Not entirely sure if anyone posted about this yet, but you can now download Mario Kart 7's patch on the eShop. This is mandatory, so you can't go online without getting the patch. As you know, this fixes the Maka Wuhu glitch where you can take that shortcut. Can't do that anymore! HAH!
EDIT: However, you can still perform the glitch offline on Single Player and possibly Local Multiplayer (not sure though, I didn't test it.) You just can't do it online.

There's also a new firmware update. It doesn't do much - I think it lets you update w/o using parental control/passwords if you have them set.

I saw a handful of newbs doing the glitch as I just stop at the other side and watch at them fail, It took them 3-4 times to realize that.

XD Wait, I thought you lost your 3DS. Did you find it or get another one? I heard Walmart is already selling those Purple ones before the official release for some reason.
