The bar dominates the entire first floor of the building. A stairway descends into a pit dance floor where strobe lights and mist create a hypnotic arena for dance. The third floor is for VIP use only and has private rooms, a dance floor, and hot tub area.

Roxi is a spunky red head with a fondness for shot guns and candy. She has no qualms with visitors so long as they pay their dues, but is not beyond kicking someone out on their bumb.

Welcome to Roxi's!

Morgaine Bryne
Care to join me for a round?

[[Enter from wherever she was before....]]

Roxi's was already in full swing after Morgaine clocked in. It was early, but a few regulars had already claimed the bar stools where she worked. In this bar, her cosmos were legendary, and the tips got bigger as the night grew older and she showed a bit more skin. Waving at a few close co-workers, the Celt slipped into the back and pulled on her extremely tight and low cut Roxi's Bar t-shirt which managed to show off her midriff and still conceal what was necessary. A quick change from her dance pants to tight jeans and boots, and she was ready for the nightly mixing. Already her order tab had six shots, a screw driver, and the old Arnold. The music hit a high note and her night officially began.

"Heya dollface, how ya been?" Roger, a regular smiled at her from his seat in front of the bar. "Not too bad Roger." Morgaine replied, handing him a Guinness. It was already getting hot in the bar. Sighing, she tied up her dark hair into a ponytail and headed back to work. It was going to get busy real soon.

[Enter Aiden O'Connor from Wayne Manor]

The young Irishman had entered New York not long after leaving Gotham. He found an abandoned bicycle that seemed to be in good condition, so he used that to get ahead of the clogged-up traffic of Manhattan and follow the odd... signal in his head, he supposed, to wherever he was going. He wound up in front of Roxxi's. He'd never seen this place, and when he stepped inside, he looked around, not too impressed with the strobe lights and the steam and all that on the dance floor below him...

And then he saw a woman serving drinks; skintight clothing and dark hair, very beautiful... and that signal in his head started going nuts. Whoever this chick was, she had to be important. So he strode over to the woman, looking cocky with a big grin on his face, and took a free stool.

"Hey, barkeep!" he said, his heavily Gaelic accent coming through. "Gimme a Kilkenny if ya got any, would ya? Cuid mhaith d'oibleagáid ort!"

((Translation: "Much obliged to you!"))

Morgaine flashed the newcomer a wide smile, they were reserved for attractive men, and this guy fit the bill. Turning her back, she poured the brew and allowed the beverage to froth a bit, before sliding the glass to Aiden. "Welcome to Roxi's. Never seen you here before, you new in town?" Her own Gaelic accent remained masked with a light Brooklyn mask. The Voice was telling her that this guy was important, that she knew him and could trust him. That was enough for her to keep origins hidden and act like any old curious bar tender. What the Voice wanted, Morgaine was loathe to give.

"Yeah, lass. Never been here in New York b'fore, but I've been in America for a few months," Aiden said, adjusting his flat-cap a bit. "Seen some crazy stuff, too. People flyin', shooting fire and lightnin' from their hands; it's enough to drive a man to drink!" he joked, raising the glass in a toast. "Nice t' see another Celt around! Haven't seen a genuine one lately, but a bunch'a fool who say they're Irish... and they ain't from the island! Naturally, I kicked their arses. Ya don't wanna mess with the Dublin Destroyer!" he said, drinking the glass empty in five seconds flat. He set it down and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand.

Inwardly she frowned. How had he known she was Irish? "Well, once you see a dashing man in bright red bloomers, ye've seen it all." The mask dropped and her Irish lit was revealed. "Can't say I'm disappointed in meetin' the man who's got the Isle raisin' a ruckus. I'd love to learn that left hook of yours." Morgaine was all smiles, handing Aiden another beer. She leaned forward on the counter, well aware that she was displaying quite a bit of cleavage from the action. "Now wot is a famous boy like you doin' in this sorta place? I'm sure the Ritz has a few nice brandy choices on hand."

Aiden grinned, his eyes flitting downward to look at Morgaine's bosom and then back up to look at her face.

"Well... See, I'm the adventurin' type. Past few months I've been all over the East Coast of the United States," he said, downing his second shot. "The Ritz? C'mon babe, I'm the best fighter in Ireland, not a movie star," he continued, grinning still. "I bet I can best anyone here in a bare-knuckle fight out'n th' back. Care to place a wager, lass?"

"Tell ya wot." Morgaine was smiling with genuine excitement. "If I can stand against you for a few minutes, then the great Dublin Destroyer will owe me a dance and pint." There was a teasing, but serious glint in the Irishwomen's eyes. Taking on this man would just make her night. Close contact with a guy who looked like that was something of a godsend to her. *And maybe the night will amount to a bit more personal means of physical exertion...* That was, if the Voice decided to shut up for a while and Morgaine could flirt without advice coming from the thing.

Aiden grinned. "Got it," he said, and he got up and cracked his knuckles. "Lead th' way, beautiful," he said, being the shameless flirt he was.

"Wait..." he continued. "If you lose the wager, well... I get free rounds when I come in from then on. And maybe afterwards we can go... somewhere more private."

"Oh you'll get no fight for me there, that'll happen whether I win or not." She flashed a wicked grin and slid over the counter. "Heya Si! Take my rounds for a mo' will ya?!" Morgaine didn't wait for a reply and led Aiden to the side hall hidden beside the bar. She turned to glance back at him and winked. "This way boyo." Flirtatious waves rolled off of her as she headed down the hall and exited to the back alley.

Aiden grinned widely to himself; he grinned even wider when he got a good look at Morgaine's curvaceous rear end. He followed her out, stretching a little bit and mentally preparing himself, and then took his stance opposite her.

"Alright..." he said. "Bein' a nice Dublin gentleman, I'll let ya have th' first punch," he said, his voice filled with cockiness. He'd met a few tough Irish girls in his time-- and lived with three-- but he was a little full of himself.

"Why than ye." Morgaine had no qualms with fighting cold, in fact, she thought it added some fun to the game. She cocked her head to one side, her smile fading. Now, how was she going to land a few hits on this guy? Well, best to test the waters. She opted for a simple right hook and uppercut combination, nothing too fancy. She was smaller and lighter than he was, so speed and mobility were on her side.

Aiden was able to react fast enough to dodge the hook, but the uppercut caught him square in the chin and he stumbled back slightly. He wasn't that much bigger than Morgaine; he was taller by a measly two inches and whatnot. And he could be pretty quick when he really needed to be.

"Not bad... but that wasn't a punch. This is a punch!" he said, sending a nasty right hook Morgaine's way with surprising speed.

The right hook came swinging at her and the Voice nudged her to move back. Naturally she ignored it and raised her left to block the hit, feeling a jarring sensation as their arms collided. There would be bruises tomorrow. She parried with a left hook at his side. *That'd woulda hurt...* she thought, laughing as she swung, "Sorry, I don't box too often. A punch from me must feel like a pillow hittin' ye."

The blow hit Aiden's side, and he barely flinched. The booze in his system had upped his durability to currently-peak-human levels. If he had gotten anything heavier, his durability during the fight would have been superhuman.

"Lotta people are like that, actually," Aiden said conversationally, going for a knee to Morgaine's stomach.
