Fūma Kotarō and Tsuruhime…
gym was today. we bounce a volleyball to each other (the friend mentioned yesterday in my rant thread). she plays with her back to the wall. i play with my back to other kids, who will send it back if i can't get it. she sends it about 20 zillion feet to my side, so i turn and let one of the others throw it back to us. i bounce it to her, miss by half a foot, and she doesn't try.
me: you could've gotten that
her: (pissy) no i couldn't. it was too far out, and you didn't get it.
me: (neutral voice) cuz i knew that they would send it back
her: *takes ball and starts playing with it by herself*
me: *joins another group*
/rant
she gets mad easily, and she's already annoyed cuz i won't let her borrow another book of mine cuz she already is borrowing one she only had in her locker all year. she says that it's there, and i tell her give it back...(it's in the rant forum if you wanna see all of it)
she's been like this a LOT lately. she's not on her period or anything (she gets miserable and shuts off the world when that happens), but this is a far cry from what she used to be. and lately, it's all about her. i try to say something when she's clearly done, she gets mad at me for "interrupting." interrupting what? her constant babble?
and then she gets mad when i set down fair terms and refuse to budge. i've made it a habit to not leave my things sitting around, and now that she's different, i'm doing it even more.
should i end this friendship? i've tried before, but she always convinced me to restart it. it's nearly the end of our junior year in high school (12 school days left owo), and we never talk during the summer, until she texts my mom (since my number is randomly blocked by her dad) a few days before school starts.
honestly, my day is better when she's not around, and we share homeroom, gym and band together. homeroom and band, we can't help, but i really hope that those are the only things i share with her next year x.x
we have almost nothing in common anymore, and i highly doubt i'll keep in contact with her once high school ends and we graduate. anyone have an idea to end it sooner? (in gym today, after she got mad like that, i stayed away from her. our gym teacher knows we're friends [for now], but i indicated that i wanted to be on a different team, so he went with it)
