The second leg of the triathlon is about to begin! This time, the playing field is a long stretch of water that your traine and their pokemon, a rental or their own, must swim or Surf through to try and catch one of those fast swimming pokemonRoll a 100-sided die to try to get the same number as one of the pokemon, you have an hour from the posted times (a big GO will be posted c: ) It is encouraged you put something in your post, namely a little roleplaying blurb of your trainer trying not to drown swimming. When you catch a pokemon, please post in large letters what you caught. If you catch a pokemon you don't want, you may release it in a post in large letters to let the other competitors and I know that the pokemon is still up for grabs.

Shaun perched on the back of a rented Dewgong. He was considering sitting by and just photographing the race, but he could use a water pokemon. A Tropius can't go everywhere, even though it can fly, and a water pokemon would be handy for teasing out more water pokemon to photograph. And so he entered the race. Still, he had a small waterproof camera on a cord around his neck, just in case. Suddenly the pokemon were released, and he was off!

It took Shaun a bit of getting used to to ride on a swimming pokemon. It was an entirely different shape from the pokemon he usually rode, and the resistance from the water continuously pushed him back. But he held on tight with both hands as he adjusted to riding.

Shaun thought he had the hang of it now, or at least he managed to stay on without feeling like he was about to fall off all the time. He looked around for the pokemon they were chasing.

Leela had to get a rental Sharpedo. It was incredibly awkward for her as she had never owned a water pokemon before. So she clung to it like her life depended on it. It seemed the rental knew what to do without her even telling it because it lurched forward at an incredible speed as the race started.

Shaun tried to decide which pokemon should he try to catch. It seemed counterproductive to try and chase all of them at once, when they were going different directions. He spotted one nearby, figured that was as good as any, and decided to chase that. He nudged his mount to turn and follow it.

They came in view of the psyduck that was in the race. Leela grew a little excited and it seemed to affect the rental. Her eyes grew big as it suddenly turned, her hands trying to hang on for dear life.

OK, directing a swimming pokemon was harder than Shaun thought. It didn't have reins like a horse pokemon. Neither did his Tropius, but Shaun just like his pokemon go wherever it wanted. But he was losing focus. Gotta keep his mind on the race! He tried different ways of nudging his mount to direct it.

OK, nudging was not working too well. So instead Shaun just pointed at the pokemon he was chasing and said, "Dewgong, follow that pokemon!"

They ended up going the complete opposite direction. But then they got really close to the magikarp until her rental got distracted and suddenly stopped swimming. Okay, now Leela had to figure out how to direct it the way she wanted.

Meredith had somehow found out about the race and felt terrible for the water pokemon. It was up to him to save one somehow! He dove into the water and quickly swam after them.

Now that Shaun was freed up from trying to guide his pokemon, maybe he could get a couple pictures. He still held on tight with his left hand, but he felt steady enough on his mount that he could use the other to take hold of his camera. But this was not exactly a smooth ride, so getting a good shot would be tricky.
