I just spent 3 hours at a mall.
  I think I died a little inside.

I'm not even asking for long sleeves, just short sleeves that don't happen to be cap sleeves emotion_facepalm

I looked for one the entire time I was in high school. I never found one. Come to think of it, that's about the time I started making my own clothes.
Not that I've gotten around to making a short dress with long sleeves yet, but I've got the fabric to make one. The one I designed in high school, actually, but in a different color.

Also, Ivy; if we lived closer to each other I'd probably offer to make you a dress. I wind up sewing gifts for my friends all the time.

That'd have been super nice of you T T Would definitely save me the trouble of having to find a dress for graduation.

Where have you been looking? I imagine you could find one on the internet, but as I understand you don't care for clothes shopping, I bet looking through pages of dresses would be torturous.

Hm, I think if I were to design you a dress though, it would be lolita inspired without being actually lolita. Innocent and elegant with no actual frills. I'm thinking a light color, but I have no idea what your complexion is like-
NO. I can't make everyone I know clothes.

The problem with online shopping for me is that clothes that I imagine would look good don't actually look good on me, and I don't really get that until I try it on. I've been to Macy's, and they did have a very extensive selection, but my size was all gone.

Hahaha, I tan pretty easily and I'm Asian, so you could probably guess my complexion from that.

Not anymore. Clothing is less fabric nowadays.

So I tried the online way, and (my local one, at least) Nordstrom hands down has the best designed website and customer service compared to other department stores nearby.

Found one, but it's a pain in the butt to get there. It's like a 30 minute drive, not counting traffic.

emotion_eyebrow ...you... ...live in a city, don't you?

I seriously cannot wrap my mind around that being a problem. The nearest Walmart is forty-five minutes away, and you have to go further afield if you actually want to find something good.

30 minutes isn't that bad when a good portion of your drive is on a highway.
Turn on some beats and cruise into the unknown! emotion_dealwithit
