✥Hair style: Azura's hair is cut short at her chin where it gently curls inward and clings to her cheeks. Two long strands of hair reach down to her knees and end in but two long strands reach down to her knees and end in a round, flat tuft of hair decorated with circular rings of blue and gold. The decorative motifs aren't natural,but the shape of the strands are since they are a defining feature of Azura's race.

Family
Azura was born in one of the most influential family of her people. Her father was a High Marshall by inheritance though his daily duties consisted of chatting with the upper class families of their community and attending diplomatic banquets between sister communities. In other words, partying the old fashioned way. He was a man that enjoyed extravagance and loved to flaunt his riches and his trophy wife though he does have the tact to fulfill his duty properly.

As for Azura's mother, she was an adviser who acted as the wise woman amongst the upper class and was known for her beauty and grace. She, too, was very influential since she held the most knowledge about their race's origin and powers, but enjoyed sleeping around a bit too much. Though she is aware that her husband does not mind her immoral behavior, they have an agreement to keep his acceptance a secret for the sake of personal entertainment and having fearful suitors groveling at their feet.

Azura also has two younger twin sisters and an older brother. She soon found out that she got along better with her brother because he would teach her some fancy moves if she annoyed him enough by mixing odd herbs with his facial masks. He had learned the hard way that it was the only way to get her off his case and it wasn't as though he really had to put much effort into it. He simply needed to perform a move and tell Azura to practice until she could do the same before strutting away to woo another congregation of lady or men alike.

The twins are more of a pain, really. They tended to team up together and hunt Azura down under mother's directives. If there was one practical thing they were good at, hunting would be it and their teamwork was topnotch for their age. Whenever Azura caused trouble, they were the dogs sent out to fetch her and she often had to resort to violence to escape their clutches, but they were tenacious and only came back with a vengeance. They were mommy's obedient little girls that spent their days dressing up and brushing their hairs whenever they weren't on Azura's heels. What people did not see was their mischievousness and sadism that made them the ideal children of the family.

Birth & Infancy
Azura was born at midnight exactly, on the night of the Walpurgis between April 30th and May 1st on the night when witches would gather. This was seen as an omen for the child's potential in magic and the prediction was dead on even if the Peafowl Demon people were not exactly known for their magical advancements. Indeed, for centuries, Azura's kin had only focused on developing one branch of magic, that of illusions, a branch in which they excelled in to the detriment of all other types of magic.

Illusions came naturally to her. At the age of a few month, Azura had managed to conjure her first illusion in the form of a shimmering white cloud of smoke. It wasn't anything solid or definite, but conjuring it in her cradle had been a surprising feat, something her parents did not hesitate to brag about. However, their bragging rights were soon taken away as Azura grew up to be the opposite of what they wanted her to be.

Childhood
A proper child of the Flavian family was expected to spend more time grooming and maintaining appearances than anything else, but that wasn't in Azura's list of priority. Instead of attending beauty pageants with girls her age, she would dress up as boys of the lower social classes and participate in brawls. It wasn't as though she was particularly good at it and usually came back home covered in scratches and bruises (Aha! finally something to do with all that make-up!), but it made her happy.

The only thing she and her parents agreed on and bonded with were her illusion classes. They were the only lessons she would willingly go to and were used as bribe material. As for the rest...she usually played hooky and spent her time exploring every crook and cranny of the stuffy city which lead to epic parkour races all over the place with her two sisters.

Teenage years to now

With every day, she grew more daring and soon, slipped out of the city's confines. Once out of her parent's reach, she discovered a whole new world, one that was so different from hers in a good way. She soon learned to love these creatures known as humans and would slip out more often than not. However, such trips were taboo and when she was discovered, her family was shamed and she was to be punished.

Fearing execution, on the eve of her 56th birthday, Azura made a break for it and left her people for good. With little more than a few set of clothes and some magical herbs, the young Peafowl Demon set out to discover a world she had scarcely heard of. She traveled as a stowaway on trading ships, making use of her illusionary powers to put on shows to sustain herself. It was a hard life since she had had to survive on her own but it drilled much needed discipline into her. She was discovered a few times, but had managed to convince the sailors to allow her to work for her food.

Before long, she grew tired of life at sea and settled in Europe where she had originated under a human guise, but it wasn't long before she caught wind of a school for the magically inclined. Seeing this as an opportunity to learn and be who she is, Azura joined Fuyu Academy with little more than the clothes she has and a stubborn thirst for knowledge.

✿Illusions:

• Projection: As the name indicates, these are images visible to all that she projects. Due to her inexperience, they are flat, two-dimensional things that have no presence or smell (sounds are still possible). They cannot inflict physical damage and are usually only good for distractions or confusing enemies.
  
• Induction: These illusions are much tricker as they involve channeling images and sensation directly into one's mind. However, the types of images she can summon to harm others are limited to objects of creatures that will inflict the damage. For instance, she cannot make her victim believe that their arm fell off, instead, she needs to create the image of a sword cutting off the arm. To cast such a spell, Azura needs to make eye contact with her victim and she is limited to affecting one person at a time with these types of illusions though she can still use projections at the same time. These are the types of illusions that may actually do physical harm as they affect one's brain directly and the latter is forced to make the body replicate wounds. The only way to break through these illusions is to either find some major flaw or inconsistency or knock the caster or the victim out.

• In her demon form, her skin darkens considerably to the point that she may be mistaken for someone of African descent while a bright red line curves down from the outer extremities of each one of her eyes along her cheekbones. Her ears become pointed and her nails grow into sharp, inch long black talons. The canine teeth of her upper and lower jaws sharpen into pearly white fangs, contrasting with her black lips. As for her hair, it turns into a plumage of turquoise with her 2 ornated strands shortening and poking backwards from her head like antennas near her ears.

✿Animal Form

• Takes the form of an adolescent tan peahen. She is a normal animal in every way except that she retains her mind and consciousness.
  
• Takes an hour before she can switch form
  
• Her magical and demonic presence cannot be sensed in this form.

✿Sorcery: Her ability to make use of sorcery is currently limited to weather control as she has never taken any lessons on the subject. She can only summon strong gusts of winds and thunderstorms though the latter require a good five minutes of preparation time and much concentration, making her an open target.
✿Soul Consumption: Being a demon, what she usually feeds on are souls. She can only eat souls of the deceased though and ghosts since she has no way of separating souls from their material body except from killing the body. Though she can live off other things when not in demon form, eating souls replenishes her energy and accelerates the healing process of her body. However, it also increases her blood lust. Fortunately, she finds the act repulsive and only considers it as a last resort.
