It had been a couple rough days since Coeur had become an official member of the Mwezi'Johari after she had awaken from the moon flower slumber. She had awoken during the Waning Gibbous which meant that she was an upper-middle class citizen. In her old home she had been a Duchess, so the change of rank was surely different but well welcomed as she was now something she always wanted to be: a guard. Today she was on duty and patrolling the border of the pride. A smile came to her maw as she thought back to not more then a month or two ago when she had been standing at the border of her old home, making the decision to become a rogue.
"It seems like so long ago." Coeur mused as she closed her eyes and took in a deep breath, smelling the wonderful smell of her new home and the lands that bordered. Change was hard, but good all at the same time. When her pink eyes opened to the world once more she realized she had been feeling a bit lonely for a while now, though her familiar did help ease the loneliness some. Coeur wondered what exactly could help her feel a bit better but quickly shrugged it off. Maybe it was just the nerves of still trying to figure out who she was and what the heck she was doing. Sure, she believed the Great Lion had led her here because this was where she belonged, but she did sometimes wonder what he had in store for her.
The blue lioness smiled. "No time like the present to find out." Coeur grinned more as she swiped at the air and rolled around a couple times, as if practicing fighting techniques with an imaginary lion.

Gray, silver and white strands of hair were laced through his mane and were slowly shading his maw and Kifalmen was becoming more and more aware of the fact that he was aging, the rogue lands were no longer as safe for him as they once were; or perhaps he had seen too many seasons on them and the times were finally catching up to him. It wasn't so much the land itself, but the other creatures and devious organizatoins recruiting for their pointless initiatives. Hunting had always came naturally for him, as well as scouting natural resources such as water, it was as if he had another leading him but recently he wasn't having the best luck. It had been two days since the humbled lion had feasted on so much as a rabbit or found any water to drink and he was feeling the effects to say the least.
Every step was taken nimbly as if not to disturb the ground his white paws which were covered in dried mud, his brown ears laid down as if they didn't have the strength to stand erect and his eyes seemed to be glazing over. The direction he was heading was a new course in which he did not intend, in this state Kifalmen was numbed down to his most basic survival instinct not conscience decision to travel to another new destination. If he were in control, he'd realize how absolutely dangerous it was to be traveling in unknown lands in such a weak state, he was a elk with a broken leg waiting in a field. But there was no fear, through the weakness Kifal felt peace, as if his paws were walking on familiar ground or a path they had taken millions of times. The feeling brought joy to his heart and in his mind, it was almost like the euphoria one feels before his destiny is laid before him.
Before the lion could pay any mind to his body, it arrived in an upright seated position as the feeling continued. A mighty cough exited his lips and he hunched over to catch himself before the ground could, still not knocking him out of his daze.

Coeur's light purple ears perked at the sound of what sounded to her like coughing. It certainly didn't sound pleasant in the least bit. The lioness quickly stopped her play fighting and directed her attention to where it had come from. Off in the distance she noticed a male with a pink mane, brown and white body with pink stripes sitting, as if waiting for something or someone. Instantly she felt compelled to check on him. Maybe he was lost? She knew that not many ventured this far out so it seemed a bit odd to her that he was there at all, however, she had ended up here so what why was it impossible for him to?
With light footsteps the blue lioness padded over towards the male with a bit of a concerned look. When she reached him she smiled hesitantly. "Are you alright?" She asked him gently. Her pink eyes scanned his body now that he was closer. He was certainly a older than her but still youthful. His body seemed a bit frail to her and he looked absolutely exhausted. Despite this, she thought he was very handsome and thus figured he was coming to meet his lover or something. "Are you looking for someone?" Coeur asked the male before she paused once more. "I'm Coeur, you don't have to be afraid of me." She said as if that could wash away any doubt he might have about her intentions.

Kifal heard a voice, he must be dying. This was it, the Gods had sent someone for him. Very slowly he turned his head and believed as sure as his eyes were pink, They had sent his guardian angel, to rescue him. She was the most magnificent creature he had ever seen, glowing with a bright aura (or perhaps it was his mind playing tricks on him). For a momenthe was wrapped up in his thoughts before he remembered that he was asked a question he did not answer. There was never an inkling of fear in his face or in his heart as it skipped a couple of beats.
"Kifalmen'Doto at your feet my angel, I've been waiting for you my whole life; take me home now if you wish." The once royal lion attempted to kneel but a vile cough expelled from his chest and he toppled over flat onto his chin with a cringe. He was ready for the angel to take him into the after life, he no longer had anything to life for or so it felt which must explain the feeling of euphoria.
