So this is where we kind of plan out the plots and stuff. Right now we're introducing characters but hopefully that will all change.

We can't fix everyone's problems at once. I've been roleplaying for several years (10) and I know if there isn't a plan then people will just stop posting. I can not allow that to happen.

My Humble Opinions on possible changes and plans.

1. Two different people should be playing Sam and Dean. I understand why at first there was only one person doing them because there wasn't enough people. There are enough people now. We need to figure out how to make that work. If this happens I believe there will be more posts. This way the captain does not have to be posting every single day as Sam and Dean in order to keep the story going.

2. There should be a set period for the frequency of posting. I check everyday for a post. I know people are busy but one post a day actually does not take up much of your time. If you're a native speaker of a language besides English I would make some acceptations.

3. Silver and Emily should not have the same color text. It's a way to tell apart who is speaking in the post. I'm very visual. So if we use color it makes sense to use different ones. Emily could be this. Unless someone is color blind. If that is so then we probably shouldn't use colors at all. XD

4. Try to keep your rants short. Give the person you're ranting to a chance to reply. It's really just common courtesy.

Well I know how easy it is for a person running an rp to get stressed. I'm a very experienced role player and would be willing to take Sam off her hands if she gets overwhelmed. Sometimes playing more than one person can be tricky and I want to make this as fun as I can.

Erm… This may seem really ridiculous of me to jump in after a miniature period of not being able to do any posting but I'm back now.

So, heres where I say, hello to everyone, and I'm up for roleplaying and assisting the guild. Before I can really begin though, I'm gonna need a little help figuring out what the heck I'm suppose to do before I do something wrong. eek

Go on and look it up. Mustangs have been in Races longer than Firebirds. By default My car wins. razz

My Firebird is souped up anyway. Plus Emily added something special that she hasn't used yet razz

I'd also like to add another back story to Elaine. One where she fell in love with a boy who was murdered when she was younger. Then she'd have Katy Perry's "The One That Got Away" for that theme. It's for future events. I love making complex characters.

Okay, well basically if you read through the RP you'll see that each person's character uses a different color. Some people post their entire piece in that color, some people only post dialogue in that color and the rest in black. Either one works just great, but if you're going to have more than one character talking and they're going to be interacting with each other (such as MetalRocker11712 doing Sam, Dean, and Emily) then you'll want to do just dialogue in color so that it helps to differentiate between characters.

Also, everyone has dibs on plot developments and everyone can make things happen. The only thing you can't do is make someone else's character do something. For example, if your character Brad says "I like potatoes" or something, you can eat potatoes, you can throw potatoes at someone, you can plant potatoes and plan to harvest them in the fall. But you can't have, say, Dean nod his head, reply that he also likes potatoes, eat potatoes with you, catch the potatoes you've thrown, or help you plant your potatoes.

Another thing: you can write a longer post if it deals mainly with your character's thoughts or feelings. However, really long posts where you do a lot of stuff can mess up the time passage for the other characters in the RP. So, if you're planting potatoes, going through the whole process of digging the holes, putting the seed potatoes in the ground, watering them, fertilizing them, and taking a shower after because you're all sweaty, don't do it all in one post. Just dig the holes in your first post. You can plant the seed potatoes in the second post, and maybe even water/fertilize them too. Then you'd have to shower in the following post. You never know, too. Another character could always steal your seed potatoes so that you can't plant your potatoes. It's part of the RP-everybody gets the chance to make things happen.

The only other thing that I can think of right now is to make sure that, should you decide to do something, you know what you're talking about. Unless your character is supposed to come off as ignorant, should you post something about anything you're not completely solid on when it comes to the facts, do a little research beforehand. Otherwise, you stand the chance of getting corrected.

I originally thought that it would be best for MetalRocker11712 to answer your question, but since she hasn't and I know that she is going through some crazy stuff right now, I figured that I'd take the liberty as Vice Captain of the guild and offer my best advice.
