 ~Alex giggles and follows a butterfly away from his mother's side she told him that as long as he stayed in the clearing that his family called home. His father and siblings were still a sleep and he had asked if he could go and play. His mother said that she would call him from lunch and let him go on his way. He was now far from his family on the other side of the clearing and following this blue. green and purple butterfly.
He giggles and follows it to the small pond in the clearing then looks around at all the flowers before leaning down and getting a drink of water. He lifts his head and flicks his ears before getting a drink again. He smirks thinking about his family his sisters and then his mother and father. He noticed that he looked like his father he did have his mothers white on her nose and all four feet plus her hair color and the apple markings on his hip~

 Threnah squinted for a moment before getting up. It was aleady passed daybreak, and she had slept a bit later than normal. She had a wonderful nights sleep last night, and felt energized, even more than normal. She wondered what today would bring. "What should I do today?" she asked herself.
The early morning sun was just starting to warm her up, and she could feel her stomach start to grumble. Her question had been answered, at least for the moment. She walked over to her favorite part of the stream, where the berries seemed to be the juiciest. She grabbed a quick drink of water, and started munching on some berries. As she looked to the left, she saw a young foal in the distance drink from a small pond. She watched for a moment to see what the little foal was up to.

~Alex giggles and lefts his head then smirks and watches as a bird flys over his shoulder and up a little hill. He smirks then follows bouncing from side to side and watching the bird. He was so interested in watching the bird and didn't watch where he was placing his feet one second he was giggling the next he was on his face in the grass as he tripped in a hole. He glares at stands up and looks around then giggles and shakes his head glad that his siblings couldn't see that~

Threnah leans back down to get a mouthful of berries, taking her eye off the foal for a few moments when suddenly she hears a startling sound. She immediately looks over at the foal. "Oh my goodness, I do hope he is ok," she says to herself, "he took a mighty tumble." Just as she began to head over to where he was, the foal got up, and seemed to be ok.
She kept an eye on him for a few more moments, just to see that he was indeed ok.

He walks towards where Threnah was standing once he sees her he smiles then stops and blinks~ " Hello, miss." ~he watches closer and hoped this mare that he spotted was friendly. He giggles and smiles at her again and stops in front of her to look her up and down she was different from others she had seen so far~

Threnah looked the little colt over, but he appeared to be unharmed from his little fall. She noticed the cute little apple markings he had, in almost the same place as the hearts on her own coat. How funny, she thought.
"Hello, little-un. Are you alright?" She glanced around, wondering if she has missed another Soq hiding in the trees. Threnah didn't have much contact with other Soquili, but it seemed a little worrisome to her that a foal should be running around by himself. "Are you here alone?"

" Yes, I'm fine, would you like to play hide and seek with me" ~ He smiles and watches her. He was so glad to meet someone else here his mother would be happy that he was out and meeting other friends~
" no, my family is just over that little hill. My mother and sisters and father." He points wiht his nose. " I'm Alex."

"Oh, really? What a big family you must have. What a lucky little thing you are." Threnah glaced over in the direction of Kawani Village. "I just have my human companion whom takes care of me. I haven't met very many other Soquili."
At the mention of hide-and-seek, Threnah had to blink a little slowly at the colt. "What's hide and seek?"

" yes." ~he smiles and watches her then looks towards the way that she glaces~ " Two-leggers?" ~He things of animals that walk on two legs and big arms. His great grandmother lived into the two-legger villege but he wasn't allowed to go there~
~he blinks~ "its a game where someone is it. the one that is it counts to hunderd while the one not it hides. After a little while the one that is it seeks to find the not it. If found they become it and the other one hides."

Threnah nodded to his question, "Yes, two-leggers. I spend a lot of time around them."
The concept of the game was unlike anything Threnah had done before. She thought maybe the game explained some of the strange behavior she had witnessed in the human children in Kawani Village. "Oh, well, that might be fun. Would I be...it?"

~Alex looks at her, he wasnt allowed to go anywhere near the villege of two leggers. His father told his mother how dangeous it was and not he was not allowed to go there.~ " wow you are lucky I'm not allowed to go near the two-leggers."
~He nods~ "the game is very fun. I will be it you go hide." ~ he looks around then closes his eyes and starts to count~

Threnah continued to stare at the little foal for a few moments after he had started counting. Realizing she was supposed to be looking for a place to hide, she glanced around. Threnah was not all that big for a Soquili, but she was bright colored, and certainly bigger than the foal. Where could she hide?
Turning around, she looked at the trees nearby. They were all too thin to hide her body. Trotting farther out, she continue to glance around. Finally, she found a cluster of thick fir trees. Choosing one of the outliers, so as not to be to obviously hidden, she ran behind it and tried to make herself as small as possible. Hopefully the thick green needles would hide her coat color.

~Alex counts to a hundered then smirks and starts looking around for Threnah. He runs behide the trees then to a tall grass then he looks at the gree free trees he heads for them and smirks as nears them he looks at them then stops to look up at them.~
~he looks around the field turns and walks towards some tall flowers he sticks his head into them-

Threnah shifted her weight to each foot nervously. She wasn't entirely sure the tree hid her entire body or the color of her coat. She was a pretty mellow Soquili, but this game was driving her crazy! She peered out carefully between the branches to see if Alex was headed her way.

~Alex looks at the brushes and thought he saw Threnah's head he smirks and walks over to the brushes then pokes his head inbeween them and behind them he spots her and smiles~ " Got ya." ~ he giggles then prances around~
