Well, she was better now.
The school laid before her. It was time to talk and presumably Jerry was waiting for her within'.
She creaked the door open and peered inside, "Hello?... Jerry?"

Jerry had arrived ahead of time, carefully roaming the dim halls with Roar out to make sure the coast really was clear.
This was the first time he had been in the school since it was (theoretically) cleared out.
At the sound of a voice, he jumped with a yelp, his blast ripping across the drop ceiling of the hall.
"Oh..." He panted once the dust had cleared, "R-rin! Ah.. h-hi."
He lowered the weapon.

Rin blinked as the blast thankfully wasn't aimed at the source of the voice, her.
"We uh... needed to talk remember? Not kill each other... yeesh." she hadn't even thought to summon Byr.

"Ah... y-yes! Yes, sorry, I'm just... still... jittery about the place. Um. You're a moon, though, want to see if we can uh... find the circuit breakers?" They did need to talk. He had gotten her texts. He had carefully ignored the first and second. It would be rude after the third.
He didn't desummon Roar, but kept him lowered just in case.

"Yeah I know, this place isn't very nice.... yet." she frowned grimly as he lead the way.
"Is there a reason you're avoiding me?" she sounded somewhat irritable debating on pushing past him to find the breakers even faster to remove yet another excuse of his.

"There's... been a lot going on," He murmured, "By the time I ah... got your texts it was um. P-pretty late and I worried ah..." He shuffled along with her like a reprimanded dog.

She settled on walking beside him in the end, giving him a subtle glare through her peripheral, "Are you lying to me?"

"So you are lying then. Look. Shut up. It doesn't matter." she started walking more quickly so as to pull ahead of him and walk directly in front of him, leading the way.
She thought back to a ... pep-talk that Rep had so 'wisely' given her, "You're my friend. Deal with it."

Rin chuckled as he was back to stuttering. That'll teach him to lie. Finally reaching a back wall through various hallways she continued along it until she found a doorway.
"S'gotta be back here," she gestured before walking into the inky pitch black before he had a chance to aim Roars glow.
"Look. It was just an offer of release. I wasn't asking you to ******** marry me." she called back at him sounding irritable as she stumbled around in the darkness.
There was a banging sound, "********! s**t! Ouch man!"

"Be careful! Y-you don't know what could be back there!" He called uncertainly, happy for the darkness just then hiding his expression. He swung Roar around like an over-sized flashlight of green haze.
It didn't particularly make the place any more welcoming.
You're gettin' over this. Alpha Wolves aint afraid of the dark.
He swallowed and hesitantly sidled in after her.

"We cleared it, remember? We kicked this place's a** Jerry." she was lit up by the green haze and was very clearly rubbing her knee after taking out a small desk with it. She pointed over at a box on the back wall.
"Cover me with that light, I can't reset it without being able to see s**t." and she promptly started hobbling towards it and tried to tug it open.
It popped open with a rattle and low wail of metal on metal.

"M-mostly," He grumbled. There was always the chance that Shadowman might return.
Count your blessing.
"We haven't really checked if... if power runs to the building at all, even." He tried to shift Roar's light to Rin's best advantage.

"Well it's always best to check the simplest fix first Jerry." she reached for the main switch pushing it to the off and then on position. There was instantly a soft humming overhead as one by one lights flikered on throughout the building, "See?"
POP! And then off ******** was a pause as she looked thoughtful, "Shitty a** old circuit breaker. Something's tripping this s**t up."
She turned her head looking at Jerry, "Maybe one of the creatures broke something before we killed it?"
One by one she flipped each individual switch into the off position before attempting to try again with the main switch. It stayed on - good.
But now Jerry was going to have to sit in darkness with the woman as she one by one flipped each switch on and waited to see if it would overload, "So. What exactly do we need to discuss about... what almost happened?"
Yep. She was going to make him sit in darkness with her and discuss that. Today was not Jerry's day.
