If evil were a lesser breed than justice, after all these years the righteous would have freed the world of sin.

[ NAME ] - Glaucon [ KNOWN TITLES ] - The Verdict of Midas, ... [ MEANINGS ] - In Greek mythology, Midas was not only the fabled king who turned everything he touched to gold, but a mortal who had the bravery to disagree with the gods about the results of a music contest between Pan and Apollo. Apollo is said to have cursed Midas with the ears of a donkey for admitting he enjoyed Pan's music more.
Glaucon was a character in many of Plato's dialogues, including his Republic, which sought a concrete definition for justice.
[ DOMAIN ] - Judgment
[ CONCEPT ] - Weigher of Virtues and Deeds, judges the souls of Aoidei when they die based on how well they performed their duty as a muse, possibly deals in the affairs of other gods when the situation calls for it. Assists in the writings of laws that mortal societies are built on, and in some circles is seen as a moral guide of sorts. He's the side of Justice that makes decisions, casts verdicts and writes laws, while the female aspect might be the one to take action when there's an injustice. Thought to occasionally assist Underworld in the judgment of mortal souls, and probably was called on by mortals once in a while for similar reasons.
[ EYES ] - Orange-gold, both sclera and iris. [ HAIR ] - Inky black, short, growing two longer locks in the front. The one on the right side of his face has taken on a fiery gold color. [ SKIN ] - Caucasian, fading to orange-gold starting at mid-forearm and mid-calf. [ WINGS ] - Orange-gold sets of divinely sharpened blades. They are rigid and seem to serve more as decoration than anything else in this stage. [ FRAME ] - Average height, frail [ OTHER ] - At this stage he still possesses much of his host's general scruffiness. He's also inherited David's physical shortcomings, meaning he still needs a cane to get around, but he is making a (very) slow and steady recovery as time goes on.
[ PERSONALITY ] - Intelligent and introspective, but holier-than-thou and... well, judgmental. Glaucon has the idea that if people were inherently good, dieties of Justice would have no reason to exist -- as such, he can be more than a little pessimistic and constantly props himself up on a moral pedestal when dealing with others. He's usually serious in his expressions, either lost in thought, looking-down-upon or downright irritable, but will occasionally manage a smarmy smile.
On the surface, and perhaps even a bit deeper down, Glaucon's persona is befitting a philosopher regarding society or a judge in the courthouse. He is stony, professional, and very, very verbose. Few ideas are simple when he's the one expressing them, which can make him a bit frustrating to deal with -- and, of course, a little boring.
Dour and wary, he's quick to seek out the virtues and faults in others around him, and judge them by those qualities. He is eager to praise, but also just as willing to condemn, and as such he can make enemies just as easily as he can make friends. He likes to think that he has practical standards for what makes a good person (wisdom, courage, and temperance being the top three qualities), and does not hesitate to be honest about it. Others, obviously, may disagree with him. Unfortunately, Glaucon tends to form grudges against those who do.
As a god of social justice, he is inherently more closely tied to mortal affairs than others of his kin might be, though that doesn't necessarily mean he has a greater capacity to understand them than other dieties. Rather, he is obsessed with social order, believing that it is conducive for the prosperity of mortals and ultimately of the gods as well. By extension, he believes he knows what's best for a prosperous society, and aspires to bring his views to the mortals around the Pantheon in some way.
Ultimately, this deity is a creature of thought more than he is a creature of action. He prefers planned, practical solutions over instinctive, impassioned ones. This means that he is very good at thinking through a situation, and setting aside ill feelings in order to get to work -- but on the flip side, his capacity to act on intuition and react to spontaneity is practically nonexistent. In short: he's essentially a bureaucrat.
Occasionally he is capable of displays of sympathy, but only for those he has taken a liking to, and even then it is a bit hard to come by. This follows a trend of general near-emotionlessness he attributes to his work. He adheres to the rhetoric of Justice more than he does to the spirit, which means he will approach his duties as the god of Judgment with a great deal of efficiency... but very little passion.
[ LIKES ] - Debates, virtuous individuals, well-structured societies, peace, solitude, a good book once in a while [ DISLIKES ] - Anarchy, wickedness, ignorance (especially the stubborn kind), petty conflicts
[ ABILITIES ] Order in the Court : Judgement can, if a there is a dispute at hand, declare a room a ‘court’ in the eyes of The Crown. This space then becomes neutral ground for all gods, ageless immortals and mortals. Weapons cannot be drawn and offensive magic cannot be used. The duration of this enforced, zone armistice is only a couple days at the very most.
Minor Geas : Judgement can be passed, whether of obligation or prohibition. By minor, this means that the orders of the Geas cannot be severe…the magic simply wouldn’t work. An Example – sentencing a felon to sleep only out of doors on the ground for the next year is OK. Sentencing them to sleep on piled razorblades (probably fatal after none too long) - NOT okay. The Geas works on all mortals, immortals and gods. This is not to say that murderers can’t be sentenced by Judgement, just that his power of enforcing a geas on the person for them to act out on themselves is not strong enough to enact fatal or crippling fates. If he wants a murderer to be put to death, he must find someone to or do it himself.

 [ NAME ] - David Stone [ AGE ] - 27 [ GENDER ] - Male [ OCCUPATION ] - Host; freeloader
[ EYES ] - Blue [ HAIR ] - Inky black, short and poorly maintained [ SKIN ] - Caucasian [ FRAME ] - Average height; embarassingly frail [ OTHER ] - Five-o-clock shadow, soul patch. Overall he looks pretty scruffy.
[ WEAKNESS ] - Multiple sclerosis renders his body stubborn and unreliable. He can't walk very far without the aid of a cane, and as of his relapse caused by the Gehenna wave he can no longer touch his own forehead with his hands.
[ PERSONALITY ] - At his very worst, David is crass, rude, and verbally aggressive, using acid insults to shove people away and keep them out of his sphere of trust. He has known of his short life expectancy for a few years, and his abrasiveness is a result of that, coming out of his fears of getting too close to people and of being seen as weak. For him, being known for a disagreeable personality is better than being known for a disability than the one he has, and he'll leap to make that first impression if he feels that someone's about to think too much about the latter trait. He is uncomfortable about acts of kindness and charity, percieving them as expressions of pity - overall, he takes his illness a lot more seriously than he thinks other people do, even if he tries to casually play it off.
When he's not complaining about something or badmouthing someone, he tends to joke around quite a bit, though there is a general tone of sarcasm and bluntness in his manner of speaking that fails to leave no matter how cheerful he is. He is rarely afraid to hide his opinions on anything from anyone - in recent events, he cursed out the ruler of a city-state in the middle of an important meeting, and would probably do the same to a god had he the chance and something worth saying. This willingness to speak his mind has shown to give him the ability to take charge and get people moving in crisis situations. In a more opportune setting, he might have made for a decent leader.
[ LIKES ] - Techno and rock music, iced tea, olives, weed, leather couches, dogs [ DISLIKES ] - Stairs, tall shelves, wooden chairs, suffocatingly nice people, being called 'Dave', being stuck in a fantasy world
[ SKILLS ] - He's surprisingly decent at riding horses, even in his weakened physical state.

Eudocia is a neurotic pile of guilt - which is understandable, seeing how her master is the one who determines what happens to Aoidei after they die. When she isn't worried about how just she's being, however, she can be a rather cheerful individual who, like your typical servant, is very eager to please her Lord. It's unknown what position she served in the past, but as of now she is Glaucon's personal attendant of sorts.

Libra hasn't been introduced yet! ouo
