Sunset's Coda trotted over a ridge and gave a joyous sound that echoed in the spring air. She'd just come from catching up with her mother. Apparently the family had grown. She was an aunt. Her brother had a family now. Coda had taken the chance to try and catch up while away from Illarion. Her mate knew that she'd be back sooner than later and understood that she needed these small periods of time to herself. Just thinking of the stallion that stole her heart caused a smile to appear. Illarion was everything that she'd hoped that she could find true love in.
Coda glanced behind her shoulder judging the distance she'd traveled. The journey would take her a few days longer to return home but she couldn't miss this opportunity to see for herself the newest additions to her familial lineage. Now where exactly did she have to travel to again? Coda racked her mind for the directions that Echo had given her before sighing. Ah yes. Back on track the mare continued at an easy canter. She'd find her brother's family soon enough she hoped.
