 A voice calls out from the blackness. Music chimes from an old record player, the track sounding well worn from years of play and lingers upon the eerie sense. A single light flickers on and underneath it's spotlight stands a strange Pockettu adorned with feathers and festive colors. He bows to you, soon clasping his sleeved hands together. "Welcome! Welcome! Don't be shy~ Step right in and stay awhile! Who knows, you may find yourself never wanting to leave~" Raising his arms only to drop them, the blackness fades, the music livens, and all the lights flick on. The smell of delicious food fills the air, laughter can be heard, and people in all strange costumes can be found. Off in the distance you can see games and rides among a small circus tent. But could all this really be trusted? Oh, who cares... free food!

  They linger between a mixture of circuses, carnivals and festivals all thrown into one. People are encouraged to dress up and loose themselves to their nature otherwise hidden. They can be someone else for a day. That is what makes these carnivals so popular. It's a chance to dapple in the dark side of life with little to no regrets...
Oh? What? Sorry, trailed off there. *cough*
Here at the carnivals you can eat, dance, and party all night long. Play games, go on some rides, or watch the fireworks at midnight. But you should pay your respects to the God who makes this all possible.
During the First War, Venezia took a stance against the Cursed. But it was during that war he began to realize that perhaps they weren't so different. This idea has stuck with Venezia to this very day. In the Second War he found himself in an uneasy alignment with the Cursed General Morgana and Hexynia, the Goddess of Hellhounds against Antarmurr'ss, the God of Darkness and his allies. Although the alliance with the general fell through, Venezia relies heavily on Hexynia's support and considers her his greatest ally.
His fascination with the Cursed has never vanished. Many Gods have taken to believing Venezia is becoming Cursed himself. After the Second War, Venezia fell into a deep depression. Despite wanting to keep his followers safe they urged him to return to the war after retreating. He allowed those who wished to fight the ability to do so yet the image of seeing his fellow carnies mangled haunts him. He will never forgive the God of Darkness, nor the ones whom allied with him. Venezia wishes nothing more than to show everyone that they are just like the Cursed. Misunderstood, ridiculed, and forgotten. His latest actions of capturing a Cursed makes many uneasy. Breeding Rules with Other FollowersVenezia does not mind if his own followers breed among one another. He does have some rules baring other God followers though.Approved: * Hexynia - She is a tough Goddess not to be messed with. Venezia respects her and her views on her followers. He will allow his own followers to mingle with hers.
* Tyche - Venezia is very wary of Tyche but for now he will allow the mingling of followers.Disapproved: * Antarmur'ss - The two at once were on shakey yet good terms. Since the war, Venezia does not trust Antar or any of his followers. If any of Venezia's followers breed with one of Antar's, Venezia will curse the Pockettu and remove them from the carnival.
* * Synraehl - Ally of Antarmur'ss
* Willow - She is a good-aligned Goddess. Allied with Antarmurr'ss
* Lukarius: Ally of Antarmurr'ss
* Cursed - Breeding with any Cursed will result in instant termination from Venezia's carnival. The Pockettu will also be cursed for the rest of it's life and any breeding they will have will be cursed by Venezia as well. Potential deaths may occur as well.

To be anywhere else or to live any other way would be impossible. He is very loyal to those he loves, and even if Venezia does not accept him, this will always be his patron god, a source of strength to him like a cross or a prayer. But he is also a free spirit that sometimes challenges authority. Because of this, he may not always agree with, nor follow the orders of Venezia, but maybe that too will be a source of entertainment?

Secondarily Zev simply thinks there is no god better to be loyal to then the God of Carnival. He feels at home in the carnival scene. He likes performing his acrobatic tricks, sneaky pick pocketing, and chasing after escaped balloon strings.
