seeds of destruction. And perhaps.. eventually... he would have enough followers to take down his father, once and for all, and show the good for nothing how much Paimon had gained, from not being around and raised and shown how to live by his father.

Ah, finally! His hooves rested on solid dirt, atop cool, lush grass, and he lowered his head immediately, and then started eating some of the grass quietly, happily, before lifting his head, and peering about, his ears twisting this way and that. There was a crackling, like fire, but only a small bit of it, and it wasn't too far off. He had never really seen fire up close- the desert didn't have anything to burn, but he'd been told it was a beauty to behold, like a flower that changed shape all the time. The stallion set out towards the sound, and then frowned lightly, blinking as he heard another stallion's voice, and approached. "Hello, there... What are you doing here?" he called softly.

Paimon was just about to leave when he heard a strange voice coming from behind. He whirled around, prepared for defense when the words actually sank into his flaming skull. Paimon's dark eyes narrowed as he took in the striped being. He was certainly azrein, though much bigger than any azrein he'd seen before, and the pattern of his coat was unusual, though he had seen plenty of swirls and heck.. look at him. "I could ask the same of you, Stranger. I am just wandering through. I am called Paimon." He offered pleasantly enough, while still being suspicious of the other's motives.

The grass rustled softly under six large hooves, as they expertly stepped one after another. The mare had no particular place she wanted to go but had no place she wanted to stay either. It was all fine for her. She was content on wandering the lands on her own, with nothing or no one to tie her down.

The latter was not much her choice as it was everyone she would encounter. If one were to look at this Azerin, one would immediately say that she wasn't normal. First of all was the fact that she had two additional legs between the usual four. She honestly did not mind them, it made her faster, but it was obviously something that set other Azerin off. Next would be the tendrils at both sides of her head in place of her ears, between them was a 'fin' of some kind. Last, but definitely not least, was her lack of a tail of any kind. The dark mare was just others vision of a demon, thus causing most to run from her. Good riddance would be all that she would think.

Pressing onward, Chumana's pace slowed when she heard voices up ahead, and by their tone, coming from stallions. A deep snort escaped her, tossing her head causing the tendrils to whip about before settling at the sides of her head again. "Feh." Was all she 'said, before pressing forward once again.
