Given his condition, Lizzy could guess why she hadn't seen Jericho around lately; it would be bad if a Bogeyman - or anyone, really - spot the grey on him... She's not sure what they would do to him should they find out, but she has no intention of finding out anytime soon.
However, since she couldn't see him, she got worried; what if something had already happened? Besides, friends visit friends, right?
Thus, arriving outside Jericho's door with a picnic basket filled with burnt pancakes, and bacon - from her trying to cook Mac breakfast, although it ended up being his lunch because she took way too long - she knocked on his door, "Jericho, it's Lizzy!"

Indeed, Jericho didn't leave his room all too often as of late. And when he did, he donned a cloak. That and he usually was out when there generally weren't many people about. It was kind of cumbersome, but he needed to keep his graying wings covered up. The last seeds meeting proved that people were bound to stare at him and that made him really uncomfortable. The last thing he wanted right now was more attention.
Hearing a knock at his door followed by Lizzy's voice, the dragon looked up from what he was doing. He was working on making his secret code type of thing he was requested to do by Nox.
"Oh, hey Lizzy," he said wearily while letting her in, offering a weak smile. He didn't look happy still, but he wasn't completely miserable.
"What's that?" he asked, noticing the basket. It smelt of food. Tasty food.
...
When was the last time he ate? He forgot.

"This?" She set the basket down on the floor, and heaved a sigh of relief; having to lug that around the monster dorms was something she didn't want to so again soon, "Uhh pancakes and bacon. I figured that since you're probably in your room a lot, it must be hard for you to get food? They're... A little burnt though..." She coughed, looking away sheepishly; 'a little burnt' might be an understatement, but she had seen Jericho eat a lot of things. Like flaming wings.
"So... How have you been faring?" She looked around his room, which was still in a mess, "You didn't hatch more Kobolds...?" She was there when the one he had was tossed into the lava pit, after all.

"No, I don't really get to eat much. Haven't really been up for hunting and I don't really want to go and buy food right now either," Jericho said while rubbing the back of his neck. He offered her another smile as he went to take a look inside the basket, sitting himself down.
"Thank you though.. I really don't mind burnt food. I tend to like it charred anyway," he said with a weak chuckle.
At the mention of his well being and the kobolds, he just sort of sighed.
"Just sort of existing right now I guess. Getting a little better but.. I dunno. And no, not yet. Haven't really been up for hatching another yet."

"Could order delivery! Like pizza! It's unhealthy to not eat when you're used to eating... You'll need to keep your strength up!" She nodded, settling down beside him before pulling out a plate from the top of the food pile in the basket, and then piling up pancake, bacon, pancake, bacon - all a lovely shade of brown, some going towards black, "Oh? Really?" A plan was formulating in her mind; no longer would she ever have to toss out the food that she had burnt... It would never go to waste ever again.
"Aww, uh, where are they kept? Might help to hatch one right now, to help..." She looked at the bits and pieces of things laying around, as well as the smashed consoles and electronics; living in an environment that constantly reminds him of that day? Not healthy at all.

"Eh. It's not like it'll kill me," Jericho said while staring at all the food. The sight and smell of it all caused his stomach to rumble rather loudly. Yeah, he was hungry alright. Before he could dig in, he frowned lightly at Lizzy's words.
"I'd have to train it. While they aren't hard to train.. eh. With my mood lately I'll probably end up blowing up on it. Then I'd be back to square one."
He probably had less patience than usual. Actually, he was certain of it.

"Well then... I'll clean up a bit, you eat to get your strength up. It won't eat you, but a hungry dragon is an angry dragon. Or a can't-expand-strength dragon... Or a super impatient dragon. Either way," She pushed up her imaginary sleeves, and stood up, walking over to what was probably his skelevision before he destroyed it, "Lava is the best trash can, right? Right."
She kicked the skelevision, and started collecting the smaller parts in her arms, tossing them into the lava pit in his room, happily watching each piece fizzle before sinking.
"What have you been up to lately?" She asked, her voice a little strained as she tried to lift up the bulk of the skelevision, resorting to pushing and shoving when lifting failed, "I've not heard from you since the Seeds meeting."

At that, Jericho went ahead and started to eat rather hungrily. It was burnt, but to him it was delicious. Once he began, his appetite really kicked in and so he was really wolfing down that food. He didn't say anything until Lizzy asked what he was up to as of late.
"Om nof.." he began but his mouth was still full. He paused for a moment to swallow before trying again, "Ah. I'm now Nox's.. apprentice I guess you could say. He'll be mentoring me until graduation."

She was working on shoving the skelevision into the lava when Jericho's answer distracted her, causing her to almost go tripping into the lava together with the broken skelevision. Quickly turning around to face her friend, the skelevision conveniently exploded behind her, "What?!" She sounded shocked and in disbelief, which was exactly how she felt at the moment.
"Mentor?" She still sounded shocked, but was recovering pretty well as she wiped her brow, and sat down next to him again, "Wow... That... Sounds rather exciting, actually! How did you get him to agree to mentor you? I mean... He's not exactly known for being a generous or particularly kind trick-or-treater, even if you said you trusted him."

"Well. He contacted me first. Asking me what I had in mind for the future. Maybe he caught wind of my.. affliction or something. I told him a few things I needed and he agreed to help me with that. In return I work for him as a Treater for a year once I graduate," Jericho explained. It was a pretty good deal as far as he was concerned. Well. He supposed that would depend on what sort of treater work he would be doing. Right now it didn't seem too bad to say in the least.

"Ohhh, that does... Seem like a fair deal," On the surface, anyway, "At least you have plans for your future, now!" Assuming nothing goes wrong, and Jericho actually has a future... She's still worried about the Insanity. They hadn't been able to find a cure for it.
"Remember, a long time ago, you said you didn't know what to do with your life? Maybe Trick-or-treating is the answer," She giggled, standing up and patting him on the head.

Jericho smiled weakly at Lizzy.
"Yeah. I remember. And maybe it is. Not sure how cut out I am for that sort of thing but... well. We'll have to see if I have much of a future at this point really," he sighed before glancing down at his food. His appetite had diminished in the meantime.
"It's just kind of daunting. It isn't just at the school either. Nox mentioned that someone far from here just went 'big and bad' recently as well. One of these days... it'll happen to me."

"We're fighting, so that you will have a future," She whacked him on his arm before going back to cleaning his room - or rather, dumping things into the pool of lava, and watching them burn, "So try to think positive! A little positive thinking goes a long way at times... And try to enjoy... You're still here now, aren't you?"
What Nox told him was worrying, but she was determined not to let it ruin her mood, not since she had been worrying excessively the past few weeks, "We'll just have to make sure we figure something out before 'one of these days' then!"

Jericho grimaced as she smacked him before resuming to clear up his room from the debris he had left around. The dragon set down his plate for the moment, just thinking it all over. It was hard to think positively, especially with the voices there, downplaying the good thoughts. He felt like he was a walking time bomb, waiting to go off, and the idea that he could really hurt his friends, forcing them to act against him... did not feel good.
"I'm.. kind of here. There are times where I don't quite feel like I really am here. Like.. my body is fading or something."

"Jericho is Jericho is Jericho," She had just finished dumping what looked like a broken console of some sort into the lava, and was tossing bits and pieces of spare parts in, "Keep telling yourself that... Don't let them take you away from us. It is probably really hard, but... Hang in there? Malodore is trying his hardest, and we're all chipping in, so..."
She bit down on her lower lip, and moved away from the lava pit to pet him on the head again, offering him a smile, "We don't know what is going to happen in the future, but we're going to fight to make sure that it's a good future... How's the food, by the way?"
