because the people that run GAIA are incredibly stupid, I either have to pay 500K for a Dutiful Butler's Black Coat (Which I obviously can't afford) or...
does anyone have one I can buy from you? I'll give you like 10K for it or something...

Sadly I don't have one, but the Dashing Gentleman's Coat looks like it, and it's being sold for 9.5k.

More than likely it was just done to garner attention. Either shops are going to be combined or something magical will happen that it will be "fixed". Gaia won't let an entire shops inventory just go to the marketplace, it doesn't help them one bit.

I was just thinking to myself how much you would hate Blizzard. You know, the people who made World of Warcraft... Because they rob people every day. Not to change the subject... just, laughing over here...
25 dollars for optional server transfers...
10 dollars for optional name changes...
35 for optional race changes I think.... or maybe that's the transfer or both...
Selling a different pet and mount every week for 10 to 20 dollars alone....
15 dollars a month to even play........ subscribers for dayz.
Whenever I think of bankrupt, "accidental" fires, or obnoxious rich people, I think of Blizzard.

and..I think he might be dead, or hurt badly. If you go to enter the shop, you find his ruined, burned, undergarments.

Yeah it's a pretty fun game if you like to chill and just kill stuff honestly. If you like grinding it's a game you can honestly play forever. You beat it within like a day or two, but it's one of those games that you play for all of the extra content and getting your character as strong as possible. loots... looks... gear... same old.
I also found it pretty unique that the loot is completely randomized and it's very much like 2, so you can have a pretty baller item that no one else can get... so most of the people are in it for the real life auction house. Sell items for real life moneys D: kinda cray if you ask me, but it's totes unique to you so... whatever floats your boat I s'pose.
