Personality: Stern and a bit abrupt, but a real child at heart. She loves her twin brother Jing, and would love to be as carefree as him, but takes responsibility in sternness as the older sibling. Ying talks rather formally, and has excellent manners (to the best of her abilities). Etiquette and tradition are held in very high esteem to her, especially now that she is all that's left of the traditions.
It doesn't take much to ruffle her feathers, especially since she'll be coming to Amityville where (in general) things are a bit crazier than the conquest islands. She's easily provoked by her brother and others, and sometimes seems to take offense to simple things. Her favorite pastime is arguing with her brother, though she'd never tell you that.
However, Ying does have a more playful side. You'd see it most when she's working with clothing, but it comes out in other situations too. Learning new facts or reciting old ones to others brings her endless joy- honestly she'd be a scholar if she was so infatuated with the art of cloth. She wants to be seen as a woman of great statute, something her family has always held in great esteem.
She gets very excited about clothing, fashion, fabrics of any kind, almost to the point of fanaticism. She loves to talk about it, show you examples, make you things, shove her designs in your face. Fashion is just the bees knees. Not only fashion though. She has a great admiration for any sort of trade skill, especially those in the art area. She'll clap and fawn over your amazing talents. The typical kouhai to everyone's senpai.
With the death of the four clans, she's been driven even further into solemnity and seriousness. She's burdened by both the loss of her clan and the pressures of creating a new one. However, she's eternally grateful for the experiences her islands gave her, and is ready to move forward with the new one. The effects of the genocide have made her rather sullen and solemn though.
Overall, she's a bit conflicted. She wants to be a mature head of her family, a real graceful woman, but the truth of the matter is that she's only about 15 mentally- a child really. She hasn't quite yet figured out how to balance the two yet.
Mount Form: White horse with a blue and seafoam saddle, the tiny flower mark included. Horse is pure white while the mane is more silvery.
Weapon Form: Click. A very small bow, black in color with a dark blue handle. Small family symbol carved into the top.
FEAR ATTACK: Eye of the Needle (The Eye mechanic): Ying amplifies the FEAR in her eyes giving her better accuracy with her bow- she can pinpoint tiny chinks in her opponent's armor, or simply hit targets that would be farther away, easier.
Physical Description:
Eye Colour: bright teal
Hair Colour/Style: black, edgy, pulled up into a ponytail (can be ornamented however the artist wants~)
Skin Colour: light peach
Clothing Style/Colours: Simple simple simple. A light seafoam dress, with a darker blue cover and a darker seafoam tie. Leggings worn underneath, and seafoam slippers on her feet. Essentially takes a more Korean approach with Chinese influences, as well as a tad more modern direction.
Extra: Simplicity is key, and the flower/four dots design is a must. Black horns on her head (can be designed however you want, just keep them rather short). ALSO! Ying is short. We're talking 5'0-5'2. <3
