Deep in the forests of the world, The packs rule the land. Long ago the humans agreed to let the packs keep the woods in exchange for safety. Man did not keep his promises. Over the centuries man and his kind have killed wolves and destroyed forests, leveled the land and claimed it for his own selfish heart. That heart with a bottomless hole it in. Even now in this day and age, when many packs have forever fallen silent, Man continues to break his promises and take from the land all that he wants. The few of his children that try to give back are often silenced…permanently.
For one of the last packs of the north, the winter is coming, and winters are always harsh in this part of the north, the bitter cold unrelenting, the game even more so. And This year a son of man is joining this pack of the north. He is a pup, a wolf, but he is also not a wolf. He has…features of something else. He has found himself in the den of the pack laying next to the alpha female. He’s barely old enough to walk on his own, and there’s no sign of a mother. So The alpha female is stuck with him, his scent so familiar and yet so alien to her. She’s stuck with a pup she doesn’t want, doesn’t love, and isn’t prepared to raise, and by order of the pack elders, she can’t leave him to die.
This is the story Of her life, His life, and the life of their pack in the harshest coldest winter in a century.

This rp will start out as a 1x1 roleplay, but will grow if more active members send in profiles.
No auto kills, no auto dodging, no automatic hitting. No godmodding.

This is about a pack of normal wolves who have to take in a strange pup who is not only not a normal wolf, but is actually a genetically engineered hybrid of wolf and pill bug, placed among the pack by a human who is of no consequence and will not show up in the rp.

Bio: Created in a biotech lab, Multi is a genetically engineered hybrid of wolf and pill bug. He’s been left with the pack as part of an experiment, this fact is of no consequence. All he knows is he has a momma now, and he needs her.

Appearance: She is large for a female. Her eyes are a striking yellow and she has a thick, tan, brown and black fur. She has a piece of her ear missing due to a fight when she was younger. Rieshe has a large, round kind looking face but her eyes show determination and authority.
Gender: Female
Age: Three years
Bio: She was born into the pack she now governs. She rose through the ranks where she soon caught the attention of the Alpha Male. They mated but when she gave birth, her litter had died. To add to her misfortune, her mate was killed by man and she now governs the pack. Along with her misfortunes, her heart has grown cold and usually denies the mating from other interested males. It is now a full year where she has ruled by herself.

Appearance: A pup twice as big as other pups his age, with a hard bump on top of his nose, and limbs that are thicker and stronger than a normal pup his age. His fur is a slate grey. The bump on top of his nose will one day become a horn.

Bio: Created in a biotech lab, Plow is a genetically engineered hybrid of wolf and rhinoceros. He’s genetically Multi’s brother. And He just like his brother multi, and their other siblings, they all know their momma. Even though she doesn’t know them, they know her, by scent, by sight, and even by the sound of he heart beat. She doesn’t know this, But they are the pups she thought died. They were saved by man’s technology, altered, and returned to her. One humans good deed. One man deciding to give something back.

Bio: She’s genetically Multi’s sister. And she just like her brother multi, and their other siblings, they all know their momma. Even though she doesn’t know them, they know her, by scent, by sight, and even by the sound of he heart beat. She doesn’t know this, But they are the pups she thought died. They were saved by man’s technology, altered, and returned to her. One humans good deed. One man deciding to give something back. Raza is a hybrid of great white shark and wolf.

Appearance: She is a light gray wolf with vibrant blue eyes. She is smaller than most of her other female comrades. She has a few black lines in her fur along her neck, ears and back of her legs.

Bio: She was born in the pack, she has known nothing else. She dreams of having pups of her own, but has yet to attract a mate. For now, she takes care of the pups of other females while they hunt or get much needed rest. She absolutely respects Rieshe and would do anything for her Alphess.

Name: Hahnu.
Rank within the pack: Hunter. But often labelled by others as Omega-like.
Appearance: Hahnu is a rather large male wolf. His golden eyes hold an intense gaze, particularly when focused on prey. The warm tan fur covering his body is tipped by darker colors, making his coat seem shadowed. He is largely unmarred by battle scars and the like.
Gender: Male.
Age: Three.
Bio: Hahnu was born to the pack, from the same litter as Rieshe. He is far from dominant, but cannot be classified as submissive either. He is the f*ck-up of the pack: he tends to do what he wants, when he wants, and doesn't always follow his sister's command. The only reason he is still allowed to be a member is because of his loving, yet domineering sister. He will protect her and her status to the end of his days, always looking out for her best interests, even if she doesn't see them herself.
Itus has been Hahnu's mate for almost a year now. Hahnu was originally with another male when Itus arrived and thus Itus had to fight for Hahnu's attention. They have been nearly inseparable since. Hahnu would give his life for Itus or Rieshe, though hopefully it will never come to that.

Appearance: He is a black wolf with a few streaks of dark brown in his coat. His eyes are a striking gold. His fur is thick and long, giving him a nice buffer against the cold in which he lives in. He has a good amount of scars littering his body, to show of his worth and prowess in the field.
Gender: Male
Age: Three 1/2 years
Bio: He was born in a southern pack, that is why his coat is such a dark color. As man continued to destroy the land, his pack had to keep moving up north until they finally meshed in with Rieshe's pack. He is an oddball with his dark coloring. He is more of an oddball due to his odd sexuality. He has fallen for the Alphess's brother. He naturally integrated easily in the pack, as everyone was fleeing from man. However, he had to fight for Hahnu's attention. Itus has been Hahnu's mate for nearly a year. He doesn't attempt to hide it and has no shame about his relationship.

Name: Razor Bristle, also known as Razor for short.

Appearance: Razor is a hulking slate grey male wolf about twice the size of a normal adult male wolf, with a tail as long as his body. He has a single row of bone armor following his spine from his head to the tip of his tail, and his eyes are a deep white in coloration, though he is not blind. He has a bony spike on each elbow and heel. His claws are thick and powerful though short, and His fur is thick and shaggy, giving him an even gruffer appearance. His left shoulder still carries the battle scars from a fight with a bear that occurred before he met his Mate, Rieshe. His eyes weren’t always white, though they were once a light grey color.

Bio: Razor was once a normal wolf, and a happy father of five beautiful pups. But then one night everything changed. His mate left to get a drink and a human somehow got into the den and took the pups. Razor gave chase, but he only ended up caged by Man. He found himself in the same condition as his pups: experimented on, in pain, and mutated altered by humans. For almost a year he struggled for his freedom, and one day he awoke to find himself free, in the snow on the edge of his packs territory. Now He is returning, and he is ready to reclaim his rightful place as the alpha male.

Appearance: Ro has an average build for a warrior like wolf, though that doesn't keep him down. Ro's fur is brown with a tint of cherry red. Ro also has 4 piercings, two on each ear. The piercings serve as trackers, so the humans can keep track of the pack.
Gender: Male
Age: 4
Bio: Ro found the pack by random due to his old pack dying off by some plague. As Ro lived with the pack, the born members of the pack became weary of him, because of his strange personality , and his nickname "Voodoo". So Ro decided to opt his way out to become a warrior to gain respect from within the pack. And so his story begins.

The femme stared at the elders in disbelief. Her hackles were raised, teeth showing, showing defiance. "You expect me to take care of this... thing?" Her yellow eyes went to the creature before back at the Elders. She was about to speak again but an elder interrupted her. He spoke about the hospitality to the pup and how he could somehow be a key to progress. Rieshe, though an Alpha, still had to bow down the the Elders, as they were the judging call on most affairs. She bowed her head, ears pinned. She looked once more at the creature, yellow eyes cold. It was to be her son. Rieshe peered once more at the Elders before turning, walking away, hackles still raised. "Come along then. Keep up," her voice was sharp.

"Momma..." Little Multi said as he tried To follow. His twelve legs uncoordinated. He was slow for now following her. "Momma..." He said again, as he tried to keep up. He slowly gained enough control over his twelve pup legs to move well on them, slowly gaining on her.

It sickened her. The fact the twelve-legged mutant was calling her 'momma'. She could hear the thing struggling behind her but she did not slow down, did not offer her aid. She continued to walk, almost hoping she would lose the pup. Rieshe remembered it was called Multi. She was lost in her thoughts when she heard small shuffling beside her. The Alphess looked down to see that the pup was now at her side. Her nose wrinkled, show the tip of a white fang. It was her responsibility now, she had to take care of it or else she would be punished.
With a small growl she padded over to her den, laying down. It was starting to snow, she knew it would be once again a cold night. Rieshe thought she should call the pack to the cave, so they could sleep together and keep each other warm. First, she needed to figure out what she would do with this... 'pup'. "Are you hungry?" Her voice held no care, no mercy.

"Momma...My Momma..." Little Multi said with his eyes closed as he snuggled against her side. She may not have liked him, But he already loved her. He just cuddled up to her and snuggled, trying to stay warm.

Rieshe shied away from him but realized that if he were to live, she must share his warmth. With a small growl, she offered the warmth of her side and belly, ears once more pinned to her skull. "Is that all you know? 'Momma'? Do you speak? Can you communicate?" She asked with aggravation. Rieshe looked down at him, hackles once more bristling. He looked foreign but he did not smell foreign, his scent had something that was very familiar. But to what?
She looked to the opening of her den, watching the snow fall. She should pick up the creature and go to the cave but she would have to carry him, the snow was starting to build. It was too late to call the pack, it would put the weak, young and old in danger of getting sick. She could not afford to lose any more wolves. She would call the pack tomorrow and demand they all share the cave.
Looking down at Multi, her nose curled again. She could not help it. "Answer me, pup."

The odd pup looked up at her curiously, thinking. After a moment or two he said, "Multi love Momma!" and he used his longer body length to very effectively climb up onto her side were as a normal pup wouldhave needed her help to do that. He then moved as best he could toward her head and cuddled before he slipped down to the ground and was sent tumbling. Only when he stopped she would see that he was actually curled up into a near perfect ball. Then after a moment or two he uncurled and shuffled back to her side for warmth. "Multi Love Momma. Momma the best in whole world..." and he cuddled up against her.

Rieshe almost stood up, but stayed down, tense as the creature started to climb her. When the got near her head, he tumbled down. When he stopped moving, she saw him curled into a ball. Her ears perked up slightly, watching the thing with yellow eyes. It was not moving. Somewhat worried, the Alphess started to stand but the pup moved and came back. She laid back down carefully, watching the thing as it started to talk. She listened before growling.
"That is not how we talk," there was no need to say his name. "You say I, not Multi." She looked down at him, ears still pinned against her skull. How was she going to govern a pack when she had this creature? Her wolves would most likely revolt from it.

Multi looked up at his momma and was about to answer her, but then a familiar voice said, "Multi!" Multi turned and looked to see a larger bulkier pup. "Plow! I missed you!" Then the two pups started play wrestling and tumbling; playing. After a moment or two of this, The two looked at her and said, "I love you momma!" Then the two snuggled against her and continued to play within a foot of her. It was clear they knew each other, It was clear these two were brothers, though they looked almost nothing alike. They both would smell familiar to her, and yet so strange. But that scent of familiarity would not go away.

Rieshe stood when she saw someone unfamiliar come into her den, she almost attacked if it were not for her adopted pup. They seemed to know each other. Her hackles raised when the new addition called her mother as well. He smelled familiar like Multi did. She snarled at the pup, scooting away from them. She separated the two playing pups and loomed over the pup called Plow. "Who are you? Where did you come from?" Her yellow orbs went to the mouth of the cave, "How did you survive the storm?"

Plow wimpered as She took such agreesive action. "I'm Plow. Multi My brother. I came from you. And It warm out there." Then he looked up at her as his eyes widened and his ears drooped, "You don't wemember? Multi, Me, Raza, Tricks, and Red, we came from you Momma."
Multi sniffed and his ears drooped as he realized Momma didn't recognize them.

Rieshe listened to the pup intently. She then snarled, "How dare you make these accusations! You monsters never came from my belly!" The moment those words were spoken, she was hit with some sort of picture. It took over her senses, sight, smell and touch. Rieshe all of a sudden was in the past.
It was early winter and she was ripe with pregnancy. She laid in the den she created with her mate, her stomach contracting and pain filling her body. Within hours she was blessed with five beautiful, healthy and strong cubs. Her mate returned to see the rewards of his seed. She had born two males and three females. They were unnamed but Rieshe already had an idea. One of the male pups was pure white, from her mate's side of the family. The other male was slate gray, looking already like his father. Two of the females looked like her, their coats brown with some additions of black and tan. The other female was gray, with white paws. They were all so beautiful and her heart was filled with warmth and love as the cubs suckled and her mate licked her head lovingly.
Rieshe shuddered, shaking her head violently. She looked at Plow once more, her once warm yellow eyes now cold as the snow outside. His coloring matched one of her pups but he was not hers. Her pups had been beautiful, had been normal. "You did not come from me, Pup. I am only adopting you." She replied with a pathetic growl before laying down once more, resting her maw on her paws.

Plow looked heartbroken. Then he looked mad. "You are Our Momma! We heard your heart beat, your voice, And then monster took us from you. Monster taller than momma, thin, walk on two legs. Monster hurt us. Monster change us. Monster leave us in snow. You Are our Momma!" and then he started to whine, "Why don't you wemember us?! We wemember you!" Then Multi spoke, "All We thought about, while monster hurt us, and while monster changed us, was you Momma."
