I was gifted some Gaia Cash recently, and I spent most of it on a Rapid EI Bundle #4, May's Sealed Advance Chance, and five April 2012 letters. This puts me in the fantastic position of making a profit regardless of what I sell everything for cat_4laugh ! But of course, I'm greedy and I want to maximize my profit. I've sold 2 of the letters to give me some money to play with, but I'm not sure of what the best way to go about selling everything else is.
Also, when it comes to the EI Bundle, would I make a bigger profit opening the bundle and selling the EI's separately, or should I keep the bundle intact?
GUH. cat_eek moneys are confusing

I dont touch EI bundles, so im not sure about those.
Letters open on the 15th and jump up in price when its released to about 170-180k, if its a good mc it will easly go to 200k+ per letter.
May Chance bundle will be opening soon too! Hopefully sometime this week, those will jump up to 900k-1m gold when it opens smile

You missed the best time to maximize profit for the Rapid EI Bundle. With cash items, you wanna sell them right when they release while the hype is still high. However, you can still make a decent amount of them. I would sell the bundle now, and if you plan on investing with it, pick it up again later when the price drops.
I really can't help you on the Advanced Chance. It depends on how popular the next CI is. The safest option would be to sell it now. Just beware if the next CI is really bad, the price of those may drop.
MC letters are usually for long term safe investing. If you don't have much gold right now, I'd also sell those right now (or when the price picks up a little.) If you have tons of gold and then those might be worth sitting on for a while. I personally like April's MC a lot.

With the Advance Chance, treat it like a normal CI bundle that you've been given in advance. Sell it on Day 1 and you should get about 1m for it, like Novii said. 3nodding For the others, Ninja's pretty much spot on.
The only extra thing I can add is that, as a rule of thumb, bundles almost always reap more profits when opened and sold as separate units. Just remember to check the LMP of the items BEFORE you open it. xp

Thanks everyone smile I ended up selling all but two of my letters and picking up a couple of May's letters, hoping to make a little profit when the 15th rolls around.
And I think I'm going to break up my EI bundle; the bundle really doesn't seem to be doing much on the marketplace but the EI's on their own seem to be doing quite well.
As for the advance chance... I've been away from Gaia for so long that these silly things completely boggle me. I think I'll hold on to it for a little longer, see what happens.
