Houses are cleared individually. Full hunters do have the option of living in a house as opposed to a dorm room, though it is notably less safe to live in the town. Those being promoted to full hunter will need to clear out a house for themselves in order to live there.

THROUGH THE POWER OF NYAN
All Mist hunters participating have been restored to full HP, nyan!

Candace was quick to follow Aria, especially when it came with the promise of seeing the town. She hadn't even seen the town during her trial, she had never been there before. What was it like? Was it nice at all? Was it cool? Was it a ghost town?

..It was a ghost town.

She was somewhat unsurprised by what she saw, though at the same time a little..confused. Why protect this place?

She gave Aria a look like she was crazy. Move..the lounge here? That did have its advantages. More rooms, more space, more privacy. She looked out toward the town again.

"...I'm in, nyaaaa~." Candace grinned, trying to ignore the nyan desire still. She scratched at her ear, her hand curled much like a cat's paw. Well, s**t. That was awkward. "Nyaaaa, should we look for a two-floored one or a single floor?" Oh, wait. Stupid question. Lance couldn't get upstairs. "Let's see if we can find a nice one that's not crumbling, nyan!" This would be fun!

Lance's voice crackled over the radio, and it only took a couple seconds for Candace to nearly double over with laughter. It was adorable and high-pitched like any respectable cat girl, just accept it. "NyaaaaaaHAHAHA thank you, Lance~!" She sobered up a little at that promise, however. Something nice? Candace liked something nice! She grinned. "Yes please, nyan~!"

Aria considered Candace's question, the bell on her headband jingling as she nodded towards her. "Wellll~ A second-story house would give us more room, nyan~ But it needs to have a door for Lance to get in and out. And have stuff downstairs he can use too, nyan. He's going to be the one there most of the time, nyan~"

She should feel guilty about moving Lance out here. It was her idea; he went with it. It wasn't like she was pushing him away or anything after their -- Focus, nyan! Now's not the time to be thinking about that, she told herself sternly, taking a deep breath to steady herself.

And then Lance had to radio in. Her face flushed darker on its own accord, prompting her to turn away from her kittens to fan her face. God damn it, nyan.

"Your enthusiasm is great, nyan!" She told Cass, grinning at her. "But there's a few hundred houses, nyan~ I'm not sure how many we can clear out, but we should try to find one that'll fit our needs, nyan! It'll double as a sort of Mist-house for all of us too, for when we want to get away, nyan. Also, a couple houses here are owned by other hunters, so if it's locked it means someone's living there, nyan~ Please don't kick down doors or break into any locked houses, nyan!"

Wait. Did she teach them how to do those yet? Aria shifted uncomfortably. She didn't remember. "W-well anyway, nyan! Let's go!" She turned and headed into the town, walking quickly in order to retreat from that particular topic.



"Nyaaa~! Come on, I haven't even picked a house to go into yet!" Aria meowed, summoning her flamethrower and preparing for battle.

"Well, we'll just have to make it a few houses less than that then, nyan! Not going into locked houses will be a good start. I still need to learn to pick locks, nyan~" Cass frowned. "Alright, Candace! Let's get started, nyan! If we can't do all the houses, we can clear out at least some of them, nyan~!" Really, she couldn't help but stay enthusiastic even when there were all the houses to clear out and then some.

She leaned back against the older trainee as she draped over her, grinning. Physical contact? Cass was not shy in the least! "Yes, Nyan~! Real Coffee, Nyan!" Cass had never really been a coffee girl, preferring Soda and milk over it, but it was nice to have in the morning before a mission. She'd gotten the original one for that reason, and well...... Her appreciation had been short lived.

Still, it looked like it was immediately time to be jumping to work, as Candace literally already did. She grinned as she cut through the thing in a nice clean swoop. "Very nice, nyan~! If we keep up at this pace we'll clear out a place or two in no time, nyan~!"

However, she'd barely opened the door to one of the unlocked houses whe- "********!!!!!!" and then a grey Phoenix flew out of it and right into Cass.

A lock picking lesson? Awesome! Candace grinned, clapping her hands and squealing with excitement. "Yes please, nyan~! We don't need to go inside, but it'd be nice to see how it's done, nyan! Will you give a more extensive lesson later, nyan~?"

A phoenix interrupted their bonding moment. <******** phoenixes.

"On it, nyan~!" Candace called out, waiting for the flames to clear enough for her to hurry in and strike at the phoenix. It wasn't the hardest hit she'd ever made, in fact it...almost felt like her average strength. That was just disappointing. Grrrrrr!

"I feel like this thing is stalking us, nyaaaaaaaan! Molly found one of these earlier, too! Nyan!"

Aria maneuvered until it was very unlikely that she would hit either trainee with her attack. Trigger pulled, and the gray phoenix now had some lovely blue flames to go with it. "Nyan! After we get this all cleared up, I'd like to have an open meeting," Aria explained, stepping back to give the other two more room to attack. "I haven't been that good of a leader, nyan, and I bet a lot of you have questions you haven't found answers to~"

Aria preferred to have her food right when she was hungry rather than wait to cook things. Not to mention Deus wasn't exactly the best place to do some hunting, and when you factor in how long hunting could take... She was quite spoiled by how "instant" those "instant meals" were. Though lately, she could pass on the MRE's that were the only thing to eat on island.

Wait. Main building was cleared, right? They could get the kitchen ba- no, wait. Said kitchen was probably being mobbed right now. Damn!

"Nope! But they probably will complain once we have all of you help us move into a house, nyan~" Aria replied cheerfully. "I guess it's a good thing we've gotten a few men in our division to do the heavy lifting, nya!"

And the phoenix went up in flames. Thankfully unlike its non-Insane version, it didn't come back. Aria lifted her flamethrower and blew the tip as if it was a smoking gun. "Good work, girls! One down, nyan~ Go ahead and pick a house, we'll see if it's unlocked nyan~"
