What a perfectly lovely damp day in the forest. There had been sun shine in the morning and ran in the earlier afternoon. Now an uncomfortable to most misty heat drifted through Monachi's part of the forest. He on the other hand quite enjoyed this type of weather it delighted him like no other and was wonderful for his gardens. It also meant less work on his part..which was not necessarily a good thing. Less work meant Monachi was more prone to a wanderlust and boredom. More often then not the druid's boredom proved to be deadly ...well for others that is.
The Druid moved through the forest at times fast as a startled deer other times he lingered on a spot like a tortoise. He was gathering seeds and other things he found on the way, but he really wanted a traveler to mess with. The old monk routine was do for a come back. Monachi chuckled to himself and pulled his hood on just in case he ran into someone.
"Yes yes....That will do nicely. Oh sir or ma'am wont you buy some wine from this druid monk? The profits go to an orphanage."
Oh Monachi giggled to himself before stopping and scratching his head. What if they didn't like wine?
"Then offer them berry juice Bane....right of course silly me..."
With that said he carried on through the forest seeking something to tame his ever growing boredom while stopping to check on each and everyone of his gardens. From the simple wolfsbane to his acid spitting fly larger creature traps. When he got to his newest batch of pretties he encountered a small problem. He hit his foot on the edge of one of the mushrooms in the batch which set off a chain reaction through out them all. For a swift moment he gasped for breath before he pulled a small vial from his vest and swallowed the liquid in side. He smiled and bent down closer to the mushrooms now that the cure was already in him and he touch the one he had hit his foot on.
"Oh my little darling Im so sorry I disturbed you little one. It was an accident I promise."
Bane said in the most sweet voice imaginable before standing and moving on from his nasty little deadly mushroom patch. He would be damned if he was the only one to taste poison today. He would find someone even if it meant leaving the forest.

Kian walked through the woods, a bored, lifeless expression on the visible side of his face. He had no reason to hide his wings, and thus they flapped as if they had minds of their own as he walked, enjoying the warmth that the thick air gave them as they glided behind his person. He didn't like how his clothing stuck to his body though. The sticky feeling of his skin made him a bit more irritable than he probably should feel about it.
He continued walking, stepping on sticks, and watching deer flee from his sight. 'Yes little ones, do run away from me...' He smiled sinisterly, enjoying the sounds of those retreating. He enjoyed being a dark shadow; a stain on the earth.
He came up to a garden of sorts. Someone clearly was tending to it. He looked at the strange vegetation, his brow furrowing, as he made damn sure not to ruin anything. Kian was not an active force in the world, as he prided himself on. If anything wrong should happen to these plants, he'd have to have someone else ruin them, not that he wanted them ruined. What did they do to him? Backing away, he saw a figure moving; talking to himself.
Kian's eye narrowed, as his blue, floating eye moved into the tree branches to get a better look...

Bane stopped as a deer ran by he was tempted to go after it, but what was it running from? He sniffed the air and caught unfamiliar smell, it was not of the forest and something about it put him on edge. About the same moment Kian's eye got closer Bane took off like similar to the deer before him. He didn't like people getting close to him like that without him noticing. Most people not of the forest were loud and you could hear them from miles away how had this one gotten so close.
Bane was up in a tree within a few short moments trying to get a better handle on this situation. He slipped his mask on not sure if this would lead to a fight. His eyes searched the forest floor till he saw the blue haired figure. He was close to one of Bane's garden patches oh he best not touch them for more then one reason. Bane slipped his dart gun from his hood and readied it unsure if the odd winged creature had followed his movements. Bane had never met a witch eater before so he had no idea what they wings were. He thought them odd though could the creature fly? They looked to tiny for such a thing so what were they for?

Kian had seen the figure dart into the trees. This was almost like that other meeting with the druid, Tobias. He rolled his eyes; druids all seemed the same, apparently. He moved his eye up into the tree, just barely out of reach to the one who seemed to be fleeing.
Clearly though, this was his garden and he would not leave it just because of a single intruder. Kian allowed a dark smile to play at his usually, pouted lips. Did this druid know of witch eaters? "I see you..." he stated, his voice flat, showing no fear, no excitement; nothingness.
He moved away from the garden and to the base of the tree, his boots seemingly melting into the soft earth with each step, like he was walking on cushions, as he didn't make a single sound. "You've got a magnificent garden here..." He honestly couldn't care less about the vegetation, but, Kian was always up for a new story to weave with soft, hushed words and a little magical persuasion...

Bane pursed his lips curiously as he put his dart gun away. He stared at the floating eye such a thing he had never encountered before. There was no fear in his eyes over the whole thing only curiosity.
Bane flipped his mask up his one yellow that showed staring down at the intruder. His mind working on how to react to this stranger. It was to late for the monk routine he felt. Perhaps this one he would settle to talking with and hope a chance for exposure to his plants would arise.
"You have the feet of a druid but you clearly aren't one." Bane stated taking a more relaxed pose on his tree limb. Not that he trusted the man in any way shape or form, but he wished to appear like he was letting his guard down.
"I do enjoy my garden mister, a simple druid does what it must." He said with a sweetness in his voice. He slid down the tree a bit but not all the way. Bane's curiosity was bringing him closer to Kian he couldn't help that much. The energy he was getting off him was much different then any he had ever felt.

Kian's eye moved quickly around the other, getting a good look at him, before zipping back over to his person, just hovering over his own shoulder. He smiled, yet the seemingly warm gesture did not reach his eyes; they were sharp, calculating and haunting. "No, I'm very much not a druid." He leaned against a thin tree trunk, his eye still within his face never breaking eye contact with this other.
He noted the calming presence, but Kian would certainly not take any action. That was far from his style anyway. He looked down to his fingers, picking at the perfectly shaped nails, like he, too, was letting his guard down. "Are all druids so simple? Must be quite boring within your villages then. Some witches want to desperately to see those villages, yet I've never had an inkling of curiosity." His voice was bored, and quite insulting, but it was all completely intentional. He liked to note the reactions and responses of others, especially to see just how far he could push them before they rose to anger or submission.

Bane took note of the way Kian's eyes looked more then anything else. While body language was important to him what eyes were doing told more. And this man's eyes let him know he shouldn't let his guard down for real. They reminded him to much of a predators some how. "Most are yes. Boring as hell and easily bothered." He said with a smirk. "Chh!" Bane made a disgusted sound at the mention of villages. "Witches are foolish then! The villages are filled with idiots. But I must say I do enjoy when witches come looking for them. They are so fun to play with." He said with an odd laugh before sliding to a different tree branch. Vanishing from sight a bit even if Kian still new where he was. He really wasn't up to something he just couldn't sit still for long. "But tell me of winged one....what are you?" With a swift movement he was no longer in the tree but sitting in a batch of strange flowers that wouldn't have been seen anywhere else before. "I've never felt an energy quite like yours before."

Kian smiled, taking note of the disdain for the villages this druid seemed to know and come from. He also noted how this man seemed far from "the morally abiding citizen." There was a lot of approval with that. Black and white was so boring. Kian enjoyed the ambiguous and the shadows more than the glory and honor.
"Play with? I detect such a story there." He lost sight of the druid, but no panic came to him. His eye was on alert, even if it couldn't find him, but eventually, it would and he'd be prepared. Kian wasn't a fighter, and honestly, he had no magic that could allow him to be such, but he was built for defense. His persuasive powers made him virtually untouchable, after all, how could you touch a man who asked you so politely to "not hurt him." His mind control was certainly limited, as he could only "suggest" and the other would have to think it was something they themselves wanted to do, but his seeds were getting stronger, and bursting into fresh, blooming flowers and the moments where his victims were confused were becoming slower and slower with more hearts he consumed...
"Oh, these old things?" He turned looking at his wings, giving them a good flap before turning back to the druid, now perched in a bed of strange vegetation. "I'm a majin. Fallen from grace and hunted to the ends of the earth by reapers, blackhearts and knights. I'm a witch eater... but I don't give that secret out so easily... You best watch yourself from now on..." There was no real threat there, even if Kian had just threatened this man's life, more of a sick, dark joke, and his settled eye, held so much sarcasm it was almost as if he had to cry it all out to make it go away. "But, I wouldn't worry too much. You're no threat to me, are you?" He used just the smallest amount of his persuasive magic, planting the seed within the mind of the other. It would certainly not save him if the druid decided killing him now was the right option, but over time, it would grow, and grow, and grow till the druid would believe this one to be safe, and not a threat to him.
Which was honestly true. Kian posed no threat to hardly anyone...It was those he controlled who were the threats.

"A story for me to know and you to wonder." Bane said with a playful voice wondering just what sort of fun he might get from this man if any. He pulled one of the flowers close and sniffed it. This particular plant he was immune to but it seemed to bother others. "Oh ho a threat hmmm. Its not wise to threaten a druid in his own element." Bane said with a laugh crossing his arms and legs at the same time. He could fight but it was much more his style to experiment on those he encountered. "No I'm only a threat to those without a brain. You sir clearly have one." Bane sounded serious in every way shape and form, but in no way was Bane not a threat of any sort. He was a threat to everyone as long a his plants were around him. His mind was busy trying to figure out just how to experiment on Kain or if he could even pull it off. "What brings you oh winged one to my part of the forest?" Bane asked tilting his head trying to look as innocent as possible, but it just might come off as creepy.

"I hate plants!" Aodhan announced as he trudged through the woods, his armor getting caught on vines and leaves as they stuck to the cinches within his armor. He hated this game. He hated it about more than he hated training snobby, snot nosed witchlings who thought they'd grow up to be the best knights ever. Please... Talent alone couldn't make you great, it's how you treat others as well!
He continued walking through the vegetation, his eyes flat with annoyance. Kian was out here somewhere right? He'd asked to meet with him today. "Kian! he shouted, scaring a few birds out of one of the trees. He kicked a log, stumbling a moment as his boot tip was stuck within the soggy, organic material. Lovely...
He sighed heavily, sitting down on the log, feeling it smush a bit under him. He'd just stay here...Maybe Kian would come find him...

For him to know and Kian to wonder? Kian almost felt like rolling his eye... He watched the man, analyzing him closely and paying particular attention to the flowers. He was surrounded by them, almost like they were his protection...
That was it. These flowers were no ordinary vegetation. They were dangerous. Kian had to be careful. "I'm sure it's not wise to taunt an angry dog either, but you'll see me doing just such when the opportunity is presented." He leaned against a tree, a smile gracing his lips, but again, never reaching his eye. "I like to see how far I can push a person. A bit of a flaw within, I guess you could say. I, however, find it to be my most befitting asset." He flashed a dashing smile. "That and my cheekbones..."
Only a threat to the stupid huh... Kian wondered what that truly meant then. He guessed it had something to do with the flowers... "I guess to assume druids a peaceful kind of folk was stupid of me, wasn't it?" He decided not to answer the question the other asked. What purpose did he have? Well...
They both heard it... Shouting and probably making a mess of himself. His hovering eye shot up into the canopy of the trees, finding that blonde... He had sat himself down. Probably gave up, no doubt. Kian sighed. Well...this was going to be most interesting...

"An interesting way to pass the time I must say. I can understand flaws as such, mine is curiosity. Its gotten me in trouble more then once." Bane said with a smile. "Modest aren't we?" He said in reply to the cheekbones comment. "Maybe yes, maybe no. Depends on your location and timing I suppose." Bane said pulling on his horn a bit starting to get tired of sitting in one place for so long. Bane twisted his head and his brow furrowed. The exclamation of the other not settling well with him. Not only that but the sound was coming from near his more defenseless gardens. He eyed Kian for a moment this one was smart enough not to mess with any plants it seemed so in a way he could trust Kian at least around his flowers. "Excuse me..." Bane almost whispered before tugged his hood over his horns and taking off towards where Aodhan was. A fool such as one that made that much noise in the woods would certainly fall for his tricks. Kian he had pretty much given up on but this one there was hope. Bane held back a growl as he saw the man had trampled some of his plants. He took a breath before heading in plain view to his trampled plant. "Dear sir." He said in a horrified voice touched the herb looking plant that was trampled. "You've done something horrible." He said falling to his knees he was indeed a good actor. "These needed four more days till they were ready!!! What am I going to do!" Bane said seemingly crying into his hands. "My village is horribly ill and I've been growing these for months to heal them. We have no money to buy the herbs and they grow here naturally...they'll die before I can grow more." Course none of this was true. If things worked according to plan the knight would offer him help for the herbs and in return he would give him a bottle of wine aka his latest mix of poison so he could see the effects it had. This moron deserved to die aside from the experiment anyways. He trampled some really nice Kava Kava plants and he would pay for it some how.

Aodhan's eyes rounded into golf balls as the crying figure came out of nowhere. Automatically, he felt something was a bit off... How was a hysterical person able to sneak up on a trained knight like that? Even if he was out of his element? He listened to the cries of the other, forgetting his suspicions as he began to feel guilty.
And then guiltier...
And then really guiltier. His weakness of allowing his emotions control him, clouded his better judgement. He didn't even stop to think what this person was, or what they were capable of doing. He stood up, backing away from the soggy log and to a beaten path, that he guessed the man's village used. Strange though...he didn't know there were villages out here...that's why he and Kian came this way.
"W-wait a second. I'm a Cerberus Knight. I can get you any kind of antidote you need. We've got apothecaries in town. What ever you need, I can get it! I can even give you some coin, since I ruined your plants." He honestly felt like s**t. This man was devastated! He fidgeted with his hammer against his back, rolling it between his shoulders as guilt continued to plague down his throat.

Bane smiled wickedly with in the folds of his hands, he had gotten far to good at this game. It was almost sad to claim victory so smoothly least things were going according to plan thus far. Bane managed to squeeze some tears on to his face before he looked up at Aodhan a mix of relief and shock painted on to his face. "Y-you could do that?.....Ayurvedic is not cheap since it takes so long to grow, but if you could it would mean my people would be saved.....I would need nothing else and just be ever so grateful to you for fixing what has been destroyed." The wolf in monks clothing said taking a position that looking like he was about to pray. That should have been a well played act two. Act three he would urge the knight to make haste, yet before he goes .....should he offer it to him like an energy restoring drink or as a ceremonial drink of a promise made.....ceremonial drinks where fun since he got to taste the bitter sweet poison to in those. Yes that would do this knight seemed willing to do anything to get away from his guilt.

Aodhan felt a bit of relief rush about his body. He could easily find the funds to get what this man needed. The Knights had money stored for this event actually. He'd just need to go back into town and draw up a proposal. It'd take a bit though...which was a bit worrisome. "I'd need to draw up a proposal for purchasing. How long do those in your clan have before they..." He left the sentence, hanging in the air like a dead man.
He'd been so preoccupied that he'd completely forgot about Kian! "I...have you seen someone in these woods? He'd appear to be quite strange. Missing half of his face and has an eye that floats about? He wears a skull piece to cover the mutilation. I came here originally looking for him. He could help us." Aodhan of course left out the part about Kian having the ability to control minds. Most knights were fueled with the passion of protection that they'd let their guard down if Kian urged them to hurry up with funding to correct this wrong.
