An RP for Abdiel and Sláinte.

A cold breeze trickled like fear down Abdiel's back as he gazed over the plains. Being out in the open wasn't a good idea, but going back would be just as bad. His body was stiff with anticipation, his head ducked, and his ears raised.
They had found him again.
He had narrowly escaped last time. He had been lucky. No, not lucky. It had been pure instinct and adrenaline. He was counting on that this time too.
He turned his head back toward the way he had just come. A breeze brought with it the scent of sweat and blood lust. A branch cracked somewhere in the distance.
Abdiel turned and ran beside the mountains that had been behind him. I few more paces ahead of him was a mountain path that would take him high up into the mountains. He reached the path and let his hooves cary him up, up, up. He turned sharply off the path, into an area of dense trees. Once he was out of sight, he froze and resumed his listening pose.
The hunters were coming. The only thing Abdiel ever feared.
He couldn't smell the hunters anymore, but now a new scent filled his nostrils. Someone else was nearby...

As he walked down the path, he was humming and irish tune. As he walked down, he caught the scent of a different person but thanks to it being one of many many soq., he relaxed and slowly continued.
He hasn't see many others sense he continued his travels through the mountain and he was hoping that he would see his darling sister once more. He never really met her so he really urged himself to do it. He hoped the baskets were doing okay with Lilli sense they haven't popped yet so he wanted to see if he could reach his sister before they pop because he wanted them to meet their new aunt.
Still walking, he ended up meeting another unicorn but with a unicorn tail. Slainte knew he was a full-blood but didn't have the tail. Still, he confronted the male and nodded. "Top of the mornin' to ya! What is a fine feller like yer self doing way up in the mountains?" He said. He was surprised his irish tone got the best of him and chuckled but normally.

With the approach of the male, who seemed very much at ease (which was a little off-putting, considering the circumstances), Abdiel relaxed only slightly. He did not answer the male right away, but stayed listening, straining his ears. Once all was quiet other than the sounds of the trees and the animals, Abdiel finally gave him an answer.
"Morning," he answered. He observed his new companion now, every now and then glancing back the way he had come. This stallion was a unicorn, and that would put them both in danger if the hunters were to find them.
"You might want to keep your voice down," Abdiel replied lightly. "There's hunters." He hated to cause any alarm in someone he had just met, but it couldn't be helped at the moment.
"Is there anyone else with you?" he asked. "I've managed to get away, but I'm sure they're tracking me. If you're traveling with anyone, we'll want to keep moving to safety."

Someone with him? Hunters down the road that lead to his lost sister? It was very surprising but to much on the noggin.
Shaking his head as a "No", it was meaning he was by himself and decided to keep himself quiet. "I am by myself and hunters? I don't know any of those because i live on the other side of the mountain." He replied softly. Hunters that are after after unicorns? He was nervous that they may have captured his sister and got a bit nervous.

It was relieving that there was no one else traveling with him. "Good," Abdiel replied, "we will cause less of a commotion with just the two of us."
Abdiel again perked his ears back in the direction he had come. The hunters were stealthy, so of course they would keep quiet.
"We had better keep moving. Are you traveling to any where specific?" he asked.

"Not really. I have a goal to find my sister down this path but i don't mind making any trips along the way." He said softly once more. (Just quote me now but i won't reply often)

ooc: that's fine. Abdiel eyed the other unicorn for a moment. "Is your sister a unicorn as well?" he asked. It may have seemed like a silly question, but he felt that it was important. If she had a horn, she would be in danger.
Just then a scent caught Abdiel's attention.
"Let's move," he advised. He began making his way down the path and through the trees. Hopefully they would be able to loose the hunters eventually.

Nodding, he hopped to see her. As he followed, he wondered what hunters were.

Abdiel's instincts were quickly carrying him from the scene, weaving in and out through the trees, and trying to find a path that led to safety. His companion was following, but he didn't seem to have the same sense of urgency. It struck Abdiel as very odd, especially since he had mentioned that he had a sister who was a unicorn as well. She might be in danger.
Abdiel had a moment where he wondered if his urgency made him look afraid. He wasn't afraid. Not in a childish way, like one who is afraid of what might come out of the dark. He was courageous, and strong, but he was also smart. Hunters would do anything it took to get ahold of a unicorn's horn. The fact that there weren't many hunters left in the land today made the ones that still hunted that much more worse. They were the few, the ruthless, and the soulless. Abdiel wanted to be as far away from them as possible. He also wanted to protect those in his path.
"Which way to your sister?" he asked over his shoulder, still running.
