((omgyayforfirstLibraryrp! biggrin ))
Amparo wandered into the Headquarters quietly, glancing around with a curious gaze as she wandered towards one of the halls. In her previous stays, she had stayed in the main room of the Headquarters. Now with the baby ghost floating after her loyally, Amparo was a little braver in exploring.
Ironically, the first place she was led to by instinct was the library. With the baby ghost happily cooing in her head, Amparo disappeared inside and glanced around at all the books, eyes wide and curious. "Wow..." She mumbled, stepping forward as the library door closed behind her.
The hispanic woman found a table and set her bag down ontop of it, wandering to one of the various shelves in the large room. She stood at the shelf, and carefully ran her fingers along the bookspines, looking for any book that looked even remotely interesting. The baby ghost of Abrihet floated behind Amparo, patient as always.

Ianna had been on the second story, carefully balancing on the walkway with a squirming, impatient Coailiann. She wanted to go back down to the main room and try to walk again but obviously...Her mother had other plans for her.
"Damnit Coailiann...Please stop...Ahh...AHHH!" Ianna fell on her a** with Coailiann insisting on wiggling more. Of course, this made her get loose and she immediately levitated and started to go down the stairs.
"GUH!" she tried to get up and ended up rolling half off the platform, "******** COAILIANN!" her eyes noticed Amparo, "Yo, Amparo, A bit of help please?"
If her hair wasn't already a silver-gray she would have gotten more gray hairs. Especially since she knew Coailiann could only levitate for so long without falling.
And a fall down the stairs wasn't a pleasing thought.

Amparo glanced up when she heard the noise, and looked amused. "Sure you want me to help there, Ianna?" Either way, Amparo went into her purse and dug out a bag of candy, walking towards the stairs.
She headed up the stairs, the mossy ghost following behind her in silence, and walked towards Coailiann. "Hey Coailiann." She smiled at the toddler as she neared her. "Want some candy?" She offered, holding out the bag. Amparo's idea was to try and get Coailiann near her enough to grab her, and what better way than to bribe the toddler with candy?
The bag contained a mix of tootsie rolls, lollipops, bubblegum, and a few caramels here and there. "You can have some, if you want." Amparo promised with a gentle smile.

Ianna managed to get up, panting heavily. "Thanks..." she said, hanging half over the railing, "She just....oh god...." she shook her head.
Coailiann stared at the woman with bright green eyes, looking up and down and then at the bag of candy. Carefully, she lowered herself down onto the stairs, "Candy!" she squeeled, reaching for the bag and for the hispanic woman.
She was a sucker for candy. And Apples.

Amparo laughed quietly and picked Coailiann up, opening the bag and holding it out so the girl could get her pick. "You look exhausted. She been riding you hard or somethin'?" Amparo asked as she walked up the stairs to Ianna.
"Don'cha have that guy, what's his name? He should help ya out, shouldn' he?" Amparo smiled at Coailiann gently, before looking at Ianna again, amused. "Or is she just that much of a handful?" The hispanic woman was amused. She didn't have Abrihet just yet, so she didn't quite know how bad it must be to have to care for a toddler.
Of course, knowing her luck, she'd get a toddler who's just crazed. Karma can be a real a**.

"Malen hasn't moved in quite yet and he has his hands full," she blinked, "He got a daughter of his own other than Kishi now...So I'm a quasi-step mom to a little dolphin girl. She's cute...But Coailiann doesn't like that she has to share. It's made her a little bit more....what's the word.....meh, I can't think..."
Coailiann looked at Amparo, choosing one of the apple lolly pops and suckling on it - wrapper and looked a little confused. This didn't taste good!

Amparo snorted in amusement and took the lollipop, taking the wrapper off of it and returning it to the sidhe fae child. Then her attention turned back to Ianna.
"Oh, that has to be fun." She snorted, and eyed Coailiann. "I bet she'll get used to sharing after a while. Most kids do." Amparo smiled at Ianna. "When's he supposed to be movin' in anyway?" She watched Ianna with a faintly amused look on her face. "And if you need help with Coailiann, I'll be more'n happy to lend you Jonathan or Antonio when need be." Amparo grinned at the woman. "Lord knows they need to get out of my house so I can clean. It's a damn pig's pen."

"I hope so. She'll have two sisters to deal with other than Matilda. Since, you know, Matilda's out of the house..." a little sigh and her silver eyes closed, "I just am not used to this kind of stuff. And I know he isn't too...but he's SO good with Kay. She loves him." a pause, "And I think I do too."
That was a revelation.
Coailiann immediately stuck the lolly into her mouth, giggling gleefully, "Mine!"

"You do?" She grinned at Ianna, and shook her head. "I'm happy for you. S'not every day you find out you might love someone. And he seems like a nice guy, from what I got from 'im." Amparo sat on the stairs with Coailiann in her lap, grinning up at Ianna.
"From what I hear, this?" She nodded to Coailiann. "Gets worse as it goes on, right up 'til they move out." She snorted. "Of course, that's my mother and my grandmother's opinion, so..." She grinned slightly. "No real gaurentee on how true it is, they're always crabby." Amparo grinned at Coailiann quietly, then looked up. "It ghosted, by the way." She nodded backwards, towards the floating baby ghost behind her left shoulder.

"Yeah, I know he loves me. I...Why am I going on and on about this?" her blush flushed her face and she gave a little laugh, "Oh! She did! That's wonderful. It shouldn't be too long until you have a little bundle of joy too," her voice was kind of droll on the last part, picking Kay up and holding her.
"I was lucky with Matilda. She was already a little grown up in a tiny person's body..."
Coailiann looked at them quietly, "More!"

She laughed quietly and shook her head. "Because it's very normal to gush when you're in love." Amparo rose, and dug out another apple lollipop, opened it, and handed it to Coailiann. Amparo snorted and shook her head.
"I can't wait until she becomes a bundle of joy." Amparo grinned. "It'll be a whole new method of torturing the boys." She beamed innocently, then grinned. "She poofed up when I was at my mother's cafe after shopping" She grinned sheepishly. The baby ghost floated to her other shoulder as they talked, and Amparo could get a distinct curious feeling in her head. She couldn't help but smile.

Coailiann happily shoved the candy in her mouth and snuggled into her mother, gnawing on it. Ianna shook her head, "She has a bigger sweet tooth than I do. That's a scary thought..." she giggled a little bit - something totally out of character for her, "Mmm, well, I'm glad that she's close to being here. It'd be nice to have another little girl for Coailiann to play with. Maybe she won't try and kill her."
"Kill! ******** KILL!"
Ianna groaned.

Amparo laughed quietly and shook her head. "I always make it a point to carry candy in my purse when I know kids'll be around. Instant silence." She grinned quietly and shook her head. "I can't wait either." She grinned. "It'd be nice of the two of them become friends." Amparo blinked at the child, and snorted.
"Lovely vocabulary there." She gave a devious glance to Ianna, before grabbing a piece of gum and popping it into her mouth, then holding the bag out in offering to Ianna. "Y'want a piece?" She asked after a minute of thoughtful chewing.

Ianna shook her head, "No thank you. Not right now....Anyway, what's brought you into the library, hmm? Anything in particular you're looking for? Maybe I could help you...I was looking for a warding spell. Coailiann's started to try and creep out of her room and It's annoying."
Coailiann looked up and made a face, "Noying!"

"Hm? Oh, no." She grinned sheepishly. "I was just exploring and I came upon the library, when I heard your cry for help." Amparo grinned at Ianna, and rose, shrugging and brushing her butt off out of instinct. "Did you find that wardin' spell?" She asked in vague amusement, stretching absently as she watched Ianna.
"I could help ya find it, if you want." She added after a hesitant moment. "I don't have anything to do today, so...." She grinned sheepishly.
