Clenching her jaws shut, the winged mare stopped walking to take a moment to glance around at her surroundings. She liked the open plains the best because it left a lot of room to get away from an ambush or create her own ambush. She was always thinking like this. Maniacal and intelligent at the same time. it was in her blood and as she grew she liked it more and more. It was definitely something she would love to pass down to her children one day. If that even was in her agenda. She wasn't find of foals, but if she wanted to expand her bloodline she would need to shack up with a kalona. This thought left a slight distaste on her tongue. She didn't want to have to deal with another individual for even one minute.
Hissing lowly, she remembered her mother and father for a moment. Would they be proud of her? Even though she took after more kalona features then her mother who didn't have a kalona tail or horns, she didn't know if her father would be proud of her. He was a full blooded kalona and even though he always talked about purity of the race he still ended up staying with her half-blood mother. They really did love each other, but she didn't understand that 'love' word at all. She felt nothing for anyone anymore not even towards the memory of her parents. She knew they would probably be upset with how much she shunned others and didn't associate with even her own race. She laughed half-heartedly at her thoughts.
Her feet began to move forward and she slowly walked keeping her senses aware of everything around her. She would love to come into contact with another individual. She would love to have a little fun today. Something to keep her entertained.

A rather imposing figure cast a shadow over the plains. Zacharael's wings, all three sets, beat the air in a rhythmic pattern helping him keep aloft. Apparently he'd been too much in the way. Anger coursed through him at the thought of his mother being too absorbed in her work to even remember that she had children. Sure he was probably a little bit of an unexpected surprise but it gave her no right to completely ignore him.
The stallion dipped towards an open section of the plains and landed awkwardly. His spaded tail corrected his overbalance and Zacharael gave pause to gather his bearings. Where exactly had he landed? The tiny garter along his leg chafed and he peered down before grasping the blade of the knife that he carried with him always. Maybe he'd find time to hunt and bring down something more appealing than grass. He'd settled for that as a last resort though. It was more interesting and appealing to hunt for his own sustenance. His eyes scanned the horizon and picked out trees in the far distance. Perhaps he'd try there. As he began to move though something else caught his attention. Well well well. What did we have here? Zacharael remained statue-still as he tracked the movement of another Soquili on the plains. He gave a soft burst of malicious laughter before turning in the direction that would take him closer. Things were about to get very interesting.

There was another Soq in the area. She could feel it and this only caused her to flick her wings in a way to feel a little more secure then she already was feeling. She turned her head to the side as if hoping to spot the other individual that was near, but there was nothing. Only the silence around could be heard and most times she would love it since it meant she could think, but this wasn't one of those times. Silence either meant something was approaching or nothing was around. She was thinking it was the first thought, but she also could be wrong. As she reached further out into the open plains, she scanned the sky to see if maybe it was something above her, but they were bare. "Where are you.." She muttered lightly with a growl rumbling deep in her throat. It wasn't until she scanned the plains a second time that she saw a rather large stallion shambling towards her.
He was different looking and the one thing she noticed was his three strange wings. From what she could see he was part kalona as well and that was something that made her feel slightly more comfortable. She didn't know what to say at first, so she remained still and just stared at the other with a low hiss until her mouth parted. "Lone traveler?" She asked him flicking her wings out again before they fell into place on her back. This might pose as a very interesting meeting indeed.
