Ilex Forest is a dark forest with a small lake within it. In the middle of the forest is a shrine. This shrine is dedicated to the guardian of the forest; Celebi. If you bring or are a Celebi here, you will begin to travel in time, going to various places.

Ryu followed Valentin into the forest where his group resided, but they weren't deep in the forest so the group wasn't around. "We should find a big open clearing first." He said calmly.
Valentin smiled recognizing the forest and how it hadn't changed at all since he had last been there. The trees were the same and the sun shined above him refreshing his health. Valentin sighed happily before raising an eyebrow in Ryu's direction. "Well you want to be able to fight in closed spaces in tight situations. But, if you're really worried about it, I can lead you to a better area." He said floating towards the open area he told Ryu about. Once he got there, Valentin stretched his arms out getting ready for the fight. "Alright here we are. A large open clearing away from your group and if I sense them coming I'll warn you." He informed Ryu while still stretching.

Ryu nodded in his statement for a difficult situation. "Yeah but I was gonna have you wring up some large vines to surround the entire area so my group wont be able to find me, or catch my scent. Plus if they hear anything from this battle, they usually send scouts out to investigate." He said as they went to a more opened area. He nodded as Valentin said he would warn him if anyone from the group were to near here. He moved to the otherside of their 'battlefield' and got into his fighting stance, waiting for Valentin's first attack since he himself never gave the first attack. He always said to analyze his opponent first by attack strength, speed, and maneuvers, then form a plan to counter attack.
Valentin nodded when Ryu said he should make large vines surround the area. "That might make them more suspicious but I'll do so anyway." He said then his eyes began to glow a bright green. Seconds later, large thick vines grew from the ground and surround the large area around Ryu and Valentin. Once the vines were as tall as the trees, they stopped growing, and Valentin's eyes stopped glowing. After taking a deep breath, he prepared himself to fight. Since he was still floating, Valentin couldn't get in a fighting stance since it would be pointless. He waited for Ryu to make a move but then he remembered that Ryu never attacked first. He remembered seeing Valentin fight in battles with his group and always wait to analyze his opponent before attacking. So he decided to be nice and attack first. Valentin's eyes began to glow and the leaves on the ground glowed and shook before floating above the ground. This was why Valentin chose for their battle ground to be in the Ilex forest. There are many trees which means many leaves for his leaf storm attack. The leaves gathered and started to circle around Ryu at a very fast speed creating a tornado of leaves to surround him. This was one of the ways that Valentin used leaf storm meaning he had many more ways to use the attack up his sleeve.

Ryu nodded, agreeing that the vines would make them more suspicious, but then again, they wouldn't be able to see inside. All he wants is to make sure they don't find out it's him that's fighting. He watched as all the leaves around him began spinning around him in a form of a Leaf Storm Attack. He used Detect, watching every leaf carefully and dodging them all. Eventually, all the leaves fell, showing the attack ended, which Ryu knew that now Valentin was weakened, but just a little. Doesn't mean he shouldn't underestimate him though, he is a Celebi after all. He sat there, watching him, waiting for the next move, since he couldn't really analyze his strength, nor speed.
Valentin sighed as the leaves stopped spinning and fell to the ground slowly. He watched Ryu dodge every single leaf while using the move detect. Though it bored him that Ryu hadn't shown any of his own power. So he decided to fly away from Ryu to see if he would preform any of his own attacks. Valentin just floated there and waited for Ryu to make a move.

Ryu watched as Valentin flew away a bit. He looked at it as an opportunity and jumped up using the vines to reach Valentins height and fired off a Dark Pulse attack at him.
Valentin instictivly dropped to the ground and his slammed his hands on the grass. Right when he did so, large vines shot out from the ground in front of Valentin creating a tall sheild in front of him. Valentin smiled when the vines protected him from the dark pulse. Not soon after the attack finished, Valentin flew over the vine sheild and landed a few yards in front of Ryu. Right when he landed, Valentin slammed his hands on the ground again, but this time, his eyes glowed a bright yellow and the ground under Ryu began to shake and crack. Then the ground directly under Ryu broke and a massive hole appeared under Ryu making him fall into a pit. The hole wasn't too deep but just deep enough so he can't just jump out. Valentin wanted to see how Ryu delt with things in this situation.

Ryu watched as Valentin raised up some vines to block his dark pulse attack, then landed near him and made a hole in the ground, causing him to fall in. He looked up from the bottom of the pit and noticed it was to deep for him to jump out, and to wide so he couldn't just jump from each wall. He shot a few dark pulse attacks at the wall, causing rocks to fall off and wasted no time and hurried to the rocks and jumped off from each quickly, firing more dark pulse attacks to make more rocks to jump off from, eventually getting to the top and jumped out and then looked at Valentin and fired off a weird beam that circled all around Valentin with weird colors in attempts to confuse him.
Valentin gripped his head as the colors around him confused him and gave him a banging headache. As a celebi, he has connections to the earth, so vines started to grow at random everywhere. The vines whipped back and fourth in attempt to get rid of the thing that had caused their master such confusion. Bigger vines grew around Valentin to protect him from further attacks as a barrier. Some of the vines near Ryu whipped around faster and some hit him causing some damage. Once the vines had hit Ryu, the others immediately grew around him and tied him up so that he couldn't move.

Ryu looked over at Valentin, whom he successfully confused, but sprouted out a bunch of vines that began t whip around violently everywhere til they found him, where he was now tied up, and stuck in the vines. He started sending powerful Psychic waves at the roots of the vines to try and break them and free himself.
Valentin noticed that Ryu wasn't throwing anymore attacks so he took this as a chance to heal up. Closing his eyes and relaxing his body, Valentin's body started to glow a bright green. This was his Recover move. The wounds on his body healed and his confusion went away. Once the move was done, Valentin's body stopped glowing and he opened his eyes to look at Ryu. Only to seet that the Umbreon Moemon had been caught by a bunch of his vines making Valentin chuckle. The vines of a forest only do that when the Celebi of that forest is in trouble. Though it confused him seeing Ryu try to use a psychic attack against the roots. Roots don't have brains so the psychic attack is basically useless against the plants. This was obviosly a real pinch for Ryu so, since this is a training match, Valentin wanted to see how Ryu would get out of the situation.

Ryu stopped firing Psychic waves, finding out that these were brainless plant. 'They should disperse if I attack the one in command of the vines.' He thought and looked over at Valentin and fired off another Dark Pulse attack.
☽✶❅✶☾ Its as quiet as ever around here. Isis thought as she wandered around the forest. "Maybe I spoke to soon." She whispered quietly when the sounds of battle reached her ears. She mentally debated weather or not she should investigate when her curiosity got the best of her. She found a safe where she could watch the battle without being noticed or caught in the cross fire. Those are other Pokemorphs! And one of them is trapped in some vines! That must mean that one of them is a Celebi moemon... But what is the other one? She wondered thoughtfully as she watched from afar. "Can the Celebi really travel through time?" She asked herself quietly as she watched the darker boy send out a Dark Pulse. Thats a dark type move. So that narrows him down to being a Dark type moemon... Now that I look at him he kind of looks like an Umbrion. She thought calmly as she took a closer look at the boy struggling against his restraints. ☽✶❅✶☾
