AMITYVILLE Amityville: The sheer volume of students makes it hard to navigate around the established school facility. The outskirts of Amityville are mostly abandoned, though everyone knows the goods lie around the foundations of the school, mostly next to the spacious outdoor gym, the front gates, and the auditorium area. Students occasionally linger around, some wary of your presence, others more than willing to help. Rules:- This RP is possible with students! - Roll a 100-sided dice each time you post. Match your dice roll to the results below as to what you find. Make sure to RP out the post. You can work with someone else as well, so each of you can obtain max 10/15 items (depending on your job class) - You can also invite students to your RP. Students can come into your scavenging RP to help/ ask questions/ etc etc as long as they are invited the conventional means (ie: through a PRP etc etc). IF you make your thread an ORP that means you're in theory allowing any students to snoop at what you are doing! If you are making it a solo, that means Amityville students are not allowed/ do not see your thread. Students cannot collect supplies, but they can try to provide helpful hints about the school/ make conversation/ try to assist carrying supplies/ etc etc. Students are still not allowed on the Lost Clan reservation though, so after they get to the Amityville gates students will have to stay at the school. - Once you are done collecting supplies, you can point claim here- 1- 10 Solid bricks - 11 - 20: Gnome Cement - 21-30: Large wooden door - 31- 40:Reinforced Metal desks - 41- 50:Shatter-proof glass - 51 - 60: Ripped curtains - 61- 70: Thick cable wire - 71- 80: Large round pebble - 81 - 90: Pliable adhesive - 91 - 100: Slightly used garbage bin.

Mjoll sighed as she walked towards the school. After spending time in the reserve she was starting to get fidgety. No forges, no crafting. She was unable to do anything without materials or an actual home. The death horsewoman was tired, literally tired of sitting around doing nothing.
So she decided to make herself useful. It couldn't be that bad, just picking up useful materials right? The horsewoman seemed a bit concerned though. What if she didn't find anything that would let her craft small trinkets while they were constructing their new home? She sighed as she looked around, almost lost at how large the campus was.

It was crowded. Jay did not mind crowded, but when she was trying to adapt to a myriad of things at the same time it could be overwhelming. She gritted her teeth together—figuratively—and braved the blobby mass of students. The horsewoman tucked in her wings close to her body so they wouldn’t brush against someone accidentally, but by the time she had whizzed her way out of the crowd she had grown used to the claustrophobic feeling. Not pleasant, but not completely uncomfortable anymore either.
Still, it was a relief to breathe in a breath of fresh air. She found herself near what appeared to be an auditorium, but Jay didn’t dare to peek inside. Instead she settled with walking toward the sides of the building to rifle through the bits of discarded items that were piled against the walls. She tsk’d disapprovingly as she picked out some cable wire. These Amityville students were talented at wasting items. When Jay looked up she spotted another horsewoman, although the clothes informed her that she was from Death and not War. She half-nodded at the blond anyways. “Hey!”

Mjoll ignored the crowd, in fact she didn't mind the crowd too much having waded through it a little to get to the piles of trash at the auditorium. Her black wings ruffled a little as she looked at the wasted items. "Hello." She greeted the warrior with a smile. While she was unsure of their status she wasn't in the mood to be anything short of pleasant to others.
After all, it'd probably help keep her mind off the fact she wanted to work on something, craft a nice thing. Something she was unable to do. "Pitty some of this is thrown away." She said causally as she picked over the things that she knew wouldn't be helpful. She eventually found more thick wire like that which jay had. "I wonder why they wouldn't use this..."

She returned the smile with a small one of her own. “I know! These students have a real talent for wasting things, don’t you agree? If there was a wasting contest this place would take grand prize, hands down.” The smile stretched a smidge wider as Jay began to talk, filling the silence with her idle chatter and jabbering. Jay only allowed a tiny reprieve of silence to arrange the wire into her straw basket before she set up searching for more items to scavenge. “It’s not totally bad, though. Since what they throw out we can easily use! It’s a gain for us,” she reasoned as she bent down to scoop up a large pebble.

Mjoll nodded, "What they waste is less we have to worry about bartering for." She added as she looked through the pile more. Watching as Jay found a pebble, that looked nice. Mjoll actually inspected it.
"Mjoll." The death horse lady answered. As she continued to riffle through things, hoping not to get her gloves too soiled. She paused as she found some solid bricks, testing how heavy they were before adding them to her collection. She'd actually brought a tot that she had normally used to collect materials when she ran out for crafting. "Mind if I ask what job you use to do?"
The jewel crafter seemed slightly interested in what job the warrior did. She knew they all had different classes but she often wasn't aware of their titles. She never cared to pay much attention to that... until now.Mjoll's Items 1 x Thick Cable Wire 1 x Solid bricks

The death horsewoman eyed the pebble in Jay’s arms. She curiously held it out to Mjoll to allow her a better view of the rock. Jay couldn’t understand why the rock had caught the horsewoman’s eye so suddenly, but she wasn’t going to question. Clans members had their own special interests and duties that involved a variety of things.
“Mjoll! I see. I see.” She nodded her head. “Oh. I was a warrior! So I’m very good with aerial combat and long-ranged weapons.” There was a gleeful tone in Jay’s voice as she explained. Warriors were those most skilled with aerial maneuvers and flying with speed. “My favorite weapon is throwing knives! I get to throw them or go stabby stabby when I want to.”
Then something struck her. “How about you? What’s your job?”
Jay let out a quiet “Ooooh!” when she discovered a large door. Her arms stretched out to grab the edges. The war horsewoman hobbled a bit as she picked it up, but the weight of the door wasn’t enough to give her much trouble. Mjoll smiled as the war horsewoman held out the pebble, "That's a good one." Mjoll seemed to coo over it. Despite it not being a precious jem it was still a nice rock. The horsewoman nodded as she listened to the explanation of the other's job.
"Oh, then I feel very well protected in case something were to happen." Mjoll could hold her own in a fight, but she wasn't always interested in fighting. It was sort of bored her to be honest. However, when there was a need for it, Mjoll would happily kick anyone's a** that needed it. "Me? I'm a jewel crafter." She answered.
"I can make things out of metal, and inbed jewel in them. Or enhance jewels with fear." Mjoll added as she continued to look for new items, pausing to watch as Jay found a door. She still could not understand why the horsewoman held an interest in the rock, but Jay wouldn’t ask. Instead, she nodded her head politely before she placed the pebble next to the other supplies she had managed to collect.
Thin lips twisted into a grin. “War are the best fighters after all,” she noted with a twinge of pride in her voice. Fighting was one of the most important things to Jay. The clan of War specialized in combat. Jay lived and breathed fighting, both the physical and strategic sides of it. While she admittedly enjoyed music and noise as well, nothing could quite compare to an intense spar.
“Ah! Jewel crafter. See, now that makes sense because I was wondering why you thought that pebble was so beautiful, but now it sort of makes sense, but I still don’t understand why the rock is so pretty, but that’s okay!” Grammar, what is grammar? “Wow. That’s so cool. I think I’ve seen some pieces of jewelry from your clan before. They are pretty yet useful.” Jay nodded with approval. She giggled at the second door. “Nice! Maybe we can get even more doors—oh wait what’s this?” She walked over to a pile of junk and knelt down to examine it.

Mjoll's brows knitted slightly as she listened to Jay talk. It was interesting, well sort of. Her wings twitched before she started looking for other things. "Yes a pebble can be very pretty when you realize how many uses there are for them."
She answered. "Walk ways, homes, jewels. Lots of items can be seen as precious and jewelry. It was a bit hard to keep up with the jabberjaw but Mjoll was trying to keep politeness as she continued to look.

“Uses.” The horsewoman paused to shoot another glance at the pebble. Uses? You could make pretty jewelry that had magical effects, you could use it to decorate things, you could use it to weigh things down, but what else? The previous uses didn’t sound particularly beneficial, but perhaps Mjoll saw them in a different light. She was a jewel crafter, after all. Jay was not. Jay was a warrior.
She nodded her head thoughtfully. “Oh, I see.”
Then Jay was back to staring at the bag of Gnome Cement. She tilted her head before reaching out to tentatively lift it. It wasn’t particularly heavy, which was good. Jay decided to haul another bag over to her growing collection of supplies. Hands on her hips, she eyed the pile. It might be a good idea to call in some minipets to help carry it once they were done scavenging. “Do you have any minipets to help with this?”

The horsewoman was caught off guard when the other asked if she had minipets to help carry things, "Actually... I don't." She admitted a bit sheepishly.
Ah, she never really needed minipets, normally the work she did she could carry on her own. So this really was a wake up call of sorts to realize she just might need some minipets to help. She was looking around, "I don't see any just wondering around either..."
As Mjoll looked around she noticed that there were more bricks and began to pick them up and stack them with the others. "Hm, this is going to be interesting to carry then...."Mjoll's Items 2 x Thick Cable Wire 2 x Solid Bricks 1 x Large Wooden Door --- Total 5

Jay nodded her head slowly, her expression thoughtful. “I see I see.” Then her lips pulled into a wide grin as she placed both hands on her hips. “No need to worry! I brought some of my pals from the War isle! They are my cutie patooties and hanging around here somewhere.” A finger scratched her chin as she looked around. “Cutie patooties?” Jay waited a few seconds, but there was no response. She shrugged. They must be out of earshot. Oh well!
She kneeled back down, a white light catching her eye. Jay leaned over to realize that she was staring at large glass. The warrior reached out to flick it with her finger. It seemed pretty durable. She should probably pick a couple up! Jay hauled up a couple of the panes and put them back in her large pile of supplies. Mjoll couldn't help but chuckle. "Oh good, I'm glad you were able to save some of them." It was totally useful. However, when the other horseman called out Cutie Patooties, Mjoll stopped and stared.
She never expected that from a horsemen of War. Some of those horsemen she'd known as jewelcrafters? Maybe.... Maybe.... but this... Mjoll realized her mouth was hanging open and promptly closed it. "Ahem.... Right well maybe they'll come sooner or later to help, if not maybe we can see if some students will let us borrow theirs."
Everyone used minipets for labor right?
As she spoke Mjoll ended up leaning on a metal desk. "OHHH.... this is nice!" She crooned as she looked over the desk and rapped it a few times to make sure it was good and sturdy. The open mouth did not go unnoticed by Jay. She continued to smile as she tilted her head at Mjoll. “Hm?” Jay found nothing unusual with calling her minipets cutie patooties. She didn’t realize it was unique. The death horsewoman simply closed her mouth and continued to talk, ignoring the subject of cutie patootie minipets. “True, but I’m pretty sure they’ll come eventually! They’re just playing around somewhere.” Jay shrugged, her wings ruffling.
“Oooh! Nice find,” she commented while leaning over to scoop up a couple of solid bricks herself. Compared to most of her finds, they were small and a welcome change. Her eyes lit up as she noticed something rustling in the bushes and noticed a war treat. “Cutie patootie!
