Shikon is out in the mountains exploring a bit as she was bored a bit with things and wanted to see if she could find something fun and new to do. Seeing she isn't in the mountain areas a lot something new is something that should be easy to find. Now to find out if something new can be fun. Maybe we could even find a new friend or something. She isn't looking for love seeing she is listening to her father who once told her that love is best when it finds you.
Though she isn't sure if it will find her seeing she is always traveling about. But that is who she is. Always looking for fun and new friends. She likes to find others that she can claim worthy of her loyalty. Which is only a few outside of her family.

As the day broke, Kanic was excited to get up today, even more than normal. His plans had him heading down the mountain today, on a search for something. He had heard that there was some interesting things to be found at the mountain base. A few friends had found beadwork, some anklets, and even a necklace. Kanic was hoping to to find something down there.
He stretched his wings, nudged his 'eye' and rose for the morning, hoping down ledges, making his way to the base. As he descended, he noticed a mare that he had never seen before. "What is she doing here?" he asked himself. He know just about ever other mare and stallion who would travel this area, or at least he thought he did. He glanced a few times, and hopped to a ledge below her. He had a plan, and he didnt really want to deviated from his plan, but he couldn't help but to continue to glance at her.

Shikon heard sounds as she turns a bit seeing the stallion. She stretches out her wings and then folds them to her sides again. She notices that the stallion is glancing at her. She then turns to face him and bows after all he might be from these mountains. She isn't from them. She is from a forest close to hot springs. That might be why she loves water so much. If ever hurt she would rest in the hot springs and let them take her pain and soreness away. Once done with the bow she stands straight still watching the stallion. It shows that she is alert when she doesn't know those around her.
She is a mare who can more then take care of herself as she wonders why she is being looked at. This is the first time she has ever had a stallion glance at her so. But she can't help thinking that he is a good looking Stallion. Not sure if she should continue up the mountain or wait until the stallion makes a move.

Kanic watched carefully, keeping his eyes on her, even with her glance. He didnt want to turn away, because that coudl be taken as a sign of weakness. He was cautious to make any steps towards her, mostly for fear of spooking her. He wanted to show that he was stern, not not overpowering, unless he was provoked.
As the mare began to bend down and bow, Kanic let out a soft chuckle. He'd never had anyone feel they needed to bow to him. He wasn't anyone special, but maybe she was intimidated by him. He stood, and as the mare got up, he decided to speak. "There is no need to bow," he started off, "What brings you here?"

"I bow to show respect. It is something my father taught me. I am just exploring seeing that I am bored today. Are you from these parts?" She trots up to Kanic and then circle's him. "You are like my mother. Seeing you have Unicorn in you. And it shows." She points out as she stops in her tracks watching him. This stallion is just too good to be true is what is running through her mind right now as she rolls her eyes thinking that he might be taken. All the good ones normally are. She lets out a sigh.
"I am Shikon. It means Jewel and may I ask for your name?" Standing there looking at him still. "You are a very handsome looking Stallion. I am shocked I haven't seen you before. But that is maybe because this is my first time in this mountain area."

"There's no need for it here though... really." Kanic said to the mare. He stood for a moment after speaking, watching intently. "I come from up a few ledges." he said. As the mare trots closer, Kanic tenses up, ready for a fight. He's not sure what she could do. Surprisingly though, Kanics 'eye' wasn't unnerved as the mare approached. He was taken back a bit by this, but let down his guard, only by a bit, because of the calmness of his 'eye'.
"The name's Kanic!" he said kind of abruptly. "And I've not seen you either." At this point, Knaic wasn't really interested in the mares comments about his looks. He wasn't one to gloat about how good looking he was, and it typically didn't flatter him much. "I can tell you that there is nothing good up there to explore, that's why I came down."
Kanic calmed down a bit as the conversation continued, relaxing a bit. "I typically dont make it down this far on hoof, I usually fly. I do collect things though. Seen anything on the way up?"

Shikon thinks a bit as it hit her. "Yes I walked by something that was glowing. I didn't get a good look at it though. But if you wish I can lead you to where I saw it?" She wonders a bit as she watches his Eye thingie. "That Eye looking thing is interesting. What is it if I might ask?"She looking at it a bit more as her eyes rest back on Kanic again. After all she finds him attractive and she thinks it would be a shame if she doesn't befriend or something. It would be a waste to go down different paths now. She looks down the path she came up. "But be warned some odd sounds were coming in the area that the glowing thing was." She points out though she is a tough one and doesn't fear a lot.

Kanic was feeling a bit aggravated, although not entirely sure why. It could have been because he usually took any comments about his "good looks" as offensive. He always felt that many mares were all about looks. He knew deep down that this new friend was not judging him, or at least he hoped not. After all, that would be a bad foot to start off on.
As the mare talked about this 'shiny' item, Kanic got pretty interested, although he didnt want to seem over zealous just yet. "Shiny thing? Yes, you must show me." Kanic started wondering what it may have been. He didn't usually see shiny stuff on his adventures. He listened as the mare asked about his 'eye'. "I really have no idea, its been following me as long as I can remember. "I think mom sent it to watch after me as a foal, and it has never left!" Just as he said that, Kanic's 'eye' gave him a bit of a nudge at the side of his head, and then, as if a reaction from the gods, A high winds caught Kanic's 'eye' and gave it a gentle nudge into the rock side of the mountain. "Haha!" he chuckled a bit, "Serves ya right!" he laughed.

Shikon watches the stallion and his eye thingie. She trots past him and starts to lead the way. "When I say glowing and shiny that means the item could be that way because the light hitting it. Or it could be glowing on it's own." She stays at a trot going back down the mountain side. Though if you aren't sure about the footing you shouldn't trot down even a hill.
But she doesn't mind getting hurt just by doing what is the safest thing to do. So staying at a trot is her way of making it into a game for herself. "It is just down this path a bit more" Her voice said calmly when a howling like no other could be heard. It was the sound she was warning him about before.

Kanic was watching intently with every step he took. Whatever it was, he didn't want to step on it. As the walked, He listened to the mare. "I wonder what would make it glow." he said aloud. He was very curious, and the mare had finally caught his attention enough to not be as rude as he had been, although admittedly to himself, he was interested in this item that may be down her.
Suddenly Kanic heard the howling. "Was that the sound you were referring to?" he asked the mare, listening intently to see where the sound was coming from. The sound didn't concern him except but to wonder if whatever this treasure might be, was the thing making the noise.

Looking back at the stallion as she nods. "Yes that is the sounds I was referring to." She points out as she continues towards the howling sounds. "Now we follow the howl." She smiles as if nothing phases her. Slowly walking towards the howl as she watches where her hooves step. She is careful to make sure she doesn't step on something that might be of value. The closer to the sound they get the more they can see a glow up ahead.

Kanic kept an eye on the glowing item as he walked loser, showing no fear, and passing the mare to take the lead" That thing does look mighty interesting." he said, "but I can't quite make out the sound, can you?" he asked. Just as he finished his sentence, his eye" started fluttering quite a bit, obviously trying to tell Kanic that something was about to happen. Usually though, nothing ever did. "Oh stop it!' he yelled, giving the "eye" a nudge. The eye flew a good 3 feet, wobbling the whole way. After being able to catch itself, the "eye" gave a glare back to Kanic, before ruffling its wings and closing the gap that had been placed between the two.

"Oh yes very interesting." Shikon states out as she continues to speak. "No not really. I have heard Bears and stuff. This sound doesn't sound like an animal I know of." She watches Kanic and the eye. "Hmm shouldn't you be nicer to that thing?" She wonders as she trots behind Kanic liking the view. Smirking a bit as she is in a very happy mood. But then again she is treasure hunting with someone. This is going to be super fun.
