Appearance: The girl has bright orange hair, grey eyes, light green skin and pointy teeth. Her skin is patterned with series of dots that run in spirals up her arms, down the back of her neck and down the right side of her face to her neck. They are always in lines.
The most interesting thing to note about her body is a dull, metal piece that seems attached to her body. It has a circular disk on it that is engraved with concentric circles. The rest of it dangles freely but this circle is attached, as though it is fused with the bones of her chest. There is one exactly the same on her back, which lines up exactly with the one on her chest. She will not let anyone touch the two circles.
Name: Dwarrow
Age: Unknown, about seventeen by appearance
Biography: Dwarrow is a species rather than a name. This girl is a dwarrow, a water person. She was found stranded on the beach, gasping for air and completely unknowing of her surroundings. When the humans came she didn't know how to talk to them. She couldn't tell them why she was lying on the beach. She couldn't know whether it was safe to go to them. She didn't know where they would take her. She was an easy catch.
The men took her to a place with lots of people. They all looked her over and babbled like any other land animal. They'd lift her arms, look at her mouth and inspect every part of her. It wasn't unpleasant, she simple didn't understand it all. The lots of people took her to new people, who took her on a journey to a place with other people. They took her into a building and placed her in a room. Sometimes other people would come to look at her but they all left soon after. Sometimes they brought strange foods for her to eat but every time she ate them she felt like falling asleep.
It seemed forever to the dwarrow until she was taken out of the room. She was placed in the hands of new people who put her into the side of a moving land-whale that growled. It had see-through skin that was cold to touch and she could see the terrestrial world moving about her. She got tired and her eyes hurt even trying to keep up with where she was going. They gave her more food and she slowly fell asleep.
Personality: The young dwarrow seems passive enough most of the time. She's quite and very docile, at least unless you touch her. The moment someone lays a hand upon her, even to guide her, she bites. Her biting hurts too. Imagine someone staring up, into your eyes as they latch onto your hand. You hear the bones crunch but you cannot pull your hand away, not until you cry out for help and she lets go. If you point at her regalia she'll also bare her teeth in warning. So far she hasn't revealed much of a personality beyond that. It's almost like she's waiting for something.
Abilities/Powers: Passive aeromancy: Dwarrows normally cannot breath air. They can suck enough oxygen from the water in their lungs and on their skin to sustain themselves. Breathing air burns their lungs and makes them dizzy from oxygen overload.
This young dwarrow is only able to breathe air because she has a passive air magic ability. She has the power there but she cannot access it. She cannot cast spells, she cannot control the air around her but she can sense still sense it. She's never had so much air around her though. It's like all these new senses in every single place all around her. It's almost dizzying to feel everything around her. She's actually grateful her food was drugged while she was getting used to the new environment. She'd been focusing on using her aeromancy to breathe. At first she couldn't do it, which was why she was gasping on the beach, but now she can breathe normally. It just takes a bit of focus.
