User ImageAs he walked down the path that would lead to a field of flowers, Abhichandra was deep in thought. He had to get this group of wolves up and running into a pack. But how to do that? He let his brows knit as he looked up to the night sky. The moon wasa fourth full, which was sad in a way. He believed the moon set the mood he was in, which is why he was so pensive. Today.... Today had been wasted on hunting. While it was necessary and he'd brought back somethig, he still felt it was wasted. What he brought back wouldn't feed everyone. He knew it wasn't up to him to soley feed everyone, but that's what he thought.

Dark blue paws kept walking until he got to the field of flowers. In what moon light there was, they looked silvery. Fireflies danced from flower to flower while crickets sang and frogs spoke. Nature's music was playing loudly tonight. It was a sure sign nothing of intereste would happen, which only agitated the wolf that much more.

This place usually helped calm him down. He wanted to get this pack off the ground. He wanted a place that wolves felt safe and where the moon could be worshipped like she was supposed to be. Like he believed she should. He knew others felt the same. Surly he couldn't be the only one? The proof was how many followers he'd gathered already. Each one had night elements to them; stars mainly. He just hated how slow the process was.

User ImageFor Bronte, every day was wasted on hunting. She had no pack, or comrades, or family to aid her. She once did, of course. And she still did, some where out there. She had used to be a member of a very small pack - just a mother, a father, and their children. Her parents had always told them that they were welcome to leave if it was what they really wanted.

Though Bronte loved her family, they were too closed to the outside for her. They were always traveling, and let no one else but blood relatives in the pack. Any friends she had made while she was with them were soon forgotten as they moved on. Bronte was a very sociable wolf, though she wasn't necessarily outgoing, she just loved to have company... That wasn't one of her little brothers. The biggest reason she had left, though, was to find a mate and have puppies. After caring for her younger siblings, she discovered that she really loved youngsters. It was difficult to find one of theses, though. Though she was skilled in the art of conversation, she found it hard to actually get to the point of loving someone.

Being a loner took much getting used to, she seemed to be well suited for it. Though somewhat on the small side, she was quick enough and had enough stamina to catch herself a rabbit every once and a while. It sustained her well enough. She had enough wit to hold her own in an argument, but came short when it came to feats of brute strength.

She had made herself a permanent home in this field of flowers. Though it was a clearing, she had found a well hidden tree that was hollowed out. It stayed relatively warm, and seemed to be decent enough to sleep in. She wasn't going to sleep yet, though. The moon was out. Even though it was a fourth full, it was bright. It filled the clearing with light, so Bronte kept her head low. You never knew what sort of creatures lurked, and a wolf on her own was vulnerable.

She twitched slightly when she heard a stick crack over the hum of the woods. Her ears perked, sniffing cautiously, and relaxing when she smelt a familiar scent. She sat up, a smile creeping over her face as she saw a friend of hers - a dark blue wolf with a moon on his forehead. "Abhichandra, moon-gazing again, are you? Why, I think I've seen you here every night for the last several weeks..." She laughed, gazing fondly at the male. He was a good friend of hers, and it was a relief to see him after thinking she'd spend the night alone.
