Bio: Kai was born to a pair of shopkeepers who managed the local Pokémart in Sandgem town. It was a humble business and a respectable one. Living his childhood happilly and learning from his parents how to sit behind a counter and help serve customers (mostly passerby trainers, both experienced ones and newbies) he adopted quickly his core personality trait; patience, as well as a general tolerance and liking of people. The boy was known for his carefree take on life in sandgem, preferring to walk than run. He usually had some sort of smile on his face, but liked seeing other people smile more than smiling himself it seemed. Though many were slightly surprised when they found out he wanted to be a Pokémon trainer and defeat gyms as many others did, aspiring to be the best he could- his parents were very supportive and helped him gather his belongings and build up a team to help him out... though it took a few years to do so, with the mart being such a distraction and the boy himself always wanting to help out.
However, finally setting out, Kai is ready and willing to forge his own tale and weave an adventure of his own, just like the stories of marvelous trainers he read as a child in books and newspapers.
