Name: Shira Shou Age: Eighteen Species: Half-elf Personality: Shira doesn't talk much because she hates making others uncomfortable. She almost always keeps what she 'sees' to herself so that she doesn't scare others or so they won't think that she's lying. When she does have friends, she can become energetic and affectionate towards them. She would prefer to avoid fights rather than start them. Bio: Shira was adopted as a baby by human parents. Soon it became obvious that she wasn't human. She could read the emotions of anyone that she came across, and sometimes, she could tell a person's past. Her parents became nervous quickly and rarely spoke to her. Shira knew that she scared and worried them. However, nothing happened for a while. Like a normal child, she went to school. Her favorite class was music. One day, though, she accidentally touched her teacher's hand and learned some disturbing truths. Her favorite teacher was a demon-possessed murderer. For her own safety, Shira was sent away before the demon-possessed teacher could come after her. Abilities/Powers: When Shira touches a person, there's a chance that she'll see their past. She is also an empath, meaning that she senses other's emotions. The only skill that she particularly cares for is her ability to heal. Classes Taking: Self Defense, Music, Medical Hobbies/likes/dislikes: Shira likes music, reading, and sometimes being around people. She hates sour food, loud or obsessive people, and having to do math. Again, she enjoys music. It's one of her few hobbies. Name: Rivera Night Age: Seventeen Species: Half-Demon Personality: Rivera isn't a people person- she can sometimes be called pushy, rude or downright mean. However, she is an honest, sometimes blunt girl. She is stubborn and hotheaded about a lot of subjects, especially about her family. It takes a while to gain her friendship, but when one manages to, she is one of the most reliable and loyal friends around. A lot of the time, she follows her gut more than logic. Bio: Rivera was raised by her father, a demon. She never knew her mother, since she died when she was born. She was raised to always be honest about what she thought, even if it wasn't a popular thing to do- that is, until her father's enemies hired a demon slayer to kill him. Soon after, she moved to live with her uncle, her father's brother. He raised her since she was twelve, telling her that being powerful was what is important. As a result, she became someone that would only respect a person if they were both honest and powerful- her uncle was powerful, but almost never honest. Soon, she began to rebel against him, disrespecting him even in front of his allies. Naturally, using blood magic, she made a lot of enemies and caused quite a bit of controversy. Eventually, someone hired an assassin to kill her. However, she fought the assassin, and won. Soon after, her uncle sent her to the academy, saying that it would be safer. Abilities/Powers: Rivera is skilled in blood magic. The tattoos on her arms are protective symbols. Classes Taking: Casting, Art, and Monsterology Hobbies/likes/dislikes: Music and drawing. She likes her hobbies and spicy food. She doesn't like most people, deep water (she can't swim), and liars.
