So I got the codex entry about the Chasind in origins. I read it, but I still don't know practically anything about them except that they live in the wilds and everybody hates them.
Even Hawke treats the Chasind in the Mark of the Assassin DLC as subhuman, and he/she's usually against any kind of racism and xenophobia (since the player doesn't live in the DA reality and therefore PROBABLY isn't actually racist against elves or mages or anything).
So I guess they must be objectively bad? I never understood that...
I also never really understood Rivain. I know they're kind of separate from the influence of the Chantry, and something about people intentionally getting possessed.
Isabela makes it sound like a lawless pirate port
But I don't know anything about it.
They're not related, they're just two recurring things in the series that I never understood.
