He had asked for help from the one ghoul he thought might be able to help him. She knew about John Danger or whoever that was, she had known about scarentines and had one of the phones people kept telling him he should get, (which he did. Only to accidentally break it less than three hours later). So it would go to plausible reason that Freya would be able to help him. He needed less formal attire and more.. culturally acceptable clothes? Some boil in class had told him he was out of style and King hadn’t known how to respond to that. The boil suggested he get a wardrobe ‘update’ at the maul so.. King sent Freya a letter. Nio Love Miss Freya, It was recently brought to my attention that was in need of something called a ‘wardrobe update’ and that I might get one at the maul. Sadly I lack much knowledge of this ‘update’ and what might be acceptable to buy. It may seem a bit odd to ask, but would you be willing to escort me to the maul and help me? My thanks, Frost in the Storm She’d replied with a date and time and a food stand. ‘Sauerkraut and Sausages.’ Not the best, but the 8 inch meat stick he’d gotten was rather flavorful, he’d give it that.

Freya had stopped reading the note she'd received after 'wardrobe update'. She'd squealed and penned out a reply, and on the date she'd agreed to, she was practically running for the maul. Shopping trip! No, even better, MAKEOVER SHOPPING TRIP! Storm was going to look so good in Goremani.
She was at the food stand in minutes, but she slowed to a stop when she watched King taking a big bite out of a sausage. She.. she tried not to find that funny in the most horrible of ways. She really did. But her mind was guttered from the moment she saw it, and she giggled as she hopped up to him and gave him a quick hug.
"Hallo, Storm! I see yehr ah.. yehr enjoyings that sausage, hah.." She bit her lip to keep from laughing.

Danny needed new shorts. She needed new shorts baaaadly. She'd ripped quite a few pairs on the war island climbing trees and what not, and the others were just getting ratty and old. Danny didn't mind much, but Yin had pointed out that she needed new ones, so she was doing as she was told. Her ambitions weren't very complicated.
Of course she'd taken the time to walk through the food court. Food was great, and she didn't really like shopping so she was biding her time with delicious smelling food.
King and Freya didn't slip under her radar though. She'd never really talked to Freya since the reaper was always wrapped around Herryk whenever Danny saw her. King she knew through Yin though, and he was nice enough if not somewhat cold.
Either way, Danny was friendly to the point on annoyance. "Are you guys shopping too???" she called out from across the court, waving and bounding over to the twosome. Shopping would be a lot more fun with other people!

Chew chew chew, bit, chew. He wasn't thinking about sausages and how they could be taken. Only that he had been hungry. Cocking his head slightly, he finished the meat with a final bite, licking his fingers for a second. "Mhm, it was suitable. Not as fulfilling as I usually like but it suited my needs just fine. ...You alright?" He leaned forward curious as to why she was making such expressions. Had he done something amusing? Was he being fooled in some fashion?
At Danny's arrival, King nodded. "Yes miss Danny, Freya is has been kind enough to join me as I look for clothing. I ah... need a 'wardrobe update' apparently, but lacking in knowledge, I asked her to help me. She knew that John Danger fellow, so it begged to reason she would know more of the current trends than I. Are you here to shop as well?"

Freya shook her head, still attempting not to laugh even as he asked her about her silly expressions. Danny was a blessed distraction, and Freya was so grateful for it that she seemed a little overexcited to see the ghoul she'd hardly spoken to before.
"HALLO!" She squealed, pulling her over. "We are shoppings, yes! Shoppings! I wants teh dress my friend Storm up likes a Ken doll if he lets me, but I thinks not so much. And shoppings for me too, but when is it not time for shoppings for me? Yehr name was ach, Danny, ja? Yeh wants teh shops with us? Yeh helps me not goes overboard with poor Storm's new wardrobe. Okay?"

Danny tilted her head as Freya spoke. Why would she want to dress up King like a ken doll? The clothes would be so tiny, there was no way they would fit ... Was King actually a fairy and could shrink down to size?
She just kept talking though, and Danny only interrupted to say, "No just Danny. Not Ach Danny Ja. Juuuust Danny." Freya quickly picked up the chatter once again, and Danny just stood there nodding. Who even knew what was going on at this point.
"Sure I'll come with you I guess ... I mean I don't really like shopping, but if you say you need help ..." she said in response. "Where are we going?" She prayed they weren't going to the barb-ee aisle. It was so ghouly she could barely stand it.

"Ken doll?" Again, his head tilted to the side, not sure what they were talking about. Why would you dress up a doll? Was it some kind of spell or totem that one used here? He was fine with trying on clothes but... He wasn't sure he wanted to be equated to a doll. "I am fine with testing garments as needed but- what is a ken doll and why do you dress it up?" Looking over to Danny he wondered if she knew. Maybe it was a ghoul thing? Still Ken dolls aside, he wasn't sure what store to really start out in. Pulling out a mall map he held it out a bit clumsily. ".....I... well." A shift in his posture, trying to hide a bit of his awkwardness. "Where does one usually start out here when looking for new clothing?"

Freya giggled at Danny's correction, and rolled her eyes. "Yehr a funny one, Danny." But at least she was coming with them, and that delighted Freya. She took Danny's arm in one hand, and King's arm with the other, and started to lead them down the giant aisle. "Is okay! I know just where we goes for our first stop, Storm. I wants teh sees yeh in some Goremani. Mmm. Yehr goings teh look so good, I don't knows if teh ghouls will be able to keep their hands of yeh!"
She gave Danny an appraising eye, wondering if she was going to be one of those ghouls. "Are yeh datings anyone right now, Danny?"

Danny just stood there with a dopey look on her face, but somewhat proud because at the moment she was just thinking, she called me funny! Oh Danny liked this Freya ghoul.
She wasn't quite sure what a goremani was, but Freya already had her arm hooked and there was no reason to break free from the valkyrie's grip at this point. Not that Danny would be able to anyways. Freya had quite the iron grip.
At the ghoul's question, Danny responded, "Uh huh." She blinked a few times, and then realized Freya wanted a name. "Oh! Uh his name is Rikki. You're dating Herryk right?" Danny sure hoped they were dating with how much they were on each other ...

Let by his arm, King was half listening, half looking at the things they were passing. It all looked very formal then what other wore to school, and if not formal, more proper. Gentlemanly, which, he could accept. At the topic shifted from goremani to dating King wondered by clothing would attract females. The point was more culture acceptable wear. Or just.. new clothes really. "Dating is... what you do on scaretines right?" He was guessing from that whole event and it's... premise to find suitable mates. "Another type of courtship that comes before mating yes?" He looked over at a very nice looking sash, if in an odd shape. No one had explained to King what ties were.

"Ach, okays. So yehr taken. Then we dress Storm and is okays." She murmured to herself more than anything, and then steered them both directly into Goremani. She let King go, to peruse, and kept her arm on Danny. "Ja, I am with Herryk!" She announced a little too loudly, in such a hushed store. "We are in loves loves loves- STORM!"
She had seen a jacket behind Danny even as she swooned while thinking about Herryk, and the sight distracted her thoroughly enough to SCREAM King's name, startling several customers. "Comes to Freya, I sees a jacket that yeh'd look so delicious in, mmm~"

Taken? She wasn't taken anywhere. Well, she was being taken by Freya to the shops. That must've been what the valkyrie meant. Odd way to phrase it though.
This was the first time Danny had actually met someone as loud and short-focused as herself, and honestly Danny was excited as Jack. She focused in on the jacket that Freya was referring to. She wasn't exactly sure why Freya wanted to eat King (she called him delicious after all...), but she said, "Ooh! Yeah! Try it on try it on try it on try it on try it on try it on try it on try it on try it on try it on try it on try it on try it on try it on try it on try it on try it on try it on"
The chanting wasn't stopping any time soon.

The ties were forgotten with a yelp as his name was yelled out, head whipping to see what was wrong.... only to see everything was fine. Wary he walked up to her and Danny, eying the jacket and the fire demon urging him to try it on. Picking it up, he shrugged. Ghouls knew what they were talking about so, pulling off his layers, he took a moment to take off his bracers as well. "Ah, let's see here." It slipped out his shoulders with ease, the cut framing his build rather well, and if tailored, would no doubt look even better. "What do you think?"
