A flock of birds flew up into the air as they were startled by a series of thunderous steps. Dubwana was on the war path once again. Having woke up in a particularly foul mood, she was now looking for someone to take out her frustrations on.
The hulking purple hyena had only recently started to feel her age. She wasn't as quick anymore, or even as strong. The idea of her growing weak sickened her to her stomach. In fact, she was quite sure that she would rather die than get much older than what she was now. In reality, she wasn't really all that old, not when compared to the age that some hyenas reached. So hopefully, she would get over herself very soon, before anyone else was unfortunate enough to come across her.

K'aah moved through the grass with a definite, intentional rhythm to his steps and movements, his head swaying in time to an inaudible beat. He often walked this way, finding something about it both satisfying and amusing. He found himself interrupted - well, distracted was more accurate - when a flock of birds launched into the air some ways ahead of him. He stopped, freezing mid-step, and watched them.
"Going somewhere so soon..." he murmurred to himself, chuckling.

Despite having a lot on her mind, Dubwana always remained alert. Her ivory ears flicked back against her head as she heard a voice nearby, causing the low growl that was already radiating in her throat to grow louder. She lifted her head and scanned the area, until she eventually spotted a bright flash of pink among the grass. It was too far away to make out who or what it was though, and so she started walking directly towards it.
"Show yourself!" She snarled, not wishing to partake in games of any sort today. Hopefully the owner of the voice she had heard would provide a decent enough challenge for her.

"Show? What is there to show?" K'aah's chuckle grew louder as his attention was stolen away from the startled birds, large ears swiveling and flicking in the direction of the voice that had addressed him so grumpily. "I am not hiding."
