The sky was clear, with the exception of a few white patches of fluffy cotton that dotted the horizon. There was a light breeze, just enough to stop the the fair from feeling stuffy and enough that when Habika twirled in her dress it still flowed. She was on a mission, to find a new pinwheel! Or..something shiny to replace it.
Skipping along she looked at some of the venues trying to find something that perhaps she could give to Garvan, the spearow who had really been interested in her pinwheel and candy. Maybe he would like some more candy. Nah he seemed to like the shinies more, so she would spend what meager amount of her allowance to get him something nice. Blake too! As he was her bestest friend. Should she get something for Heath? And Trinity?
Listing off her long list of friends she opened her little coin purse only to discover that quite frankly she didn't have enough money to spend on ALL of her friends. Maybe she should ...just choose one? But how could she choose? She really liked ALL her friends!

Calcifer grinned as she trotted off towards the fair. Ever since she had grown into this pokechild...thing, she had become much happier. She could live her life how she pleased, her father was back, and she was making a decent amount of coin giving raft rides to people who needed a way to travel down the river at a safer speed. Now it was time to take a holiday and spend some of her extra pocket money, and what better place then at a fair!
Calcifer had heard many things from passers by and people she had given rides to about these fair things. Apparently they were great fun, and Calcifer wanted to see it for herself.
She was so shocked when she arrived at all the different things that were there that she just stood there with her mouth agape, awestruck by it all.

Habika hadn't even gotten to the ride portion on the fair, she was still looking over the home made jams, the needle point and all the neat crafty stuff! And when she had gone around the corner she had left this section of the fair and found the ANIMALS!
She spent perhaps way too much time at the rabbits, they were so cute and fluffy and small! Though they did have some really big ones! They looked almost as big as some dogs. Then there were pugs and horses and goats! It was like being at a farm!
Full of excitement she soon found herself standing amongst the milling people gaping at the rides. She had a handful of tickets in her pockets, as well a bag full of marbles that she had decided to buy so she could share them with all her friends. It was amidst her thinking of what color marble to give to what friend that she almost ran into another poke-child.
"Oh! I am sorry," She apologized a bit too cheerfully.

Calcifer was quickly thrown from her stupor at the near collision. She looked at the girl for a few moments. She was awfully pink for a human, but then again what did she know?
"Oh! It's not your fault..." she said, "I should have been paying more attention! It's just..." she paused and looked around at everything again. "I've never been to one of these things before...I don't know where to start!" she said before looking back to the girl.
"Oh, how rude of me. I'm Calcifer, but everyone calls me Calci! It's nice to meet you!" she said, remembering that people liked it when you told them your name.

Habika didn't take long to figure out that Calcifer or rather Calci was going to be another friend! She giggled as the other explained how she had just felt moments ago before meeting the girl.
"It's really nice to meet you too! My name is Habika...everyone calls me..." There was a pause...what..did people call her? Well Blake often called her clingon....did that count as a nickname? She didn't think so.
"Well everyone just calls me Habika. " She replied with a nod of her head, she then took Calcifur's hand and pointed to the nearest ride. The tea cups. She wasn't exactly sure what it did but they were giant tea cups and they looked really cool.
"Come on lets try that one!"

"It's nice to meet you Habika!" she chirped happily.
Cali looked at the..thing. She had no idea what the heck it was. She had never seen one before. It seemed like people were riding on it, spinning about and such.
"What is it exactly?" she asked, looking at Habika, the look on her face being one of confusion.

Habika laughed and then shrugged taking Calcifer's hand in her own before tugging her towards the line up for the the ride. She was already pulling out her tickets and sectioning off enough to use for the both of them.
"I am not sure, but look!" Habika was excited as she pointed, her finger showing that the ride had started and how it was beginning to spin. "They are definitely sitting in giant tea cups! Isn't that so cool!?" She exclaimed as her eyes were glued on the machine.
Having never been on any ride of any sort she felt her excitement begin to grow and grow.
"Have you ever been on one before?" She inquired to Cali expectantly.

Calcifer shook her head, feeling really stupid now. She was somewhat knowledgable, but she did live her life in a cave before she changed after all.
"I...I don't even know what a teacup is..." she addmitted sadly. "So I'm pretty sure I've never sat on one... This is my first time being somewhere so far from my home..." she said with a sigh.
"It looks like a fun ride though. Spinning is always fun!" she said, quickly cheering up. "I never got to do it much before I changed, but besides taking a swim, it was one of the first things I did!" She chuckled a bit.

Oh this poor girl! She must experience everything with her! This was something Habika decided to do to show Calcifer the fair and all the rides! She'd have enough tickets so that was all that mattered. She recalled when she was a pokemon, all the other pokemon always looked after her, making sure she didn't get too lost or in too much trouble. Now that she was human Blake did that for her, or Heath though at the moment it was just her and this nice fun new friend!
"Well let's go on it! I bet we can make it spin really really really fast!" Habika declared as she grabbed Calcifer's hand and pulled her towards the line up. Luckily this particular ride wasn't too popular and thus they didn't have to wait long.
Habika never let go of her new friends hand, chattering about Blake her bestest friend about Heath who rescued her in the forest and then pulling them both into giant tea cups and closing the door behind them.
"You ready?"

It was nice being dragged along and chatted. Calcifer never really got to have many friends before, due to being made of pure lava, but now lots of people where much nicer to her, and she liked that a lot.
She smiled as she got into the ride with the other girl and nodded. "As ready as I am going to be" she said with a slight chuckle
