A certain particular little werewolf was currently sitting on a bed. A certain gryphon's bed. Waiting for him to wake up. And realize he had a she-wolf in his room.
Again.
Just like always.
And no, not like this.
Except for once, she was in her typical pajama wear. Which basically consisted of a tank top and stolen borrowed boxers.
She was idly toying with her tail, hair pulled back out of her face while a certain lepus got free cuddles in her lap. Her eyes, when not on her boilfriend's sleeping form, would gaze down at her arms and legs. And the changes since she'd hit her third year.
"Think he'll wake up on his own?" She mused to Rhys, reaching out to play with one of Ren's feet from where she sat on his bed.

Ren had been sleeping very nicely, thank you very much, until he heard a scritching sound and felt something bouncing up and down on top of him. Something all-too-familiar.
"RHYS!"
In the next few minutes that followed this there was much indignant squawking on the part of a certain lepus (and his mate and their children), a roar of irritation from a certain, sleepy gryphon, several swear words as said lepus and said gryphon proceeded to squabble (very maturely) back and forth with each other, a creak as the gryphon got tangled up in his blankets, and then a loud thunk as gryphon, lepuses, and ghoulfriend tumbled to the floor in a tangled heap of arms, legs, blankets, pillows, rabbits, and curses.
"For Jack's sake - "
Ren struggled with the blanket, which had somehow looped around his head, finally pulled it off, and proceeded to beam brightly at LW as though nothing had happened whatsoever.
"Morning, darling," he said cheerfully, and leaned over to kiss her - but then stopped, his eyes traveling down the length of her arm. Reaching over, Ren grabbed her wrist and held it up.
"Uh," he said, eyeing the red that spread up towards her elbow. "I've missed something, haven't I."

LW gave Rhys one of those looks that said she was sorry and would make it up to him with lots and lots of cuddles and maybe some treats thrown in there. Which upgraded to including a few more lepuses - which she attempted to grab and pull out of the squabble. All of which earned giggles from the she-wolf.
Until they were tumbling off the bed.
She squeaked and thankfully landed on a pillow...and part of a gryphon. And managed to gain one or three lepuses sitting on her, most likely giving their master a not so nice look. The she-wolf just laid there, legs sprawled over her boilfriend and head cushioned on the pillow, tail smacking against Ren.
Oh Jack that expression made her insides feel all warm and melty.
And he was so totally a brat!
"Good morning, kitten!" She giggled, raising a hand to brush her fingers along his cheek- only to have her wrist snatched by Ren. Her giggling increased.
"Maybe just a little something~" LW teased him, raising her other arm up enough so he could examine both of them. "You know, like your ghoulfriend reaching year three?"
LW sat up - sort of - her free hand stroking Ren's cheek before she nudged his head to the side. Where her legs could be seen. Which wasn't difficult since she was partially in his lap.
"What...do you think?" She asked almost shyly.

And then suddenly pile.
It didn't really help that Ren had been half asleep while attempting to bicker with Rhys - never a good thing - so when he found himself tangled up on the floor in a complete mess, staring blankly at LW's wrists and hands, it took him several moments for his sleep hazed brain to comprehend just what was going on.
"You reached year three?" he repeated stupidly, his eyes still traveling along the fur that spread from the tips of her fingers up towards her elbows. And if he looked down he could see the same scarlet fur traveling from her toes up her legs. Ren reached out with his free hand, laying it alongside LW's calf almost musingly.
"Well, this is certainly a change," he said, in a voice tinged with amusement. He brought LW's hand towards his mouth, kissing her fingertips as his lips curved upwards in a smile. Then he pulled her towards him, into his lap, and wrapped his arms around her waist, one hand hand cupping the shewolf's cheek to give her a kiss.
"And I think it looks beautiful. But, then again, you could never be anything otherwise."

LW just giggled. Again.
He was so adorable when his mind was working to catch up with the rest of him! Okay, that wasn't true. Ren was just adorable all the time.
"Yes. I did." She repeated, patient as ever. One hand slid along his cheek to twirl the bit of chin fuzz while she watched him take in the changes that had occurred. "It happened just recently." LW added in a murmur. 'Recently' being about the time she returned home from the Isles.
Her lips twitched, a smile forming. "Just a little bit." And it was a little weird, she had to admit. Especially her feet. Of all things. But she'd had no problems in walking or dancing. After all, she was equally as used to being in her other form as she was her two-legged form!
LW felt little tingles of warmth spread up from her fingertips as he kissed them. She easily - and maybe eagerly - moved to curl up in his lap and lean against her boilfriend. It was one of her favorite spots to be. Sitting in his lap with his arms around her. It was truly the one time she felt absolutely safe. And always loved.
"You are such a charmer, aren't you?" She teased, giving him another kiss. "I wonder what else you are good at?" LW mused with a playful grin forming.

The giggling made him smile, regardless of his situation. LW's laugh was like the bells she wore - bright, loud, and cheerful, and he loved hearing it. To say a cliched term would be to say it was music to his ears, but Ren was nothing if not goofy at times.
"Yes, I would assume it just happened recently," he replied dryly, eyes flickering over the red on her fingers and hands, spreading up her arms and her legs from her toes. "Considering that I just barely saw you a few days ago, I would definitely say it's recent. But," he added, and smiled, leaning in to nuzzle his nose against the side of her face affectionately. "I have to say...it's rather appealing to me."
He curled his wings around the both of them, hugging LW tightly in his lap, and then snorted, shaking his head.
"Oh, I'm good at a lot of things," he said seriously, and looked down at her, a devilish smirk curling his lips upwards as he leaned towards her, their faces a mere inch apart. "Like, kissing, for instance."
And then he spent the next several moments proving this statement to her. After that, he pulled back, grinning as he pressed his lips against her forehead, wings fluttering.
"So," he said. "I hear there's this prom thing coming up."

Of course she giggled more. And may have had a pleasant flush to her cheeks hearing that yes, Ren liked the changes. It was funny how much she really felt giddy and full of fluttering butterflies hearing something as simple as that. But then, she loved the gryphon and anything he said made her heart feel warm.
"My, aren't you just full of it?" LW teased, giggling some more as his nose brushed against her cheek - and maybe twitching away out of reflex because that tickled! - then reaching up to tug a strand of his hair. "Really? You really do like it?" The she-wolf practically glowed, snuggling into Ren and pressing her lips to his neck. "Thank you." She murmured, lips curling up into that special smile.
LW glanced at the silky feathers surrounding them, eyes meeting her boilfriends. She gave him an amused look. "Really?" She paused. "You do know you can't do serious, right?" She giggled at him, her own lips twitching as that devilish smirk appeared. Her heart may have skipped a few beats as well.
And yes. Yes he was indeed good at kissing. Very good.
The she-wolf's eyes flickered back up to Ren's face. "Oh is it?" She tapped a finger against her chin. "Well I guess that means I need to find a date, don't I?" LW smirked, that mischievous glint flashing in her gaze. "I guess there is always Tybalt. Or maybe Sparrow?" She said innocently.
