Second chances they don't ever matter, people never change Once a whore you're nothing more, I'm sorry, that'll never change And about forgiveness, we're both supposed to have exchanged I'm sorry honey, but I'm passing up, now look this way...Aoi arrived at school earlier than she wanted to because she forgot to set the alarm clock to the right time, it was ten hours ahead and when she awoke and saw the time she rushed to put on her clothes and shoved a bagel into her mouth and ran toward the school. After realizing that she was actually early and not late Aoi walked into the school gardens and sat on a nearby bench. "What should I do?" Aoi questioned to herself as she stood from the bench and stretched, she wide awake and energized after her nap. She pulled her hat down making sure her ears were covered, "Cat tac kla ka cat, cat claws." Her nails grew six inches long and she began to attack a nearby tree after a few swipes the tree fell onto the ground, she walked up to a bush and did the same. Aoi smiled and continued to do this and didn't plan to stop anytime soon. Well there's a million other girls who do it just like you Acting as innocent as possible to get to who They want and what they like it's easy if you do it right Well I refuse, I refuse, I refuse...

❝ --- What are you an idiot? ❞
Olivia was napping on top of a tree until it began shaking. She woke up a little dizzy and rubbed her eyes. " The hecks going on?" she thought as she looked down to see some girl scratching at the tree. " Cripes!" she said as the tree fell. She had jumped off in time and landed a few feet away from the tree. " Man, that was my favorite tree..." she said rubbing the back of her head. She looked around for the girl that was responsible and saw the the girl was scratching up a bush. " Hey, you! Don't go making trees fall while someone is sleeping in it." she yelled over to her. Olivia's gas mask covered up the bottom half of her face as she crossed her arms to see if the cat girl would reply. She gave out a sight and scratched her head and stretched up. She was having a perfectly good nap. She looked at her watch to see that class has yet to start and went over to a bench and sat down. " Wonder where Henrietta is. She's probably taking forever in the shower again." she thought. ❝ --- You think you got what it takes to mess with me?! ❞

Her nails went back to there normal size and Aoi began to walk toward the girl in the gas mask, had she seen everything? Did she hear her make the incantation? Hopefully she didn't or Aoi would have to think of a lie to tell this girl and she wasn't good at lying. "Henrietta? Who's that?" Aoi questioned as she sat next to the girl and stared at her for a while, "What's the mask for?" Olivia's eyebrow perked up. She knew that she only thought about Henrietta. DId she read her mind? She looked over to see her coming near her. " Don't worry about it." she said crossing her arms. " You sire do ask a lot of questions. Henrietta's my partner. She's a bit stiff, but I'm use to her now." she said. A smile came onto her face as she talked asked about the mask. It was a gift of victory for defeating Jecht when she left. " It's a gift I got from an important friend." she said picking it up and looking down at it. She looked over at the girl and looked at her nails. " You had some pretty long nails while scratching up that tree." she said as an eye brow perked up. Olivia stood up and stretched. She looked at her nails and which were coated in pink nail polish. She can never keep her nails neat. Henrietta would always have to do them for her. She never really liked dolling up or anything. Unless she was forced to or it would benefit her. She gave out a sigh and looked back at the other girl. " So what's your name you?" she asked putting her hands in her pocket. ❝ --- You think you got what it takes to mess with me?! ❞

She said with a shrug as she tried to explain her oversized nails while attacking the tree, that was a good lie, right? Aoi smiled lightly as she looked at the girl and then to the ground, making eye contact after a lie always made her laugh uncontrollably. "I'm Aoi, Aoi Senju the blac..." She stopped mid-sentence and looked back at the ground, she was used to introducing herself as Aoi Senju, the black cat witch, not just Aoi Senju she would have to get used to introducing herself like this from now on. Olivia nodded her head. She's seen lying better than that, but she probably had her reasons to. " Nice to meet you. I'm Olivia Neushwansteein." she said pointing her thumb at her. She scratched her head as she looked up at the sky. " God, where's Henrietta?! She's gonna be late if she takes too long!" said Olivia as she turned around from Aoi as she tapped her feet impatiently. She had her arms crossed and her mad face was on. She let out a sigh. " I guess I'll see her at the cafeteria. Olivia did come without eating breakfast today. She turned her glance towards Aoi. "Hey Aoi. Wanna catch some breakfast? We're here kinda early. We'll probably get the good stuff before its gone. Hehe." walking up to her.
Olivia grabbed on to Aoi's hand. "Come on. Don't just sit there. Let's hurry!" she said as she dragged her to the cafeteria.

"I'm not that hungry, I ate a big breakfast and would barf if I ate anymore." She said as she tried to walk the other way but couldn't escape the girl's grasp. She was actually starving, a bagel for breakfast wasn't a very filling meal maybe going to the cafeteria wouldn't be a bad thing. She tugged on her hat once more making sure it wouldn't fall off while she was walking. ҉ Dominik E. Alabaster ҉ Soul Guard Level: Maximum Concentration || Soul Corrosion Status: Under Control╔═══════════════════════════════════════════╗ "Stopping this corrosion of my soul seems to be impossible..."╚═══════════════════════════════════════════╝ Finally escaping the hallways of DWMA, Dominik was able to find some time to relax for a good hour or so. Having resisted the urge to break away from everything for a brief moment in time, this was his time to do so. No one around during this time of day to interrupt his rest from reality and nothing in his mental schedule to intrude on the serenity of the wonderful garden that was before the young meister. A perfect spot within the shade of the tree caught his interest after scanning the area with his darkened eyes. Sliding off the satchel that held his numerous books and belongings and placing it at his side, Dominik began to shift his hand around to grasp at some of the contents to his bag as he sat in the spot he discovered. The boy pulled a book out along with a can of green tea to enjoy with the read. Unlike the other books that was kept in his possession, this one was not of research for souls. In fact it was a log of poems and short stories that Dominik extremely liked. Flipping through a couple of the pages to find his previous mark left from reading it the day before, the meister's mind was able to clear itself and embrace the calm after having to deal with the corrosion that made itself apparent just a few minutes ago in the library.
The day was beautiful outside. The only noise that surfaced were the natural sounds of the life that blossomed in the garden. The luscious trees rustling their leaves to the wind. A chirp here and there from a bird or two. There was an abundance of peace and serenity that filled the air, and though Dominik was never a fan of nature, he felt himself drift away with his book supplemented from the sounds that surrounded him. All of his thoughts and fears for the day left his mind and all that was left was the concentration upon his soul. Dominik could easily picture the sight in his mind, as he did so every waking moment of his life. A gray tinted soul with this unnatural bloody red color creeping in on it like a morning mist. Even though his mind and body were to be at rest, his concentration on his soul could never be lifted. The smallest hesitation in doing so would allow that darkness creep further around his soul until it was devoured by it. As much as he wanted it, Dominik could never know true relaxation because of this. It was a fact that he accepted years ago and has been comfortable with the feeling.
Before he knew it time was passing as he read on with his poems and scripts between the pages of the book his eyes laid upon. Letting the imagery pull him into the world known as fiction to better understand each transcript's meaning and true purpose for being written. Indulging himself with each line he read, his eyes darting back and forth before his fingers swiftly turned the pages to continue reading. Now and again Dominik would take a moment to reflect what he had just read for a better understanding as to the inner workings to the literature and take mental notes on the authors and what drove them to be motivated enough to express their feelings on the pages he read. Being caught in one after finishing a revised version for the script of "Waiting for Godot", Dominik found himself deep into thought as he stared out with no specific sight to fixate his gaze on. To anyone looking at him, they would just see a sulky look upon his face with a sharp glare in his eyes sharp enough to cut the trees that stood in the beautiful garden he sat in. ╔════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ "...But what is possible is keeping my proper composure before my soul rots." ╚════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

The sun was out, but it was a nice cool day. She stood still, her eyes closed, and let the light breeze blow through her hair, and the numerous sounds of chirping birds take over her senses. She inhaled slowly, taking in the many scents of flowers and other plants. After a moment of what she saw as true peacefulness, she opened her eyes and looked around. She quickly noticed Dominik, whom she had passed in the library less than an hour before this moment. The expression he showed on his face looked as if he was watching everything, and nothing as he contemplated what he had been reading, and yet, Faiyth could tell he seemed alone; not just that there was no one else with him, but that he perhaps wanted it that way.
Despite that thought, the raven haired girl approached him with soft quiet steps, careful not to startle him or scare him off. She had enough of that with the rest of the students in the school whenever she approached them. If there was one thing she understood, it was being alone. It was a feeling she hated more than any other. She stopped a few feet from Dominik, her sky-blue eyes staring down at him. "Hello" she muttered quietly, her nervousness clear in her voice, as if she had been almost afraid to speak. "I've seen you in the library almost every day. You always seem...happy...when you have a book in your hands" she smiled lightly "I read a lot of books as well" ✭►☗☨☗☨☗☨☗☨☗☨☗☨☗◄✭ 【✭►"..."Please relieve me of this loneliness..."◄✭】 ✭►☗☨☗☨☗☨☗☨☗☨☗☨☗◄✭ ((O.O.C: ...)) ҉ Dominik E. Alabaster ҉ Soul Guard Level: Maximum Concentration || Soul Corrosion Status: Under Control╔═══════════════════════════════════════════╗ "Stopping this corrosion of my soul seems to be impossible..."╚═══════════════════════════════════════════╝ The thoughts continued on as the world seemed to disappear around him. Something was amiss this time around. Dominik couldn't place a finger on it, that is until a voice spoke out to break the silence. The meister's eyes shot towards the direction where it came from. What stood next to him was a girl, younger than him possibly. Her voice sounded uneasy, as if she wasn't used to talking to others. If that was so, why approach someone? Dominik of all people would be the last person anyone would like to have a conversation with, and yet this girl had approached him. 'Why...?' is all Dominik could muster in his head while trying to figure out her purpose. His head still faced the book as his sharp eyes gazed at the girl from the side. "Its not the books I enjoy reading, rather the ability to read them in an area undisturbed by anyone." There was a slight tone of being annoyed within his voice as he spoke the words as if he was justifying the statement of being left alone to read. 'Happy..? Do I really look 'happy' while doing my research..?' The girls words left an impression in his thoughts. The mere fact of just researching the properties of the soul in order to cure his own sickened him inside. The only thing he ever clung to was the hope that something could aid in ridding the darkness that resided in his soul.
Trying to turn his thoughts away from it all his eyes darted back to the pages that lied open before him. Reading the last few lines he knew that this girl would probably persist to staying after throwing herself into the open like this and try to converse more with him. 'Well my break was nice while it lasted' His mouth parted slightly to let a small sigh out before bending the corner of the page he left off in and shutting the book. His eyes remained on the book even though it was closed before responding back towards the girl. "If you see me almost everyday, why choose now to talk to me of all times...?" The question was a simple one, but Dominik just wanted to know the reasoning behind her choosing to talk to him at all. Possibly he could get an understanding why she had an interest in him at all. Without realizing it, the annoyed tone he had before was not present in the question, but more like that of a scientist prodding for an unknown answer. The young meister took his free hand to push up his glasses that had slid into an uncomfortable position on his nose, hoping for a response to his question to determine the girl's curiosity along with filling his own. ╔════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ "...But what is possible is keeping my proper composure before my soul rots." ╚════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

She stared at him as he questioned her motives for speaking to him. 'Why did I talk to him?' she questioned herself in her head, staring at him. Normally, she never would have even approached him, and yet here she stood, attempting to have a conversation. "I guess I..just wanted someone to talk to" she finally forced herself to admit, a hint of sadness in her voice. "None of the other students ever talk to me, and I see you alone a lot" she continued. ҉ Dominik E. Alabaster ҉ Soul Guard Level: Near Maximum Concentration || Soul Corrosion Status: Under Control╔═══════════════════════════════════════════╗ "Stopping this corrosion of my soul seems to be impossible..."╚═══════════════════════════════════════════╝ It seemed as though the girl that had approached Dominik had yet to discern herself why she even began to speak in the first place. From the sound of her voice, uncertainty and question was apparent. 'What a pity...' The meister thought as his eyes kept focused on his book. He referred not to her action or tone of voice, but the start of a thread that lied beyond that: sadness. It seemed as something he would say in that position, but never would he try to push himself to do something so rash. The loathing statement of thought was towards himself. Dominik would not and could not do what she had done: reach for someone like her. Of course his reasons for being alone differed from hers but the feeling of loneliness and exile was all the same. Finally, as if all this time he needed a reason to do so, his head turned away from the book and his eyes looked upon her face to at least identify the girl who bravely stepped out her shell to confront him. Dominik's hand moved away from his glasses to rest upon his lap to not let his own face to be obscured as he thought it fair that she see his.
This 'friend' that she pointed out was unknown to Dominik. There were friends that he had, only himself. His thoughts and conversations were only with himself and for himself. Personal reflection and study of his own psyche were what he used to vent what was stuck in his head, and it never crossed his mind to speak to another person about anything. Then again, he had reasons for doing so but he preferred the solitude and had grown used to it. But that was just it. He had become so comfortable with the fact of being alone it stuck with him all these years. Ever since that fateful day, Dominik hasn't opened up to a single person in his life up to this point. The same probably has gone for the girl that stood in front of him. Though she did seem well on the looks, it didn't matter. Loneliness is just like a burden upon the soul, and burdens are carried within each and every soul that lives on this planet. Finally, Dominik chose to speak in reply to her comment after what seemed to be a second or two gazing at her in thought with a stern look in his eyes. "I don't have any friends, and you don't need any to talk to if you have something on your mind." He spoke, knowing full well he was a prime example of the statement that just slipped out his lips. Though instead of a cold tone in his voice, it contained just a slight amount of sadness as she gave him. He noticed it just after he said it, but didn't seem to mind at all that he gave away part of his true disposition. The grip he kept on the book tightened somewhat not in anger, but in sorrow. Letting someone he had never met before see through him as such seemed to give a pain to his soul. The feeling was uneasy, and he couldn't tell if it was disappointment from sharing thoughts with someone else or from not being used to sharing them in the first place. ╔════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ "...But what is possible is keeping my proper composure before my soul rots." ╚════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝ [[OOC: Lol, thanks. She could feel the sadness in his words. He was like her. Their situations were likely different, but there was a definite similarity between them. She could tell that he was struggling inside. She was aware of what it was, but she could see it in his eyes, and his face. She smiled down at him, this smile looking almost natural "Having someone around can be a great benefit. They can help hold you up when your troubles seem too heavy for you to stand on your own" she said, a slight nervousness returning in her voice. "I am a weapon, and I don't have a partner. ҉ Dominik E. Alabaster ҉ Soul Guard Level: Faint Concentration || Soul Corrosion Status: Slipping From Control╔═══════════════════════════════════════════╗ "Stopping this corrosion of my soul seems to be impossible..."╚═══════════════════════════════════════════╝ What the girl spoke of was the truth, though Dominik couldn't explain it first hand. He knew that her words held some sort of light on the situation that he has never experienced till now: a bond forming between two people. The emotion was definitely foreign to him and he couldn't pin an exact definition to it, for now. Realizing his tight grip upon his book, Dominik eased his hand to slip the book safely inside his satchel. 'This girl...' He thought, only to notice they never exchanged names at all. Funny it was to him though, someone so bent on being properly composed to forget simple mannerisms as such. At that moment, he could only think of his only goal to have his soul die away attempting to be in order as much as his body's posture was. Before long he simply questioned himself why he chose that when that night occurred. Was it the madness putting an obsession over his soul, just as it is destined for all Kishin to have a fear or obsession? Or was it something else? The feelings to want people to accept him in death? Dominik couldn't know at this instant, nor would he possibly ever. What was going on now demanded more of his attention and thought as he turned his attention away from his bag to face back at the girl who was smiling down at him. Why could she ever be smiling? Dominik wouldn't bother asking that question in his head, nor respond to it because the answer was so simple it didn't require an inquiry. It was because she found someone who she could compare with.
Positioning himself up against the tree, Dominik was just about to give a smile back to her when it began once more: the corrosion. All this time of relaxing under the tree was about as much as his soul could handle without his attention, but with it being diverted for so long as a few minutes like this would begin a torrent of conflict in his soul as the erosion would try to consume him. Halfway getting up, his head facing the ground, Dominik's eyes shot open with fear. A stabbing pain thrust through him as if a sword had just been pierced through his entire chest. The hand that gripped the tree for support dug into bark to the point where the tree's hardened skin began to crack from the intense power behind his fingers. Breath soon became irregular as Dominik gasped for air, the pain intensifying on his soul and in his chest. The meister quickly turned away from the girl in order to try to hide the agony in which he was going through. The free hand that was left quickly covered his mouth in order to muffle and groans or cries of pain should they escape his mouth.
The breathing became heavier as a slight wave of madness escaped his soul. The wavelength could easily be felt by the weapon, and anyone else around in the areas surrounding the gardens. Dominik's sight started to fade as he tried desperately to get everything under control again, but to no avail. Concentration became harder and harder as the seconds counted off. Focused solely on the preservation of his soul, the meister forgot all about his encounter with the weapon wishing to become his partner and the girl that stood in front of him. The only thing in his mind was to concentrate on his soul before the erosion continued its rampage inside of him. Not even being able to let out a word back to the weapon, she would more than likely be left in confusion as to the madness wavelength that peeked itself from Dominik's soul and what he was even going through without explanation. "Dammit...!" was the only thing he could mutter through his pain. His voice sounded harsh, as if the life within him was being squeezed out. A crackling sound shot through the air as his hand finally broke through the bark of the tree from his grip, the jagged splinters launching out from the area of the tree where it had been split. Soon blood quickly dripped down from the meister's hand as he struggled to prop himself up against the tree while he regained his composure and thoughts. ╔════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ "...But what is possible is keeping my proper composure before my soul rots." ╚════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝ [[OOC: I'm sure if you put your heart into it you could do so.
