I'm going to begin watching Soul Eater. Apparently, if I don't, Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy will punch me in the groin.

It's pretty baller if you like halloween type themes and overall just great art. The characters I thought were all really enjoyable. I'm not too picky with that kind of stuff, though.
I'm trying to get into the manga because the anime was quite short... but I have a gigantic backlog, so I don't know what the heck I am doing. Little time from work, just wanting to relax lately. As I do so, amazing things pile up one after another and new releases are coming out weekly.
But if you're going to get into it, it's definitely worth it in my opinion.

Who's making you watch it? o:
Soul Eater was hard for me to get into, the characters just..... aren't likable. D: ttly just my opinion though. I might like it if I pick it up again.

I thought you would have liked it. =o Oh u. There's nothing real abstract to it you know? It's like... really simple. I agree that the characters are all really just.... kinda cliche and overdone to an extent. @Zeph: Maka gets annoying too. If anything I disliked her most as I watched it. I may have a different opinion on Manga. That was a good few years back come to think of it. It was all "Oos and Ahhs" but like... the only thing that really stood out was Maka just being like a turbo downer.

@Brase: Pretty much. And I don't mind that, but the execution isn't good. It's also really disappointing that you have this creepy setting but nothing remotely creepy is happening. All that exists is angst, fanservice, lousy gags and dull antagonists that play villain of the week in a feeble attempt to make the main characters seem halfway interesting.

It's interesting to me you say that. smile I suppose I am looking at things from a different view. I can really see where you're coming from, though. When you think about it that way all is true. I only did watch the anime, so I know nothing of what's beyond it but from what I did see I personally thought it was pretty neatly put together. To each his/her own, though. surprised
