It didn't take long for Sasha to hurry back to the bunker. Her thoughts were spiraling wildly out of control; the sting of self-loathing burned in the back of her mind. She'd actually gone through her Division Leader's belongings. Not only had she gone through them, Sasha had actually taken the picture and the note - neither of which belonged to her.
Bitter confusion mixed with questions both old and new - the flute, her papa's things… what were the valuables that were mentioned in the note? Why had the doctor had them retrieved? Who was V, and why did the doctor have a small figurine that looked eerily similar to Sasha?
The constant swirl of unanswered questions were hinting at the start of a headache, and in truth the only thing that Sasha wanted to do was to sleep. A deep healing sleep before she forced herself to face the realizations she'd come to. It was still hard for her to believe that... that everything had happened the way it had, but.. sleep first, and she could deal with it later.
When she saw Jerry and Rin milling about near the entrance to the bunkers, Sasha faltered. Her mouth tightened for a brief moment before she forced herself to continue onward, smoothing her hands down the front of the lovely pink dress. Her face was pale and she was slightly disheveled, but she looked unharmed. Her expression was not entirely welcoming - in truth, she didn't look sociable, not at all.

They had been waiting long enough that Jerry had taken a seat on the floor, looking exhausted and nervous, pulling his coat around himself as though freezing cold. His hair was puffy, dry since his shower and unbrushed, but at least he wasn't covered in yuck.
At the sound of footsteps, he glanced up.
At the sight of her, he froze for a moment before gripping the wall to pull himself unsteadily to his feet.

Rin had been waiting across from Jerry and as soon as he moved her gaze shot over in the direction of what had his attention so raptly.
She was so clueless to how irritable Sasha was feeling, even grinning ear to ear as she opened her arms wide to squeal, "Sasha!" deep in her throat.

Sasha faltered again, the smile she'd plastered on her lips cracking for a split second. She wanted to be alone, she wanted time to think about the things she'd observed. Sasha needed a moment to reconstruct herself; the woman was emotionally spent. Working in the school, clearing out the fog, it had been a welcome distraction from the list. The shadowy figure and the hidden room, the music… while surreal, had been an escape, as well.
She wasn't quite ready to deal with all of this yet. Not yet. Sasha didn't want to explain everything.
Slipping her hand into her pocket, Sasha brushed her fingers against the glossy surface of the picture she'd taken from the doctor's office. A bolster of determination. She could just quickly reassure them that she was fine, then excuse herself.
"Rin," Sasha cleared her throat, turning her gaze to Jerry. She gave him a stiff smile, but made no move to reach out to the raven-haired woman that was so excited to see her.
"What are you.. why are you two out here?"

"I w-wanted... wanted to... to be sure you... you were..." Jerry floundered, his voice soft. She seemed unharmed.
She had even changed her clothes.
"I'm... I'm so sorry..." He breathed, but made no move to bombard her, hovering against the wall shyly.

Rin wilted somewhat at the greeting they had received... was it because they didn't save her? Didn't stop the shadow creature? Did they let Sasha down?
Many thoughts cycled through the woman's head as she just gave Sasha a look of forlorn. She was sorry Sasha.

A corner of Sasha's mouth lifted as she glanced between the two of them. Irrational ribbons of red-hot fury unfurled in her gut; Sasha squelched them, clenching her jaw before she forced a smile onto her lips. They didn't know what she was feeling. They couldn't know that she simply wanted to curl up in a ball with her flute and the photo clutched to her chest.
"I'm fine," she mumbled softly, squeezing Rin's shoulder as she moved past the other woman, slowly shuffling in Jerry's direction.
"I'm fine, you two. I'm.. a lot happened."
She cleared her throat, sounding strangled when she mumbled, "The doctor..."

He winced. The doctor had saved her. Of course. He wasn't sure why he hadn't assumed that would happen.
He fidgeted, trying to figure out what he was feeling just then. As she grew close, he swallowed deeply, tugging at his collar to hide the red marks Rin had left on his neck. Before he knew what he was doing, instinct took over, and he suddenly wrapped his arms around her, burying his face in her hair.
She smelled of exotic perfume.

Rin just stood there quietly with a blank expression on her face. She had wanted to the same moments before but now she was scared. Was this grumpy Sasha? Or a pod-Sasha?

She hadn't been expecting the sudden embrace, but Sasha reacted before she really realized what she was doing. Her arms slipped around his neck and she buried her face against his chest. This was nice, even if Jerry's intent wasn't to reassure her. Sasha rolled her head to the side and gave Rin an exhausted, genuine smile.
These were her friends; they were here because they cared. Nothing more. She shouldn't be upset. Deep breath in, and exhale.
She pulled away from Jerry without completely breaking contact and reached for Rin's hand.
"I'm.. I'm tired. Can we find a place? A.. a quiet place? I'll.." She shook her head.
"I'll tell you both what happened." And then she would sleep.

"N-no one's in Killzone's room right now," Jerry mumbled quickly. "Unless... you want to just go to a bunk?" He urged, "If... if you want to wait that's alright I'm just-" He glanced to rin, face still crimson, "We're just glad you're alright! I... I sh-should text Bix and Wash. We tried to stop him, we did! That... that shadowb-b*****d -"

Rin more than gladly allowed her hand to be taken, even squeezing Sasha's a little in a manner she hoped to be reassuring, "Whatever it is Sasha it could wait if you aren't feeling up for it?"
When Jerry shot her the look though she couldn't help but shoot one right back that looked rather... stern.

"I'd rather just.. get it over with." Sasha frowned slightly, releasing her hold on both Jerry and Rin so that she could lead them back inside.
"It's. Nothing terrible happened, Jerry, don't.. just. Calm down, okay?"
Sasha moved into the bunker. She didn't stop until she collapsed into one of the beanbag chairs in Killzone's den.

Jerry fell to the rear of the group as they walked, fishing his scarf out of his coat pocket to wrap around his neck before pulling out his phone to text the others. Ravvlet Text to Wash: We found Sasha. She is OK. iloveyouDIE Text to Bix: We found Sasha. She is OK. It kept him busy. By the time they arrived, he was feeling numb and nauseous, sweating profusely as he eased his guitar off his back and next to the beanbag chair he carefully sank into. He was still not feeling settled.

Rin followed so closely by Sasha even shoving a beanbag chair right up to hers and sat there. Her gaze shifting on the woman beside her. Curious what she had to say but at the same time worried she might have gotten some sort of hint something wasn't right there.
