The Quest
For centuries the quest for three ancient Elven/Fae artifacts has gone uncompleted. These artifacts are ancient weapons from aa time before Humans came to Astoria; a time when Elves and Fae lived in peace. This quest has been labled impossible and discarded for decades until now. Four warriors are banding together to search for the weapons. One Fae, one Elf, and two Humans must work together or they will die as they face dragons, banshees, hobbes, and more on this impossible quest. Will they succeed where others have failed?

(Welcome all. Now let the quest begin!)
Celeste was sitting at a table in a corner of the tavern where she was supposed to meet at least one of the other people that took on the quest. She was getting stares from the Humans that crowed the place like so many boggarts. It would have been simple to hide she was Farie or Fae as she prefered to be called, just a little glamor spell would have done that but she did not want to hide. Celeste was not afraid of the little Humans around her. Their lives were so easily snuffed out in her opinion. Death was something they feared like the no longer immortal Elves the Fae once lived in peace with. Celeste couldn't hide the hate and contempt on her beautiful face, it kept the rable away anyway while she waited. She didn't like to wait.

Rune walked into the tavern, for some reason a smile on his face. He looked around, wondering who he should be looking for. It didn't take long for him to realize that it was Celeste and laughed a bit to himself. He walked over to her. "Excuse me miss, but are you the one with the job?" he asked as he placed his hand on the table and looked down at her.

"I did not know Humans were allowed to take Quests that rightfully belong to the Fae," Celeste said, not hiding her hatred for his race. "You must be good if both Courts and the Elves allowed it though. I do not like your kind and I will not be nice to you. Either deal with it or quit before we start. Now do not bother me. I am sure another is coming." She was completely blunt.

Rune couldn't help but laugh as he sat down. "Oh boy, you are gonna be fun." he said as he sat down and ordered a couple drinks. As he was waiting he pulled out a journal and started reading it.

Desmond was watching it from a corner in the room. He didn't like the thought of working with others but it couldn't be avoided. He saw that one was the one that was known as Rune. He heard tells about him but he hadn't yet set eyes on him. He caught what the Fae said and thought that it was time he made his presence known. He suddenly appeared in the chair at their table, it was as if he materialize out of the air. He said "Yes there is another one."

Celeste groaned. "Two Humans," she grumbled. "What has gotten into their minds?" She stood and stalked out of the tavern, leaving almost all of the Humans staring after her. Fae were rarely seen in Human lands but Celeste had her reasons. Unfortunately her past had caught up to her that day for the second she walked out she ran into a Fae messenger from the Winter Court. "Milady," the Unseelie Fae greated her, "I come bearing news of your ill mother and a message from your father. You mother died a fortnight ago and your father is calling you back to Lyrin to be bonded." "I have no intentions of going back," Celeste replied as she drew her favored but rarely used weapons from her pack. "I am sure you did not come alone." As an answer other Fae appeared, their weapons drawn. Celeste sighed and readied her faeblades. She wasn't going back without a fight.

"Doesn't look like you will get your drinks." Desmond said as he got up and followed the Fae outside. "Now this is a interesting sight. A Fae fighting other Fae from the Winter Court." He said as he walked up to the Fae that left the tavern. He had his hands behind his back as he faced the other Fae, he had a wicked grin on his face as he took a step back so he would be more in the shadows as he asked "Would you like some help?"

An arrow thudded into the Unseelie's throat. "I was told the being who arranged the quest for the artifacts would be in this tavern, and I find a Fae and two humans facing off against a group of Unseelie. I'll assume I found the right people?" Willow reached into the quiver on her back for another arrow and aimed it at the Unseelie Fae. "Mind if I join in?" she asked, smirking.

Rune looked outside and noticed the fight going on. He closed up his journal and walked out. "Do we really need to kill eachother? I say we talk first, negotiate, and if that doesn't work, then we can kill eachother." he said, keeping his blades in their hilts.
