Appearance:
Most of the time, Hisana can be found with her strikingly bright orange hair hanging in silky waves over the right half of her face. Her left eye is a stormy overcast gray, while the right eye is surprisingly light blue, and the pupil has vanished. Crack-like scars branch out from her right eye, indicating the signs of a painful accident many years prior. Her skin is a fair tone, not too pale and not too tan or peach. Her figure lands with slim arms and legs, a flat stomach, a medium-sized chest, and her face chiseled into distinctly smooth, elegant features.

Upon the sudden jolt of a take off. The only remnant of Hisana's having used the ability will be what sounds like a thunder bolt hitting solid concrete. (Sub-ability In Progress)

Zanpakuto Name: Megami no Zetsumei (女神の絶命 Viz: Goddess of Death)
Zanpakuto Appearance:
Megami no Zetsumei's sealed state appears with a bronze tsuba and a hilt wrapped intricately by a dark red fabric. All of which lock firmly in place over the end of a thin, sharp, gleaming silver blade.
✣ ══════════════════════[ Shikai {Optional} ]═══════════════════════ ✣
Shikai Incantation: "Dance with the shadows, Megami no Zetsumei."
Shikai Appearance:
All designs on the tsuba and hilt darken in color until they vanish into the metal of the katana, turning the blade itself black. The blade is warped in a way that gives it another two sharp hook-like edges in the middle, and two the end of the hilt, capable of snagging onto various things or making it easier to slice someone's limbs off.
Shikai Abilities:
Himei no Mekura (悲鳴の盲 Viz: Scream of the Blind) ◇ Himei no Mekura is the first offensive ability possessed by the zanpakuto. In order to use it, Hisana calls out the attack's name, thrusting her hands forward (palms open/fingers flat) as the destructive power of Getsuga Tensho is unleashed in the form of a sonic boom. It is capable of blowing back and destroying a multitude of objects and other things in its path, such as ripping up a street or smashing in the side of a building. It takes Hisana 3 posts to recharge/use her next attack.
Shūen no Koe (終焉の声 Viz: Voice of Demise) ◇ This ability is more of the trap-type move. Hisana's voice molds into that which is almost ungodly, beautiful and alluring, as to reel in the prey or targets that she desires. As long as she's talking or singing in a whispery voice, the trance will not break. That is, unless she is attacked or caught off-guard. {OriSODEhime will always ask permission before using this ability.}
Suitai Kokyū (衰退呼吸 Viz: Fading Breath) ◇ If this ability is used, the zanpakuto will revert back into its sealed state. Suitai Kokyū is a resort move unto which drains Hisana of enough reiatsu to make her appear as though she were deathly ill or simply unconscious, possibly even dead. It is more of a defensive type move.
✣ ══════════════════════[ Bankai {Optional} ]═══════════════════════ ✣
Bankai Name: Mekura Megami no Zetsumei (盲女神の絶命 Viz: Blind Goddess of Death)
Bankai Appearance:
The zanpakuto's blade sharpens and expands into a sharp, almost rectangular shape with the characters for "Blind" and "Voice" carved through it. Two parallel corners of the tsuba extend, one curving upwards, the other curving down into distinct points. The design is of radial symmetry, those of the inside appearing like curbing checkmarks, those of the outside being simple black stripes. The entire hilt, as well, turns a bloody shade of red. Overall, the zanpakuto appears to be 3/4's of Hisana's height.
Bankai Abilities:
Namitsu Reiatsu Nami Kyōdo 波打つ霊圧 波強度 Viz: Rippling Reiatsu Wave Intensity) ◇ Probably one of her most useful moves by far, Namitsu Reiatsu Nami Kyōdo is a barrier technique that darkens a portion of space around Hisana and the opponent(s), creating the sense of nighttime under a very distant moonlight, seeing how a small white light barely illuminates the field high above their heads. With every step she takes, every leap, and every swift motion of the hands, the air around them ripples like sound waves with each little motion, emanating a soft note or a harsh drum beat from each one, altogether harmonizing to create a score of any possible genre. When combined, it creates an amazing song that booms through the air like enormous speakers fifty feet high. The catch: each ripple is composed of a small portion of Hisana's reiatsu, making it difficult to identify her location when she's moving so fast. This ability allows her to move faster than the speed of sound, sometimes upon maximum use creating a supersonic boom.
Migurushī Oto (見苦しい音 Viz: Unsightly Sound) ◇ This is a relatively simple. All sound is removed from the area for a brief period of time {About 3-4 posts. Will ask before using.}
Kōzanden no Oto Nami (鉱山れの音波 Viz: Mine Field of Sound Waves) ◇ Hisana releases an ear-shattering scream, which can release enormous, visible, tangible sounds waves within a two-mile radius, or a loud, yet beautiful melody that releases every little ripple in an outstanding blast of energy. The moment Hisana stops screaming/singing, the sound waves released float in place, capable of being touched or attacked. When attacked, they detonate and explode. The blade of her zanpakuto turns black and glows a bright red. When Hisana vigorously slams down the sword, she creates a massive crevice in the ground at her feet, and every sound wave explodes on command, regardless of where it is. The detonation altogether creates a blast almost equivalent to the size of Hado Number 96—Itto Kaso. After using the limits of this ability, Zetsumei will revert to her lowest possible sealed state (takes about 20 posts to recharge).
✣ ══════════════════════[ Background Information ]═══════════════════════ ✣
Personality: Hisana is a somewhat bullheaded adolescent with a personality that is almost impossible to keep up with. The outer shell of her form is supposedly tough as steel. On the inside, she can be a bit emotional, as well as temperamental. The simplest of annoying things will get her to make a move, better yet blow something up to get it/them to stop.

History: About 20 years after the Winter War ended, Hisana Kurosaki was born on December 8th in Soul Society. She seemed to be born a normal child with a happy life for the first part and a few close friends. In her early years, she stayed mostly at home in the Kurosaki Clinic with her parents. Everything in the world was perfectly fine. That is, until the family was attacked by a Hellfire. Her mother Rukia disappeared that same day, and Hisana was beaten senseless, left with a disabled right eye and bloody scars all over the right half of her face. Having been scarred for life, Ichigo did whatever he could in his power to keep her safe in the case of any other brutal event, fearing her loss to be like her mother's.
Time passed, and the eye was still no longer useable. Hisana had to hide it by moving her bright orange hair over her face, perfectly disguising the impurities. She and her father both agreed it to be better for herself if she were home-schooled instead of going to regular school, thus cutting off future chances of meeting some certain people.

Appearance:
Yukumi Shizuka is a beautiful young woman that tends to dress herself down so she’s taken more seriously and appears more strict than gentle. She possesses brilliant crystal blue eyes that are almost clear and long dark hair always drawn back in a simple ponytail. She doesn’t use make up but has a natural beauty to her face, regal elf like features. She wears the usual uniform of the Gotai 13 Soul Reapers and tends to have a pencil tucked behind one of her ears as well as a backpack. Her Zanpaktou is the usual katana with a small blue cord around the base of the hilt. The most feminine part of her attire is a pair of aquamarine teardrop shaped earrings that match her eyes.

Kido: Bakudo (#81. Danku - Severing Void), Healing magic of a similar level, Hado (#73 Soren Sokatsui, Twin-wake Blue Firefall)
Shunpo Level: Yukumi is well trained in Shunpo, easily on the level or better than most lieutenants. When she combines her flash step with the ability of her zanpakuto she is capable of moving at downright incredible speeds.
Hakuda: She has some ability to defend against Hakuda but little training in the actual arts of hand to hand without a melee weapon. She 'manages' to improvise well enough thanks to having brothers she wrestled with growing up.
Zanpakuto Name: Facet
Zanpakuto Appearance: Normally a mostly plain katana with the only change being a blue cord.
✣ ══════════════════════[ Shikai {Optional} ]═══════════════════════ ✣
Shikai Incantation: Reflect Facet
Shikai Appearance: The katana turns into crystal that is as hard as any steel, cool or warm to the touch depending on the time of day. Night-cool, Day- warm.
Shikai Abilities: Facet can make several (1-6) ‘reflections’ of Yukumi that she can physically jump between like a perfected flash step. The limit to this is that they all must be within line of sight to each other. She occasionally uses this ability to do something akin to Byakuya's Senka, maneuvering herself into a copy that is behind her target or to the side. Making copies beyond 6 in an hour in this stage will damage her zanpakuto. Beyond 12 in an hour will break it and the sword will not regenerate until another hour has passed. With that in mind she can turn her copies on and off to use for speed and precision of personal body on the field as opposed to offensive so they are less likely to be damaged and explode. When these copies are damaged even by minor means they explode in a cloud of finely crushed crystal. Clinging to anyone within them and burning into the flesh like acid for a few minutes before they fade away.
1: Blur: When in shikai her body reflects a moment out of step to where she really is and where that blue takes place makes dynamic changes all the time. Giving her a further edge on avoiding incoming attacks or having a further reach than the enemy may anticipate.
2: Minor Illusions/Temporary Blindness - Her blade can reflect anything within view and make an illusion copy of it, be it an enemy or item. Using the same ability it is able to focus even a small amount of light onto the face of an enemy and blind them temporarily.
3: Allowing her blade to shorten, which weakens the other attacks she has with it but when it does so it breaks down into tiny glass particle's in the air. She can do this to inject the pieces into a wound when she attacks making it effectively impossible to heal with the glass remains or more commonly into the air around her to leave for the targets to breath in. Which would be quite painful and disorienting. Calling the blade back together makes small slices in anyone that breathed in the fine pieces as it cuts through their flesh to return to it's normal place. The same goes for the wound the glass is in, it worsens said wound escaping from the targets body.
✣ ══════════════════════[ Bankai {Optional} ]═══════════════════════ ✣
Bankai Name: Diamond Shift
Bankai Appearance: Where in it's Shikai form the blade only turns to crystal, in it's Bankai that extends to transform Shizuka as well. Where the blade has always been more defensive than offensive, in this form that grows exponentially. Shizuka's flesh is more difficult to cut, requiring heavier blows to pierce at all. In this form she retains all the abilities of her Shikai form, though when she creates copies of herself she can create six per minute as opposed to per hour. Again if she creates more than 6 it damages the blade and if she creates more than 12 it breaks her Bankai and she cannot use it in Bankai for an hour.
Bankai Abilities: Having only recently developed her Bankai she's worked hard to be able to combat with it but it remains a touchy level of control for her. It's difficult to use reliably for more than a few minutes at this time. (5 min limitation)
1. Copies: As already mentioned above. The alteration to this is that the copies of her are tougher than before and take more than a simple scratch to break them. A heavier hit is all that will shatter them and then they still burst into glass and eat into anyone in the area she chooses. She can choose to have the shards pass harmlessly by allies (or believed allies).
2. Invisibility: When Shizuka drops her offensive capabilities she can turn herself and up to 6 others effectively invisible. It is more than sight being reflected however, all senses as well as those involving spiritual senses are turned back. When anyone in the shielded area attacks it breaks their personal invisibility but no one elses. She may only use this once per minute when it is broken or cancelled.
3. Diamond Dust - By breaking her own ability to use her Diamond Shift for 6 minutes the crystalline skin flakes off and then seeks out her enemies with a ruthless speed. Anyone she chooses touched by the dust is temporarily converted to a weak version of her form, as opposed to diamond, it actually is more a weak glass or crystal, and the blows they take while so cursed (1 min) deal greater damage to them.
✣ ══════════════════════[ Background Information ]═══════════════════════ ✣
Personality: Serious would be the best word to describe her. She tends to take her work as a duty. She is diligent in her pursuit to do her best, be it paperwork or sword play. Often she is either lost in study or working on the field to improve her martial skill. On occasion she relaxes her very neutral expressions and reactions but often only around her family.

Personal Dislikes: Rudeness, Lack of Loyalty, Failing to do one's best,
History: Yukumi was 'born’ in a nicer area of the districts that surround the court squads. Her mother had been a soul reaper that vanished in the Precipice world when she was still very young. Her father was a tailor in town and she took up the family business under him. She had a few brothers and sisters but none that were actually related to her but one younger brother that she still visits from time to time. He and her father as well as one of her other ‘sisters’ work at the shop that he runs. Given it mostly gets business from soul reapers and their constantly torn or damaged uniforms it does rather well and most locals don’t mess with a shop frequented by the soul reapers.
At fourteen she showed a talent for spiritual energy by chasing down one of the few robbers that would dare to go after the place. A bit of a rudimentary flash step and she had been seen by upperclassmen Renji Abarai and he was the one that helped to arrange her entry into the school.
She had some difficulties getting involved, she wasn’t always the most gifted girl socially. Possessing a certain awkwardness added to her own drive to always get things perfect without cheating didn’t always win her fans in her class. It was during her second year at the college that the graduation ceremony took place. Amongst the students was the famous Kuchiki Rukia and so of the few captains in attendance Kuchiki Byakuya was one.
She decided then that she wanted to be in the sixth squadron and worked all the harder at school...sometimes to the point that she would be scolded because she’d be ready to pass out on the field (generally dangerous if you are practicing swordplay).
Though she did end up in the top ten of her class by the time she finally finished. She wasn’t bad at sorcery but excelled more within the field of healing and binding than damaging. She did all right martially and was excellent with a flash step. When she left the school she had several people tell her she would do well within 4th squad but her heart and mind were elsewhere. She got into the Sixth Squadron after her own graduation.
It took her years to work up through the ranks of the sixth squad to get to where she is. She remained for a time as the 3rd Seat before Renji moved on and she took on the position of Lieutenant.
Little to no time seemed to pass within that position before she again shifted squadrons to follow Byakuya's reassignment to the captain Commander seat. She is certainly one of the youngest to hold the Lieutenant of the 1st Squadron but she certainly will not pass on any challenges that entails.
The position change is still a little recent, and sudden, so there is a lot of learning and a lot of paperwork that goes into her daily routine.
Some of her free time is spent visiting her father and 'family' at the tailoring business and often her father has new extravagant outfits for her that she's forced to accept even if she prefers to keep her normal uniform and dress quite simple. Usually she tries to hide her 'softer' side from the rest of the squadrons but with her new appointment that becomes more difficult all the time.
Family Line: Her family and father in soul society. Her mother vanished when she was very young and Shizuka knows little to nothing about her. Though she wears a set of aquamarine teardrop shaped earrings that belonged to her at most times.

Ruka is a fairly lovely woman with brunette hair and oddly colored gray-green eyes. She has a feminine softness to her features but this is quickly dismissed in the wake of her calloused feet and hands, the signs of a masterful combatant. Her diminutive height often make her opponents underestimate her, a mistake they more often than not regret.

Anything Unusual: When her reiatsu flares up or she’s angered her zanpakuto exerts minimal influence upon her, making her eyes flash evergreen.

Kido: Ruka is experienced enough in kido to cast a spell or two without incantation and to impressive effect but she has some difficulties with Bakudo. As of now she can successfully cast up to #91 in Hado and #77 in Bakudo.
Shunpo Level: Ruka has enough experience with hoho to succesfully perform both Shunpo and Senka. While not skilled enough to perform Utusemi, she’s still rather fast and uses that to her advantage.
Hakuda: Ruka is a great master of Hakuda and considered one of its best practitioners. Her style is a mix between aggressive and defensive and highly unpredictable making her a dangerous foe. She also knows the more traditional moves of Ikkotsu and Tessho. What makes her the greatest threat in this style is her unusual and rather terrifying physical strength. She has been known to punch ten-foot diameter holes in solid stone without spiritual augment and the damage only increases once her spiritual power is about.
Zanpakuto Name: Suzaku (朱雀 The Vermillion Bird)
Zanpakuto Appearance: A regular katana with a golden hilt and it's guard is in the shape of a small flame. When the blade catches the light of the sunset or sunrise, flickering flames begin to reflect off the blade, and the edges begin to shimmer with heat.

Shikai Incantation: Burn
Shikai Appearance: The one katana turns into two, connected by a long golden chain. The hilts turn red and the guard is now far more ornate, in the shape of a flaming sun. The blades themselves are now the color of the sky during sunset and -despite their glasslike appearance- are strong enough to cut through almost anything.
Shikai Abilities: Ruka's shikai attacks have no calling as the shikai is based around the zanpakuto's special ability: the control and manipulation of fire. This gives Ruka a wide berth for creativity giving her a metaphorical sandbox to play in. In terms of power Suzaku is essentially a force of nature, one that is skillfully wielded.
✣ ══════════════════════[ Bankai {Optional} ]═══════════════════════ ✣
Bankai Name: Hisaye Suzaku (Blessing of the Vermillion Bird)
Bankai Appearance: Hisaye Suzaku (Blessing of the Vermillion Bird) Her katana returns to it's sealed state. Eight katanas, the same as those she has in shikai, form hovering on her back in the shape of wings and enable her to fly. Behind her, Suzaku lets out a cry of greeting as she emerges from the flames as a phoenix.
Bankai Abilities: Ruka's "sandbox" only increases with her bankai release as the spirit of her zanpakuto comes out to play. Her flames have greater force and she is even capable of producing white fire in short bursts. Once again creativity makes its mark here.
- She focuses so that her fire is absorbed into the blade and it turns white from the heat. She then stabs it into the ground, causing a ring of fire to form around her and shoot up before spreading out in a wider attack range. She can make the ring grow larger the more reiatsu she uses.
✣ ══════════════════════[ Background Information ]═══════════════════════ ✣
Personality: Ruka is cheerful, loyal, fierce, sharp-tongued, mischievous, and a tad bit on the violent side. She has a quick, snapping wit about her and a sparkle to her eyes that never goes unnoticed. Her temper, once troublesome and a great hinderer to her progress as a shinigami, has been tamed and refined to a weapon of battle though she often uses it playfully against her subordinates. Whatever others think of her gruff, tough and rumble nature, she is an exceedingly motherly and gentle woman when it comes down to it. Best compared to a mother lion, there is no danger that Ruka will not face for the sake of those she cares for.

History: Ruka went as any shinigami would, born in the World of the Living and dying later. It was to her great misfortune, however, that when she arrived in the Rukongai she could not remember for the life of her recollect anything beyond her sudden arrival. Disoriented and lost in a world she didn’t understand, Ruka ran into trouble almost right away in the rather hard-hearted District she’d arrived in. Hunger plagued her almost immediately after her arrival and she tried her damndest to get her hands on food. It was in the middle of one of these escapades that a little boy named Konton rescued her. It was soon after meeting her new friend that she encountered Haruka and Mitsushi. The quartet grew extremely close and fought for each other through thick and thin, banding together with other street kids when necessary. They eventually found their way to Yasushi, a kind man who made his home a small orphanage in order to help the children of the District. Despite the rough quality of her life Ruka found joy in it and treasured her family and home dearly.
Her entire life was changed in one day.
It was simple enough, Konton had spotted a man in the market who was carrying bread and seemed to be a real pushover. Taking their chance they rushed in, tripped the man and escaped; or they tried to. Ruka froze up when she fell as well and Konton rushed off with the bread he’d grabbed. The man was kinder than Ruka expected and helped her up off the ground, handing her more bread to tide her over the hunger when he noticed something. Puzzled by this behavior Ruka questioned the man but did not receive an answer, only being asked to return to the market tomorrow to meet with him. She agreed and met him at the appropriate time and was surprised to find that she was in fact meeting with a shinigami, and she had a chance to be one too! Ruka jumped for the chance she’d been offered and entered Shino Academy but not before learning the name of the man that had found her: Jushiro Ukitake.
In the years that Ruka attended Shino Academy she learned that hard work was the way to a better life and strove to do her very best. She was not the brightest in class or the best at Kido but she excelled in the physical aspects of combat, even discovering that she had an unnatural amount of strength for someone of her stature. The girl graduated within the required years with a blade in hand, her zanpakuto.
During the years that she’d been in the Academy Ukitake had become a constant in her life. She jumped at the chance to join his Squad and he at the chance to keep a better eye on the child he’d come to consider almost a daughter. Growing up in her new home and visiting her adoptive father often she ended up encountering a young Kaien Shiba just as he was starting out as a Lieutenant. She spent many happy years there with her family, earning her shikai (from a very stubborn Suzaku) along the way until, almost out of the blue, she was suddenly shipped off to Squad 9.
Hurt and slightly betrayed by the change she knew had been brought about by her former Captain, Ruka nevertheless adjusted to the role she’d been given. To her surprise she found that she greatly enjoyed her time in Squad 9, befriending Hisashi and coming to develop a great deal of respect for Kaname Tosen. By the time the Aizen’s betrayal hit she had mastered her Bankai. Within the next months after Hisashi’s sudden disappearance she was named Captain of 9th Division, and then… she was given her Lieutenant: Raine.
Ruka survived the Winter War, battling alongside her fellow Captains and giving aid to the substitute shinigami, Ichigo. The years went on and all was well, Ruka trained constantly and Raine became a very dear friend and confidant (despite the numerous pranks…). But as the years march on in peace the Captain cannot help but feel restless, there is something on the wind…
