Background: Joshua was born in Japan and was raise their for his whole life with his father, Joshua never met his mother or knew about her because his dad never spoke about her. When Joshua was ten he came back home finding a lady in his home standing next to his dad's corpse, Joshua dramatized as the lady took Joshua and escape to USA. The lady told him that she knew his mother and that she was a witch, she kept her true identity from his father because he was a meister witch hunter but she loved him to death. However the father found out and killed her after you were born a few weeks ago, his father didn't have it in his heart to kill him so he try to raise him as his own hoping to keep his witch powers from being awakened. Joshua was raised by the witch and learned about Meisters and Demon weapons, he became fascinated by it and wanted to move to Death City when he grew older.
However the witch refuse to let him go because she was afraid that he will become a witch hunter like his father. Joshua understood and didn't spoke a word about it, he went to a regular school but he was secretly training after school with other witches. When he became fifteen he was visited by a man in a restaurant Josh works at, the man told him that he was looking for Joshua because he was his dad's weapon partner and told him the truth about his mother.
His mother was planning to conceive a child from a meister, she wanted to raise the child in a image of a strong warrior to take Death City. During the birth she plans a ritual to put a kishin's soul inside of Joshua when he is born. The ritual was successful, Joshua adapted inhuman powers from the kishin but something was off. His powers were fueled with hatred until his father rescued him and killed his mother who was still weak from the birth. His father raised him alone filling his need of hatred with love, Joshua was shocked to hear this then killed the witch he was raised by blowing up the house thanks to the weapon's help. Joshua was train by the weapon like he was his uncle and learned his meister abilities.
But since he and the weapon killed a witch, Ulric made a visit to them and killed the weapon. Joshua convinced Ulric that he didn't do a thing hoping he could trick him, Ulric fell for it and took Joshua with him to the Witch society group. Joshua was raise their his whole life and became bored with everything around him, he heard of Queen Circe looking for recruits and he thought it would be interesting to try and join. He enrolled the academy but kept his life hidden so others wouldn't know.

Pass the Puck-(Chain Resonance only)-Joshua created a unique technique when chain resonating, when the Chain Resonance is established a green aura will be pass to each person after the possessor deals a blow. The green aura amplifies the strength of the final blow then passes on to the next person. The more it passes, the stronger it gets. It's basically like playing Hockey. However when the person who holds the puck gets attack the puck's strength is reverted back to it's original form.
