Aleister frowned, even after all the work it seemed there were still mobs holding up the dormitories. He figured maybe he should head back down and try to help clean up. Maybe sooner or later they could actually sleep in their own rooms again.
He was starting to get a bit jumpy again, trying to do dangerous things on his own always made him a little bit nervous. Especially since he knew there were larger creatures here to fight.
He paused to see if anyone happened to have followed him? Maybe he got lucky and someone wanted to check on the status of the dorms too?

He did get lucky, but in a sense, he was probably also unlucky, as the person who had decided to do a bit of Dorm clean up was Ariane... Not the best person to work with, really, unless you were already used or immune to her. When he looked around, she grinned, walking straight up to him as she summoned her weapon, preparing for the fight ahead, "Hey there~ You here to clean up the dorms too?"
She was getting really, really annoyed with having to sleep with everyone else. Besides, this was the last place they needed to clean up... She was sure that every other building was now more or less secured.

The death trainee nodded as he stood there looking around seeming a bit jumpy. "Y-yup. Figured we needed our rooms back." He answered.
He was fiddling with Pookie's chain. He'd already summoned the blitzball before he even came here. "H-hoping I don't run into another phoenix." Added before looking around again. He knew there were little terrors out here after all.
"Want to team up?" He added. It was better to do this in pairs anyways, at least to his knowledge it was.

"We do," She nodded in agreement, fingering the chains of her weapon, "Another phoenix? What phoenix?" The only 'phoenix' she knew of was the giant one that had caused this destruction in the first place. When asked about teaming up, she seemed to pause, taking her own sweet time to think about it before putting her arm on the hunter's shoulder, and using him as support as she leaned towards him.
"Isn't it rude to ask someone to team up without introducing yourself first, hm?"

Aleister paused, looking at her, "There's baby ones running around. Though I kinda prefer to call them Ho-oh's.... sounds less... intimidating."
He gave a nod, before pausing as she leaned on him. "O-ohhh..... uh..." He paused turning a bit red. "S-sorry. I'm Aleister." He said more nervous about the fact she was leaning on him when there was the potential of monster's jumping out at them and not watching their surroundings.

"Baby ones, huh? Interesting," She raised an eyebrow, stroking her chin briefly before laughing, "Aleister? I'm Ariane, and sure, I would love to kill some things with you. It's the perfect way to bond with a fellow hunter, after all~" It was hard to tell if she was joking.
"Let's go then," She hummed, walking ahead; once in the dorms, a creature formed from the fog and headed straight for them.

34-65: A large, semi-solid creature barrels into you! It's slow-moving but a bit more powerful than the smaller ones.

Aleister nodded, "Yup. It's not as big as the normal one, but.... it's pretty big for a monster." He said with a firm nod. "Nice to meet you." He added, tilting his head a bit looking a little confused when she said it was the perfect way to bond with fellow hunters.
He followed behind her kind of trying to keep an eye out in any direction possible, pausing when a creature formed and headed for them. Of course Aleister flinched a little, but it was just a small one... there wasn't any need to panic right? Right... he'd just aim pookie at the creature!
He managed to hit it and grinned slightly.

Ariane was starting to wonder if they would run into one of those 'small phoenixes'... Then again, she hadn't been that "lucky" on all of her 'island clean-up' trips, so probably not.
"Not bad," She grinned when his hit landed, causing the creature to change targets, running towards her instead. Raising one end of her weapon, she swung it down at it, sending it flying back, and crashing into a wall where it dissipated, "SCORE." Unlike him, she wasn't nervous about being surrounded by creepy fog - and fog monsters - at all.

Aleister nodded, as she said not bad. It really wasn't bad. Then she smacked it into a wall. He chuckled as she shouted score, "Did you use to play sports?"
Maybe if he could make small talk with the other death hunter he wouldn't feel so skittish. Maybe... the death trainee swung pookie back over his shoulders as he looked around. Were there more monsters? He wasn't really sure, and at the same time he wasn't sure he wanted to go looking for them. What if one of them were another baby phoenix?

"Sports? You could say that," She grinned, flexing a little; unlike him, Ariane didn't mind looking for monsters, mostly because it meant that the dorms would be cleaned out faster... She would like to have her own room back now, please.
Of course, apparently, she had jinxed her own so-called "good luck", as she soon sighted grey feathers... Followed by a rather chilling cry. She then spotted the source of said cry.
"Wow," She tightened her grip on her weapon, narrowing her eyes at the bird as it swooped down, heading straight for them, the fog parting and swirling where it goes, "I wish I was this lucky with raffles back home~" As she ducked the creature, she quickly moved to the wall, putting her back against it as she pulled out her phone.
"Aleister, distract it, kay? Jude got the text from a certain 'Wookie'. He stared at it for a long time before he just stood up from the cot he was resting on and gathered his stuff. This was going to be a long day he could just feel it much like he constantly felt Ariane's groping hand on his a** now even when she wasn't there at all.
It didn't take long for him to get to the dorms to see the large turkey that needed to be brought down and thus he summoned his weapon and moved forward to attack it only to get pelted by an attack from it instead. He wasn't ready for such a hard hit from a monster like this. He had to take a moment to recover while it spawned a new horror. OMG STATS JUDE'S STATS HP: 43/50 DMG: Nada. Cause he's a winner. Charge: 0/3 Death Stats: subtract 3 from auto damage BOSS STATSHP: 99 Auto DMG: 10 Extra: Use a -8 modifier. For every missed attack, another insanity monster spawns inside the area. If Eva was late to the action, it was because she was laughing too hard at the text.
"Sounds like a party!" She chirped cheerfully to Chara as she summoned her weapon in preparation. She had no doubt that the dorms were infested by monsters at this point, so it would be unwise to run through defenseless. "Wonder just what it is that Ariane has found for us."
Besides, you know. Blonds with tight asses.
And while that may have been a nice thing to wake up to, a giant insanity phoenix was not. The smile faltered on Eva's face for only a second before her lips curled into a grin. "Quite the predicament you have here, Ariane!" Running forward, she swing her staff up and around, feeling the blade cut through the insanity before she was suddenly sent flying back.
"Oof. Would be good to mention the giant crazy bird in your text next time though!"

Otto received a text. An interesting text. Sure, he didn't like Ariane, but he didn't like a lot of people. However, she promised target practice so why the hell not?
The small blonde jogged to the area, spotting the avian creature and rolling his eyes. Great job, Ariane. She stopped some distance back after summoning Tenya, and chucking the large boomerang toward the ariel enemy.

As the blonde army - and one Eva - arrived, she quickly recovered from the whole 'oh whoops, I probably jinxed myself' thing. To Otto, she flashed a grin, and to Jude... Well, a slap to the a**. It was filled with gratitude, really.
"Oh, but Eva, that's what the 'action' in the text meant," She winked, petting Jude's butt wtice, "Here, you should-" She paused to swing her weapon at the creature, which had flown too close for comfort, before continuing, "-try it. Maybe on Otto, someone who is closer to your age~"
Turning to Aleister, her grin widened, "Guys, this is Aleister. Aleister, meet Otto, Jude, Eva, and... There should be one more-"

Jeremy stared up at the Phoenix above them, and then down at Ariane, and back up at the Phoenix. B| Really. REALLY?! She had been doing this to him for years now, and yet he still fell for it every time; he should have known though, even outside of Ariane being Ariane. After all, these damn things were everywhere.
Elsie was summoned and Jeremy gripped her chains, briefly swinging her (WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!) heavy face-anchor and smashing her into the stupid grey thing that made Ariane trick him. The vibrations of the hit, plus a nice little flick from a wing tip as it passed, had him grumbling.

Afterwords, Ariane was stared at again. "I hate you, by the way." B|
