This will be a singles battle using 2 pokemon and a random field will be rolled. Each of you will face each other once. The person with the best win record wins. If it's a tie, I will judge based on your strategies and on a lesser note, the quality of your responses.
Remember:
FIRST POSTS (for both of you): An introduction post of you walking into the stadium, DO NOT LET OUT YOUR POKEMON YET OR EVEN POST THEM, and rolling a 100-sided dice.
SECOND POSTS: The person who rolled the highest last time now sends out their pokemon (DO NOT ATTACK) and preferably posts the pokemon's cert/stats (also mention what your second pokemon is either OOC or in the RP post)
The other person now sends out their pokemon (DO NOT ATTACK) and also informs the other person who their second pokemon is either OOC or in the RP post
THIRD POSTS: The person who sent out their pokemon first can now attack
Then the battle proceeds as normal.
You guys will have 3 days to reply to the threads and I am hoping to get this wrapped up within 3 weeks. If your battle is incomplete within 3 weeks, the victory goes to the last person who posted.

Roll an Eleven: Canyon Field: The canyon walls towers high towards the ceiling while the ground sinks downwards several levels, making the top and bottom of the field very difficult to see without special equipment. The cliff faces are very steep with little ridge support for grabbing and climbing; on top of that, the rock faces are very damp which makes grabbing and holding on very difficult. A few skinny trees and roots jut out from the cliff and allow smaller, nimbler pokemon to grab and swing around. At the very bottom of the canyon’s long drop is a deep pool of water. Keeping up is difficult for trainers on this particular battlefield, so stadium officials have set up a special view screen on each of the trainer platforms. A mini camera will follow your pokemon around while it battles (of course, it’s programmed to back off when a pokemon does an attack) and the view screen will enable trainers to issue commands to their companions via microphone. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to FLYING and ROCK type attacks.

Lizzie stood on the platform, a strong wind constantly blowing hair in her face. This field initially looked suitable for her flying Pokemon, but there were also an abundance of rocks that could be used for her opponent's advantage. Either way, it would be a tricky battle although she had the confidence that she would win this.

Tyalessa looked around at all the rocks, she'd best stick to just issuing attacks without moving around, other wise she will most likely trip. Essa looked a bit worried at her opponents confident face. She clearly had to gain some in order to actually speak. She was in the finals, "No backing down now"

"Okay, the rocky terrain might be more troublesome than our actual opponent, so... i choose you! Mist!" Out from thee pokeball, Mist floated above the rocks easily, and to prove just how highly she thinks of herself, she went through them as well "Well a ghost is a ghost so, now to see who our opponent brings out"  "Okay Mist, you need to make sure you can do as much damage as you can to your opponent because Odin's growlithe feet wont do as well"

One of Lizzie's Pokeball trembled at the thought of being sent out into battle. But even though Psywater's flight would be advantageous, she needed him to sit back for now. Especially when the opponent's first Pokemon was a ghost type and had a natural advantage. "Portal, let's do this." She grabbed her other Pokeball and tossed it into the air. Out came an Umbreon that quickly found footing in a small tree jutting from the cliff wall.  1000/1000 HP

Essa felt like crying, "A dark pokemon, she just had to bring out a dark pokemon"
Mist looked unimpressed at her owners lack of confidence. She had started the sparks flying around her herself. Essa snapped out of her depression when she saw this.
"thats right Mist, tactics and strategic over advantages any day, use thunderbolt"

The Umbreon flinched as she was struck by the bolt of lightning. Electricity surged through her body, paralyzing her muscles. It took all of her strength to stay on the tree and not go tumbling into the depths.
Lizzie figured that the Misdreavus would go for a status infliction first. That's why she came prepared. "Portal, Heal Bell."
Portal could hear her trainer's command loud and clear but executing it was a different matter. A faint ghostly bell materialized in front of her and she tried to ring it with a swipe of her paw.

Mist flew over to the paralysed Umbreon and growl right inher face. Clearly Mist was going to show she wasnt afraid of a dark type pokemon

Portal, being paralyzed still, had no choice but to bear the Growl attack. Lizzie was slightly relieved that the opponent chose to not attack yet, and they could wipe all of her efforts away if she could pull off a Heal Bell.
"Try it again!" She shouted. The shadow of a bell appeared in front of Portal again and she fought her paralysis to ring it.

Essa noticed how hard the Umbreon was trying to get get out of its paralysis, she had to keep it from attacking otherwise Mist would be in big trouble. Odin would be more suited for this pokemon.

Lizzie was still frustrated that Portal remained fully paralyzed. But the Misdreavus's next move may have provided them with what they need, if only Portal could act on it.
"Use Psych Up!" She said. Portal turned her gaze to the ghost Pokemon, her eyes glowly brightly as she synched herself with her opponent.

Finally free from paralysis, Portal leaped to the side to dodge the Thunderbolt. The tree she was on didn't offer much room for acrobatics though, so she almost fell off the side. Only by jumping off the wall and back onto the tree did she manage to stay on solid ground.
"Good job Portal!" Lizzie shouted out. "Get some damage in with Dark Pulse!"
The Umbreon's rings glowed as she built up malignant energy, and then released them as a devastating attack.

Mist went flying back, that attack did some pretty bad damage and it will only get worse if this carries on
