It was their last real stunt since the new Negaverse regulations. No killing and no energy harvesting meant that there was no opportunity to rifle through the pockets of your victims. For Ladon, who had spent all his time patrolling, this had been his source of income for some time. Now it was gone - and he needed to go shopping desperately.
"Just this one time." He told Billy. They selected a string of dealers in the area, feeling that if they were going to go for good PR, they might as well take out a few bad eggs who had rather fat wallets. At the end of the day, they had a large wad. They bought groceries, paid the rent for the next two months, and then decided to use what was left on clothes that they needed for the upcoming trip to the beach. They could worry about their money troubles when they got back.
They went to Star Limit, a massive clothing store that sold everything from tuxedos to prom dresses, hunting jackets to tutus. There was even a area for discounted wedding dresses! If you had to find something to wear, you could usually find it there.
Walking side by side with Billy, he looked around to the aisles upon aisles of clothes, a soft song pouring from the overhead speakers. "Well, we should probably find where the swimsuits are."

Billy had been a bit hesitant to go against the new regulations, but a, they really needed the cash, b, Ladon...Wolfy..was a General. And he wasn't going to go against an 'order,' even if it wasn't really an order, at least there was that to fall back on, and c, they were scum that they would be looting...
In the end, he went with it. Now they were here and Billy was a little suprised at the variety. Indeed, taking care of the swimwear situation first sounded like a good idea.
"Yeah," Billy then grinned and looked slyly over at Ladon, "Though if it weere just us, I wouldn't worry about it." He gave a dramatic sigh, "But alas~ ..I don't suppose you've thought up any excuse for our..scars?" Because they were bound to bring up questions. They each had their fair share, after all. For Billy the most notable were his chest and legs which already looked like they'd been tangled up by jellyfish or something.
He decided to tease Ladon a bit more, "I suppose a speedo is out of the question?" Insert shitface grin here.

Ladon nudged him, glaring back at that look. "I'm not hearing a speedo." He hissed back, as if there was anyone around them to even hear them. It was the beginning of the week and most shoppers were either outside, at work, or had already spent their paychecks. "And Paris and Chris will be there so there will be no skinny dipping either." Even if it was the two of them, Ladon felt too flustered at the idea to try. It was a rather ridiculous thought considering how much Billy had seen already. Still, behind a locked door in your bedroom you knew no one was coming in. On a open beach, you were never sure if some boat was going to round the corner.
"The only thing I think we can do abut most of our scars if get waterproof makeup and hide it very well. Smaller scars we can just say were from childhood accidents and make up stories. We just can't have too many of them." He walked with Billy as they talked, and touched his neck. "I think Paris might have already caught a glimpse of this one." He frowned, knowing that aside from Billy, no one really saw how far the scar went.
"I'm sure they won't press on the subject too much. We just can't both look as if we have been through as much as we have." No matter how accident prone you were as a kid, there was no excuse for the amount they had.
"I think I see swimwear over there." He said, pointing and head off in that direction.

Of course now a days it was hard to tell guys regular shorts from swim trunks. Billy had to wonder what the fashion designers were thinking.
Back to speedos...
"Oh, and you don't wanna try getting me in to one?" Of course, there would be no point in trying because one could pretty much assume if the dare was made, Billy would take it.
Luckily enough Billy would be looking for something a bit more covering for this venture. He wasn't the type to even wear regular shorts though, so he was looking for something that at least hit the knee, and didn't cling like a ********. No. Nothing that was skin tight....
Unless it was on Ladon...

Ladon was of the same mindset and was looking at, what he was sure Paris would call, boring, plain trunks. He disliked the crazy, almost Hawaiian designs on some of them, and didn't like the materials of some that felt thin and would no doubt cling and rid up when made went. The last thing he wanted was to come out of the water and having to pull at his shorts to get them from unlatched from him. Shorts with suction were just wrong.
He was favoring a pair of dark blue shorts on the longer side, and glanced over to see that Star Limit actually sold speedos. It was something you'd expect a Olympic swimmer to wear, but unless you had the body for it, you pretty much looked weird and pathetic. "If I wanted you in a speedo, all I'd have to do is order you to wear one." He smiled back to his boyfriend. "Right, Captain?"
He looked back to the speedos. "I don't think you'd prance around in a speedo anyways."

Billy chuckled and said in a purr, "You're right, my General." He then got behind him and rested his hands on Ladon's sides right above the hip and leaned in to rumble in his ear, "I would if it were for you. However for now~" Billy then reached past him to take a pair of longer swim shorts, black with red stitching, and what looked like red lining the inside, off the rack. "I think I'll go with these."
With that and a quick peck on Ladon's cheek, Billy moved on.
"So, what's next on our clothes shopping agenda?"
Billy certainly had an agenda. And it had nothing to do with shopping. Well...maybe a little.

The hands on his him, the deep purr in his ear, all sparked memories of a dark room, bare skin, and deep breathing. The memory was far too fresh, too vivid, that he quickly flushed at the small amount of contact. He had wondered that once the deed was done, that he wouldn't be so quick to get flustered, but now it almost felt worse. That and having someone purr the words "My General" almost made him weak in the knees.
Left to cool, Ladon took the blue shorts he had been eyeing and pretended to look around in order to gain his bearings. "We should pick out some clothes to wear that are good for the summer and the beach. It's warmer now, and we might as well get clothes for the season." He headed off to the men's section, where there was a very wide selection of men's wear.
"Be right back." He left for a moment and returned with a cart only because carrying clothes would get bothersome, and tossed their swim trunks inside. "Now we don't have to carry our stuff all around."

While Ladon was gone to get a cart, Billy went about browsing the clothes racks. Billy was pretty much stuck to one basic style - it was one he knew worked with his body type - short and sturdy. And in his opinion shorts only made him look shorter. So those obviously were getting passed over. He had no problems with jeans, but he had a couple pairs of those already. For summer, though, the lighter fabric of khakis would be welcome. Even if he was very picky with the shade, considering his skin tone....
Clothes shopping. Billy could be a total girl about it.
He was also trying to go cheap. Clearance racks were some of the first he hit. Those always seemed to carry a wide variety, and one of those things caught his eye. Not for him, no, but a nice form fitting - and by that he meant skin tight - pair of shorts...or were they capris? They looked somewhere in between. He'd never wear such a thing, but with Ladon's frame....the boy would look good in such a thing.
When Ladon came over with the cart, Billy looked at him with a grin and held up the find, "I think you should try these. They'd look good on you."
Very straight forward. Oh, this was to be the beginning of a devilish cycle. He was sure of it. Billy'd be a good sport about it too, so long as Ladon was.

Ladon was also in the clearing ranks, moving clothes aside to see what was offered and what didn't look horrible. Luckily with it being warmer, there was a very wide selection of t-shirts and shorts, of which he was inspecting for anything in his size. Being both short and lank, he often had to really search for something to wear.
As Billy lifted up an article, Ladon looked up and looked confused at his choice. He wasn't used to anyone suggesting anything for him to wear aside from his mother or, the rare occasions she went shopping with him, his sister. They were usually bad choices that he could freely decline because they didn't know better or understand his tastes.
It was different with Billy. Having your boyfriend pick out something for you implied that they thought you'd look sexy in it, and seeing as he wanted Billy to think he looked good, the suggestion was stronger. Still, he was concerned.
"Arent' those.....for girls?" He asked, noticing how ....tight it looked.

"I would have thought so myself before my little college stint. Freaken skinny jeans everywhere~" Billy made a sweeping motion with his empty hand, "And nine times out of ten guys were the culprit. At least these aren't bright yellow."
The comment itself suggested he'd seen such, and his eyes hadn't quite since recovered.
"You've got the body type that call pull off the scene look," with that, Billy tossed him the shorts, "Don't be afraid to show off your a**ets." Billy delivered a devilish grin.
It certainly wasn't a lie - Billy had no doubt that Ladon could pull off skinny jeans and edgy graphic tees like a boss.

He grabbed them as they were tossed, and was left looking at the article of clothing. It was clearly form fitting, giving little room but seemed somewhat stretchy so that he wouldn't be unable to sit without ripping a seam. "I...think you'd look better in them than I would." He said, flushing a bit as he never had anyone talk about his a** before and what clothes would look good in them. Going shopping with your boyfriend was turning into an experience all on it's own.
Still, seeing as Billy was picking out something for him to wear, he wondered if he could do the same. "Are we picking out clothes for each other now?" He asked, glancing at some nearby racks. He'd never seen Billy in more comfortable, casual dress, and he was curious to see him in tight t-shirt.

"Pfft~ my thighs aren't skinny enough for that kinda thing..." he answered casually.
"I guess we could pick out each other's clothes. Otherwise We'll probably end up getting whatever we usually get...." Because Billy was really not too creative with his own wardrobe - pants, button-up shirts, the occasional vest... that was his closet. And precisely the pattern he'd follow without intervention.
And if they were going to play this game, Billy would try and find something he'd always wanted his little wolf to wear - a collar. He'd even get a name tag. ......He doubted Ladon would wear it. Either way, Billy was gonna push the edgier fashion for his boyfriend; zippers, buckles, chains, and form fitting sexiness... Some might wonder if Billy had some sort of fetish. Maybe he did.

"I don't want you to go without some new clothes that make you comfortable!" Still, he was given the key to pick out what Billy would wear, and he felt a great deal of excitement at the thought. Having his boyfriend as a temporary Ken doll to play around with.
"But....we can pick out a few things for each other....if you are okay with that." Ladon wasn't considering what Billy would pick for him, his mind racing at what he could possibly find to dress his boyfriend in. The possibilities were endless!

"We can pick out a few things for each other and try them on to see what we like before we buy anything. That way we aren't stuck with something that isn't comfortable, or that we don't like..."
Billy had a good idea of what would both be comfortable and look good on his boyfriend. It was all in the material. Things could be tight and still be comfortable if the fabric was stretchy enough... Fabric mixed with spandex was a blessing. And Billy had snooped enough to know what size to get for Ladon.
So the search was on. One could almost see the evil grin playing in his mind.
Looking through the racks, Billy found a pair of pants that looked like it laced up the sides. It was just decoration, and they seemed moderately fitting. He was half and half on the thought of them, but took them anyway, along with a normal pair of skinny jeans. If Ladon ended up liking the style he could pick out other colors for himself. Feeling like the selection of pants was taken care of, Billy began to look through shirts, making a few more slightly outlandish selections before hitting the graphic tees with their desaturated hues and grungy patterns.

"Okay. Meet you over at the dressing rooms." Ladon left the cart, and went off to find some things for Billy to wear. It was rather exciting, given the large selection.
As he moved, he considered what Billy always wore. Usually jeans or khakis and dress shirts - along with that horrible cowboy hat. Ladon had never seen him in that many shorts, not to mention t-shirts or hoodies. Sometimes he felt Billy wasn't comfortable and was overdressed at times, especially on the days when Ladon was tired and sore, and crawled into a pair of sweat pants and a t-shirt. When that happened, he always felt lazy next to Billy, who almost looked ready for a job interview at times.
Looking around, he located some shorts he wanted to his his boyfriend, some cute t-shirts, and then paused. Considering that what they were picking didn't have to be bought.....
His eyes went farther off to look at other, less frequented areas. Ladon knew Billy's side, and sneaked away to check on a few things. When he returned, he hide the tuxedo and the running outfit under the other clothes before moving over to the dressing room with his pile. "Who should go first?" He asked.
