This RP thread is only for those who are participating in the break-in mission. If you are part of the break-in team... By posting here you are granting me, Marushii, permission to GM your character. This includes but is not limited to: moving your character to a specific location, having your character pick up and further examine a particular item, interact with a particular item. I will not do something to your character that will affect them permanently, such as infecting them with Insanity, causing a maim/disfigurement, etc. I will, however, do my best to RP them as ICly as I can replicate. Oh, and by the way? There may be a chance that your character will be killed and dissipated. If your character dissipates, you are OUT of this RP. You may not return unless I give you permission. It is very likely that once your character dies, you are out for the rest of the mission. There is going to be an exploration RP. What that means is that I will supply you with a description of the room, and a description of the result of your actions: ie your character looks out the window. I will tell you what is outside the window. You decide to climb out the window. As your character has no method of flight available, I tell you that your character has fallen to their death and has dissipated. You are out for the remainder of the RP. When you wish to examine something, please bold and red your choice so I can see what you wish to interact with at a glance. There are 10-15 of you, one of me; I will do my best to respond in a timely manner. This is not a race, and more than one person can interact with the same item (that may be beneficial and may trigger something, actually!). There are no right answers, there is no correct ending. To prove that you have read this post, if your character is female have them toss their hair over their shoulder. If male, have them shift their weight from one foot to the other. In addition, don't tell anyone to do this -- if you see someone who failed to include this action in their post, please request that they reread this information. This is also not the end or the only chance you'll get: there will be more opportunities to explore Red's office in the future. There is no such thing as a "quiet" time in Halloween. Halloween is a hub of activity at any time of the day: all that changes are the types of people encountered and the number of them. The SEEDs members agreed to meet at her office at 2:34 am; too early in the morning for those that were active during the day to be awake, and late enough for those that were active during the night would be engrossed in their activities. The office they met at wasn't the one in the gym. That office had been renovated and turned into a locker room for students who identified with neither specific gender. Her new office was one that Red did not have an opportunity to stay in long and was in the main building, sandwiched between two liberal arts professors. The damage she and Arel had caused with their previous disagreement had been repaired and reinforced; it was highly unlikely anything would go through that wall ever again. The door to her office was locked. It was a known and accepted fact. Presently, the halls were silent. It seemed that there would be a low chance of being caught entering her office and given detention. The question now was... how to get in?

Lizzy arrived before 2.30am that morning, dressed casually. Once she was there, she made sure to look as inconspicuous as possible, tossing her hair - tied up in a braid - over her shoulder once in a while as she waited for the rest of the students to arrive.

2:34 AM. About the time Shehk would have been out hunting if it hadn't been for this arrangement. Then again, she was turning into a pretty all-times-a-day er, so this somewhat worked out for her. Never the less.
2:34 AM.
It was time for Shehk to assume the position of 'Fearless Leader' for a time. However, it was hard to not look at the walls with a sort of flinching memory - cold, dissipation. It had been a rather unpleasant experience. Definitely not worth how little information they'd gotten from it.
Never the less, it seemed they weren't even inside yet and they were hitting up a small problem called 'How does one get inside'. Still, the Pricolici seemed to have already figured this out with a little bit of practice in her room and a little something she'd picked up in the last year.
She was aware not many were there yet, but Shehk had arrived.... well, it almost seemed like she'd always been there, her arms folded. She tapped the door a few times, before she passed a look to Lizzy as she tossed her hair over her shoulder. "I'm going to take care of this before everybody arrives, just to save time on getting inside. Is that alright by you?" she inquired. Sure she was the 'leader', but still. She'd listen to any protest about it.

They hadn't wasted any time to get this done with, that was for certain. Prior to making his way to the office, Shun had just been out for a stroll more or less. Late night walks were something he did now and then. But once it came time, he showed up fairly promptly outside the office, dressed normally. With his hands in his pockets, he paused by the girls that were already there. Hm. Getting in was the first obstacle it looked like.
Literally breaking down the door would definitely bring too much attention. While he thought on this, he recalled vaguely what had happened last year. He had heard snippets of an argument between Red and Arel. Frowning lightly at the memory, he turned towards Lizzy and Shehk. Did they have any sort of way to get past doors? If there was an opening of sorts, he'd be able to do something about it, but that wasn't exactly the case here.
Letting out a breath, he shifted his weight from one foot to the other as he waited there.

"Go ahead!" Lizzy gave the ghoul a thumbs up, and a nod, as she continued to look around, just in case someone decided to be up and about this time of night... Day... Morning... She then greeted Shun with a smile when he arrived.

Sleep wasn't something he needed much of, and he barely got any tonight as it was. Mort had read and re-read the text more times than he had fingers just to make sure he got everything right - names, time they were meeting, any other specifics - before deleting it as asked. The last thing he wanted to be was late, however, so the zomboil took off at his usual shuffling pace about ten or so minutes before, knowing he'd need every minute to get there on time.
With each step he mentally braced himself for what was to come. He hadn't the slightest idea what sort of traps a Boogeyman kept around, much less around their office, and hoped to keep that knowledge vague and impersonal.
The sight of the reinforced door was a little hopeful in its obviousness, and as he approached the group already there he lifted a hand in silent greeting, the most sound he made coming from the gentle thrum his brain made. The three of them he had met individually in vastly different circumstances, yet here they were; funny how events like this brought students together. Mort didn't know anything about Shehk beyond her position on the student council and her proficiency with charm application, but at least she looked the part of a leader to him.
Shifting his weight from foot to foot idly, he pocketed his hands and gave a cursory look about. Normally he would have tried conversation, but . . . what did you talk about before breaking into a teacher's office anyway? His mother would be so furious if she knew.
The thought made him smile a bit.

Mitsu found she liked being out at night. It was calm and peaceful. At least it was normally. Tonight she was a little jittery looking forward to this break in to search Professor Red's office. It seemed wrong in a way but they needed answers.
When Mitsu arrived she looked to the others present, coming to a stop beside Shun and began to fuss with her hair before she tossed it over her shoulder and out of the way.
"So we need to get passed the door first, yes?" Mitsu asked softly. She remembered being told the door was locked. If they couldn't figure a way to open it quietly perhaps she should give it a try. Mitsu had broken many a door by mistake with her strength what was one more?

There was one draw back to never sleeping; waiting.
Most of the day leading up to the break in was spent pacing about her room debating what to do, thinking about what they might find. Most of the scareons where all piled in her bed watching, almost judging silently as their owner paced the floor. Eventually the clock marched forward letting her finally move to wander towards the school. For once she didn't sport her usual array of dogtags, this time she only had two. Her gift from Siddie, and the one carved from a bit of Red's stone bones.
When she arrived she nodded to everyone, even Shun, though his was a bit sharper; you could feel the tension coming off of Sammy in that moment rolling like a wave before her purple eyes flickered back to the door. "Shehk can handle that not a problem." She whispered to Mitsu as she shifted her weight foot to foot.Sammy doesn't have enough hair to freaking flip besides she's totes a dood anyway...

Hel was not a night person. A mission for the greater cause was a mission for the greater cause though, and the fact that she didn’t want to see any of her friends get caught or in trouble was pretty good motivation. The reaper arrived after a ‘casual’ stroll across the grounds, and came to stand somewhere near Shun and Mitsu.
She rested a hand on her hip and with her other one, pushed her braid back over her shoulder as she observed what everyone else was up to. Door breaking and entering, huh? Yeah, this was why she was going to be look out…because she would have suggested breaking down the door.

Amrita arrived as promptly as she could, not wasting any time to get to the meeting place. The time was no issue to her; she barely slept, and this was as much of an awake time for her as any. She had done a lot in her few years here at Amityville, but there wasn't anything quite like breaking into a Teacher's Office; even if Red was gone, it just seemed...wrong. Very wrong. But they were doing it with the best of intentions, and that helped her calm her own nerves at the very least.
Well, most of them; she couldn't stop herself from quietly fidgeting, brushing her hair over her shoulder only to drape it over the other, where she proceeded to twist and play with it. She waved to the group instead of giving a verbal greeting just in case, and then drifted over to stand near Mort to wait quietly, back to playing with her hair and trying to mentally prepare herself for what was to come.

He was not a night person, but Sparrow was wide awake when he arrived at the designated meeting spot, dressed in a pair of black slacks and a black button down shirt. Several were already there - Lizzy, the one he recalled as being one of the heads of SEEDS - Shehk, another reaper, a zombie, a white-haired ghoul, another zombie - this one female - a dark-skinned ghoul and - ah, Hel. Sparrow felt a small wave of relief course through him. He still did not know many people in the group, so seeing people he did know made him feel more at ease - especially with what they were about to do.
Silently making his way past Lizzy, Sparrow gave the ghoul a nod and a small smile, moving across the ground to stand quietly beside Hel. He glanced around at the rest of the students, shifting his weight uncertainly from one foot to the other.
A question rose in his throat, but Sparrow suppressed it, instead tucking his hands against the small of his back and waiting for what they were to do next.

The reaper felt pretty at ease amongst the current group. She was friends with and knew a lot of them, and upon seeing Sparrow she perked up, looking over at the grim as he came to stand next to her. She reached up to clasp the boil on the shoulder in a warm, affectionate gesture, grinning up at him. “ Good to see you, friend.” She murmured, her tone laced with amusement. At least someone was approaching this with ease?

Malodore had never been to Red's 'new' office - though it had been to her renovated old one many times, grateful to have a room specifically for entities not on a gender binary. Still, it was fairly easy to discern the meeting point, as by now a number of students were standing 'casually' around it.
The plague doctor quietly sidled into the group, nodding at the others before glancing around. It was definitely anxious, but also curious; it shifted its weight antsily from hoof to hoof, willing the others to arrive so they could at least get out of the hallway. All it would take to wreck their plans was one curious gnome...
