Rin had so much uncertainty now. Her friends urging her one way, while she still longed for another. What was she meant to be? What was her purpose now?
The time to decide was dwindling and it occurred to her the only way she was ever going to get anywhere was simply to look around. Ask, talk, and investigate. She was so sure before but now?...
She hauled out her cell and punched in a few things before sending it off.
Lizbot Edith, right? Rin Alder here. Are you free to talk?
She quietly stared at her phone.

Rin blinked at her phone in surprise before looking around at her surroundings before quickly texting back.
Yeah... that should help.
She was sitting on a counter nearby the fridge. About the raid that s**t for something decent that wasn't lab food and possibly runic in nature.

About fifteen minutes the Moon leader was striding through the kitchen doors, sleevess white coat flaring behind her. Despite the mud, blood, and bits of foliage that spattered her clothes, Edith didn't seem at all worse for the wear.
"Right," she began briskly, holding out a gloved hand as she approached the trainee. "Alder? Edith Carr. Now what's the problem?"

Rin's eyes went huge at the sudden explosion of leader in the kitchen. She looked so... so...
"You... uh... didn't have to drop everything to see me?" she felt incredibly guilty. Edith looked like she stopped mid-epic-battle to see the trainee.
"I- um... I wanted to meet you mostly because... I uh..." she drew a slow deep breath.
Then she puffed out her chest, "I had some questions about you and being a moon ma'am. I just, how do you know if being a moon is the right thing for you?"
She exhaled and shrunk down a bit in posture, "Like, how did you know?"

"I was on my way back," she dismissed the concern and dropped her hand with a small frown, placing it on her hip. "You're still a freshie, right? Bit soon to be talking about divisions like you're picking a husband. The one."
Rolling her eyes, Edith moved past The trainee and began grabbing items out of the fridge, tossing them into an industrial strength blender. "You're at a point where you aren't expected to commit to a division. Shop around, get yourself some experience, then do your soul searching." The Moon head grabbed a few grapes and tossed one up, catching it in her mouth. "Tell you this much, though, you rank up to full and still not sure you want to be in moon? I'll kick you out myself." She picked up a carton of eggs and threw four in, she'll and all.

Rin frowned, this woman was not exactly what she'd expected.
Such strange appetite too... was she pregnant with one of them zombie babies?
Oh right. I almost missed it, she was answering my question... hmm.
Rin suddenly looked very thoughtful, "So... you wouldn't be mad or anything if I tried Life for a while? O-or hold it against me if I decided I liked moon more and attempted to return?"
She cringed as eggs were added, pondering distantly how certain they were she was a human and not some... monster thing.

"Mad?" Edith turned to the younger woman with a question that clearly asked if this b***h was for real. "This is the first time I've even talked to you, so it's not like I'm going to write in my diary about it." Opening a cabinet she snagged a bottle of Flintstones vitamins and threw a handful in before closing the top and starting the blender.
Over the noise, she continued, "It's nothing personal unless you make it personal, you got me?"

"Well... you are the Moon Lea-" Rin immediately stopped as the blender set to work.
He had a point... she still frowned leaning in trying to hear the woman over the racket.
It's not his pickle undress you make it pickle?
She totally did not get her. Staring as her mind slowly tried to decipher what this woman was saying. It was a hopeless cause so she decided to backtrack a little, "Well. I uh. It's nice meeting you ma'am?"

Intent on her meal preparation, Edith just gave the trainee a wave, and silently hoped that the next time a trainee called her, there would be less talk, more action. Probably not, probably it would be more feelings talks. But she could hope, there'd been talk of the Big Dumbass and Aria causing a bit of a ruckus in the dorms and unsurprisingly making things worse over there. The Moon leader gave a wistful sigh and searched for a clean glass.

Rin backed away slooowly, still smiling but that awkward sort of 'please don't eat me' smile. Step by step backtracking through the doorway out of the kitchen.
